Huge windows provide stunning Dutch views onto the river, the grass meadows with cows & sheep and a picturesque village in the distance. The river is quiet water so have a sauna & a swim, take out the kayak, big canoe or SUPboard. We have a heatpump for the floor heating, and used upcycled items such a charming wood-stove, a fantastic bath, a fully-equipped kitchen, bikes, a firepit & trampoline.

The center of Makkum is 5 minutes drive/30 minutes walk from the property. Really everything is at hand for the perfect vacation: surf/sailing schools, the cruise boat, cycling and walking routes, beach tents, the charming center of Makkum and of course the beautiful sunset! The studio features a king size bed, kitchenette, spacious bathroom and plenty of storage. Parking is possible at the cottage itself, provided you have a small car. Otherwise we would like to refer you to the free and spacious parking space at the port. You can park your bikes in the garden belonging to the guest house.
