I had an incredible stay at this retreat! The house is absolutely amazing — spacious, beautifully designed, and perfectly set up inside for total relaxation. The spa and sauna were incredible too, making the experience even more special. But honestly, the best part was the host. Gary is an absolute legend — super supportive, caring, and an excellent host in every way. I felt so looked after during my stay. I’m already coming back next weekend, and I couldn’t recommend this place more highly. Thanks so much Gary 🙏🏽

20 Manns road is a perfect place for anyone who want great access to the hawksbury River. having your own boat ramp and dock was amazing. The house and outdoor area is set out very well and great for a large family. We had an amazing Easter weekend, skiing and catching up with family.

Beautiful home and location. We had 9 people staying and there was plenty of room for everyone. The outdoor area and views were spectacular. The pool, fire pit, outdoor dining and landscape made this perfect for an afternoon BBQ. We will definitely stay again.

Honestly, this place was something else. Tucked away in the forest, super peaceful, and absolutely stunning. The castle vibe is real with its quirky, old-world charm, but it’s also really comfortable and spacious enough for a big group. We spent most of our time relaxing by the pool, surrounded by the sound of the trees, or just hanging out in the large living areas. Waking up to the sound of birds and the view of greenery all around felt like a total escape from the city, even though it’s actually not far from some great cafes and bushwalks. The host was lovely and made everything really easy. The place had everything we needed. It was clean, cozy, and such a memorable stay. Would absolutely come back. A hidden gem close to Sydney.

A beautiful place in a beautiful area. Myself and my friends all felt like royalty when we walked in the door! The statuettes inside and out give the place a lot of character, and there is always something new to notice! Even in the colder months, outdoors is still gorgeous - I took myself on a short walking meditation around the property and it was so scerene! Simone is a brilliant host! She responds quickly and is very friendly. I wish we could've stayed for longer and interacted more. Highly recommend!!

One of the most beautiful homes we have stayed with our family. Big enough space for a great trip with 14 of us sleeping very comfortably. Alex had the cot ready for our baby in the main bedroom which was a great set up so our daughter didn’t wake up from naps while the rest of the family played pool or hung out by the fireplace. Alex met us and showed us around the home at check in. The garden is so beautiful and fun to explore, although upper MacDonald didn’t have many attractions for us, the home itself has plenty to do (pool table, pool, huge lounge area, garden etc) and space to have quality family time. At sunset you can sit on the deck and look out at the creek or up at the stars at night to see the clear milky way! It was a dream home equipped with everything you need to stay in for a long weekend.

Had a great weekend at MacDonald lodge with a group of friends. House was beautiful, lots of space, great amenities & stunning views. Would definitely return in summer to make more use of the pool and outdoor facilities. Thanks for a great stay!

This was our second visit to He's place because we found it to be such a lovely, comfortable & convenient place to stay the first-time round. He's place is very well supplied. You get your own entrance to the large upstairs apartment above the main house. Sometimes muffled sound travelled but we didn't find it a problem. My husband particularly enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the early evening, relaxing and taking in the view.

A 3-Day, 2-Night Retreat Surrounded by Beautiful Nature and Great Company My wife and I, along with a couple of friends, spent a wonderful 2-night, 3-day getaway together. The place we stayed at was a beautiful wooden house with a stunning backyard view of the mountains—something that photos alone can’t fully capture. We had an amazing time in this lovely space. The accommodation was spotless, the host was kind and responsive, and the communication was impressively fast. Although the location wasn’t far from Sydney, it still gave us the perfect countryside vibe and allowed us to truly enjoy the beauty of nature. The BBQ and fire pit facilities were fantastic, and we all had such a great time together. We were especially touched by the thoughtful provision of plenty of firewood, which allowed us to stay warm and enjoy the outdoor space even after sunset on chilly evenings. If you’re looking for a healing getaway near Sydney, we would absolutely recommend this place :)

Gorgeous cottage. Interiors were beautiful, comfortable and luxurious. Great pillows, linen and we all slept so well. We felt so welcome, a lovely bottle of wine and the Cafe voucher and Easter Eggs were so thoughtful. Great kitchen, beautiful bathrooms. and very comfortable lounges, clean and cosy. Right from the moment I booked, Deb was attentive to any potential needs, warm and welcoming. I wanted to invite her to join us for breakfast but thought that may put her in a difficult position, but she was just so inviting. Offered lovely suggestions for morning coffee and breakfasts at Lime and Coconut, and they did not dissappoint. Simply lovely people. Deb offered little extras, such as fruit, chocolates( my hips wish she hadnt), fresh sourdough and cake which was delightfully devoured. A really lovely stay in a beautifully preserved colonial cottage. I am now in love with Windsor

A group of 8 of us stayed for the weekend and loved this air bnb. The house is incredible with so much space and amazing views. We had planned to go into the blue mountains but ended up staying in Bilpin as loved the area with some nice cider breweries nearby. Did not want to leave.. would 100% recommend!

This place is the most perfect little hidden country paradise. We were amazed at the beauty of the place, especially the surrounding fields with the goats, sheeps and cows. The sunset was breathtaking and we couldn’t have hoped for a better stay. One little thing that would have been good is having heaters in the house as the nights were pretty cold and we only had a fireplace in the main area so the rooms remained pretty cold. Other than that. the house and its patio were really welcoming and we appreciated the tea and coffee at our disposal as well as the TV and dvds, bonfire and barbecue. We would recommend to anyone to come stay here, and who knows, we might even come back ourselves ! Thank you

we had a great stay in a lovely home which have everything you'll need. the location is not too good, the neighborhood is nice, but car rides are necessary for trips. if you have a car it was very pleasant for us to explore the blue mountains. I'd definitely recommend it!

Beautiful property, blown away by quality finishes throughout and personal touches that really make it a home. We visited from Sydney with young children and felt worlds away. Great location, lots to check out and close enough for a day trip to Zig Zag Railway. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay at Xian’s place! The house felt like home. It was also clean, comfortable, in a great location, and it was very private. Check in was smooth, and communication with Xian was quick and helpful throughout the trip. The views during the day were absolutely stunning and at night, you’re able to enjoy the starry sky. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thank you Xian for the wonderful experience.

Amazing views, very responsive and helpful host. Spa bath was amazing to relax and unwind. Just not any utensils if you want to do your own cooking but that was fine. Gifts upon arrival for breakfast was lovely, would definitely recommend if you want a relaxing getaway!

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely home! The place was exactly as pictured—clean, spacious, and beautifully set up for a comfortable stay. The bedrooms were cozy, and we especially appreciated the multiple beds which made it perfect for a family.

We had a great stay at Hestias place. It was close to Sydney but felt very private and quiet and we really enjoyed the access to the nearby river and amazing star gazing at night. Would recommend.

Pear Tree Cottage was warm, cozy and well-equipped for our weekend stay. The space was set up very thoughtfully, and we had everything we needed on hand. The location is close to the Winmalee Village for picking up supplies, and a short drive into Springwood for cafes and restaurants. Liz was a great host—friendly, responsive and her detailed instructions made everything smooth. Thanks Liz!
