Cute house right across the street from a beautiful black sand beach! Easy to get into and very responsive hosts.

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful and well-maintained home. The ocean view from the balcony was stunning, and the house was tidy and comfortable. Communication with the host was prompt and friendly, making the experience smooth from start to finish. It’s a great base for exploring the island—just keep in mind that having a car is essential. I can’t say enough good things about my stay in the Eco Hale. From the detailed directions to the cabin, to the very warm welcome, Kaeo’s responsiveness, the beauty and serenity of the property, to little details like woolen socks & a going-away bag, everything was 100% on point and what I was looking for to relax and get away from it all. I felt very taken care of from the moment I arrived. The property is safe, exceptionally maintained, and surrounded by beautiful plants, with the sounds of geckos, birds, coqui frogs and rain. Listening to nature while doing yoga or soaking in the tub was the highlight of my trip! Kaeo and Karl really have thought of everything, and are the kindest hosts anyone could ask for. 10/10 experience—I hope to be able to visit again!

My lady and I decided to make this one of our stops for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did! Jacklynn was an amazing host with an amazing property. She was very quick to response to our questions and went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. The cottage was clean, cute & looked just like the pictures. We really enjoyed the decor. We utilized the natural hot tubs and pool during our stay and both were great. The short trail which leads to natural steam vents is also a must. It was the perfect retreat for relaxation. We will definitely be returning the next time we are on the Big Island. P.S. Her dog Kalo 🐶 was a great bonus

Our stay at the cottage was everything we hoped for and more. The surrounding were absolutely beautiful. The view of the landscape from the back patio was so peaceful and the botanical garden was easily accessible and provided a place of relaxation. You are centrally located to all excursions and some of the top rated restaurants and bakery.

Stepping out of my car, I was greeted by Karen and we walked through the magical lights towards my place for the night. There was a little “welcome Annie” sign at the door. Karen then walked me down to the beach to see where I could snorkel in the morning. This museum like home is full of LOVE. Art, Elephants, surf boards, even a buddha gong. Unfortunately for me, it was also full of little spider roommates that hung high above the bathroom and bedroom. The occasional spider is okay, but to have that many eyes on me was unnerving. I couldn’t stay a second night. I know, I know….I have an unnatural fear. I didn’t see any other friends. I would stay here again if I was with someone else. The bed was super comfy…. and the shower was heavenly. That was the best part for me! The fridge and stove were dirty so I opted out of eating there. ‘The Coffee Shack’, is a very delicious restaurant with an amazing view!! Call ahead to get on the waitlist.

Very cute tiny home located just minutes away from Volcano National Park and Volcano Village- where there are a couple of great restaurants and Cooper's Market. The home is small, but has everything you need for a quick stay.

What a cozy little place! The private lanai feels like you're deep in the jungle, so serene and relaxing. Some fun, thoughtful little touches too. The spacious bathroom is fantastic.

This was the perfect place to stay while exploring the island. It’s close to the airport and main roads but also feels far from the city. We loved seeing the ocean from the porch while eating breakfast. It was such a lovely way to start the day!

This place serves its purpose. Out of the way very quite road. The froggs sing you to sleep:) Bed was very comfortable. The Black and white cat is so friendly, he loves people. Place was well presented. Appreciate staying there.

This condo is a perfect fit for visiting the whole island of Kauai. It also has beachfront access to an amazing view and lots of restaurants nearby. I highly recommend it and would recommend it to friends and family Thank you so much for your hospitality. we enjoyed ourselves immensely

We had a fantastic stay. The hosts are very friendly and responsive. The place was very clean and has everything you need. It has a very beautiful view of the city as well as the water. There are beautiful beaches within driving distance. It was located 20 min from the airport. It is also only 5-10 min drive from very good cafes and restaurants as well as shops (local as well as retail such as Walmart, Safeway, target, Costco). We will definitely be keeping this place in mind whenever we return to this beautiful island!!! 🏝️😄

This magical jungle tree fort sits above an amazing river that runs thru a beautiful canyon that pours into a big swimming hole directly below you . I was traveling with my teenage son, we had plans to sneak over from resort life to view the volcano and hike some waterfalls so we just needed a sweet crash pad ,and this was an absolute treat. rain forest hideout. Its very simple. but dry clean and cozy! so fun to enjoy these surroundings. we loved it . off grid jungle showering w tree frogs will heal your soul! We met the host briefly, we got in a bit late and she was very kind and helpful and patient. thank you for having us 🙏🏽🪶

The cottage was an architectural beauty! Very well built and decorated, without being cluttered. It had everything we needed and was just down the street from the park where we hiked. Local recommendations for food were spot on, and we had some amazing meals. I hope we can someday make it back.

The cottage was a fantastic launching pad and spot to relax/recoup. It was even more private feeling than the pictures depict. The cottage is surrounded by landscaping that makes the cottage, deck, and shower feel very protected, and quiet…. Yet also safe. The cottage kitchen is well appointed - making it easy to cook (or bbq out back) my meals. The cottage is located next to an easy to access beach, where you’ll often have it to yourself. Taline and Dan were awesome hosts with lots of local knowledge and were extremely responsive. The location is also such that it’s easy to find good food, and places to relax and explore.

Private, rustic bungalow on the Big Island’s remoter southern coast. The bungalow has a view of the ocean from the bedroom windows and porch. Also, great view of the stars at night. The friendly hosts are in an adjacent house and proactively provided instructions and local recommendations. They were very responsive to our requests. The house is a little off the Belt Road about midway between Kailua Kona and the Volcano National Park. It is about 30 minutes from the Black Sand Beach. The hosts provided snorkeling equipment, boogie boards, and beach towels at no extra charge.

just as described. located next to the secret hot springs and the nude beach! a quiet peaceful neighborhood with so much Beauty. A very responsive host and wonderful attitude! and don't forget the stars at night, amazing!

The cottage was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed during our stay. It was on a large lot tucked away in lush surroundings and felt like we were far away, even though we were 10-15 minutes away from dining and our tours. And bonus, we were visited by lots of wildlife ❤️ It was the perfect place to spend our 25th anniversary vacation!

The best Airbnb we’ve had! It was absolutely stunning, clean and comfortable. And had every amenity you could need. Wonderful location and neighborhood. Loki and Frank were so kind and friendly, we are so happy to have met them and stayed at their bnb!

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay at Jenni’s place. We really indulged in the property and the hot tub it was such. Gem of a place. The neighborhood may not look like much but the cottage itself is stunning in every way. It’s even fully stocked with spices and all the silverware you could need. We really enjoyed staying here and wouldn’t hesitate doing so in the future.

Beautiful spot, great sunset views and the pool is nice! Love being a little higher and out of the heat. Had everything we needed, unfortunately just a short overnight for us. Coqui frogs were nice for us but use white noise if you need! Very friendly and helpful with recommendations! Would stay again!

Serenity in the small village town of Volcano. Charming little spot surrounded by greenery. Appears recently built - everything looked and functioned new. Phenomenal sliding door windows overlooking the trees. Posh bathroom shower vibes. High ceilings. Mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and stove. What else do you need?! We enjoyed our brief one night stay very much.

Perfect. We loved Mike’s place, which was impeccably decorated, organized, and accommodating, and the defining highlight of staying in Volcano Village. The proximity to the park is key, but what was really special was the lanai, where we sat for hours reading, sleeping, and listening to the rain; the private house with massive windows and thoughtful lighting; the delicious fresh food that saved us a trip to the grocery store and kept us well fed. Mike welcomed us at the door and gave us a thorough tour of the house and garden. We had an amazing time and would love to return. This set the bar for a perfect air bnb!
