Holiday rentals with a patio in Hatteras

Lisa’s home was a great breath of fresh air. The gardens were beautiful. Exactly what we needed! She was very responsive, kind and generous to let us use her beach chairs for a trip to the beach. The place was exactly as mentioned-quiet, very clean and plenty of space for two people. The only con would be that the shower was pretty small but we managed ok. We hope to stay again!

We loved spending the weekend at Papa’s Place. My boyfriend and I were looking for a low key, quiet spot to get away and relax, and this place was perfect! It is walking distance to several good restaurants and the beach while still being tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. The people of the neighborhood and of Buxton as a whole were friendly and helpful. Papa’s place is the perfect size for a couple, and the full kitchen has everything you need to stay in and cook. The highlight of our trip was sitting out on their porch with their cat Juan!

Christina was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. She provided thoughtful touches like complimentary snacks and water, which was such a nice surprise after traveling. The amenities were fantastic - the hot tub and outdoor shower were absolute highlights that made the experience feel luxurious and relaxing. The location couldn’t be better - it truly is a 3-minute walk to the beach as advertised, and we loved being able to stroll to nearby restaurants without needing a car. Everything felt so convenient and walkable. The combination of Christina’s wonderful hospitality, great amenities, and an unbeatable location made this stay memorable. Rory was a very friendly host. He was so quick to respond from start to finish along with ensure we were able to securely get in. His place is exactly as listed and pictured. Very clean, quiet, easy accessible to the beach. The beach was beautiful not crowded. Highly recommend for many reasons! Thank you for making our stay perfect!

First time staying in the upstairs apartment. Very roomy and a nice deck to set on. Bed was very comfortable

We enjoyed our stay at Nikki’s apartment very much. The space is very clean, inviting and had all the amenities listed on the description. The photos are accurate and reflect the second floor apartment well. We like to cook a few meals while traveling and found all the pots, pans and utensils we needed in the kitchen. New appliances are also available. It is located in a peaceful, quiet and safe neighborhood. Nikki and her husband were friendly and available if needed. Would definitely consider returning again.

We had an amazing stay. The area is laid back and had all the amenities you could need. The room was very clean and exactly as advertised. The hosts were very friendly and the guide for the area they made helped us to make the most of our trip.

Carrie's place was perfect for a long weekend away for two! Loved the space, the king size bed, the welcome snacks, and most importantly, the proximity to the beach!!

We had a great stay at Toes in the Sand. It was even better than pictured. I was originally worried from the photos that maybe you couldn’t see the ocean from the main living floor, but you absolutely can see the ocean from nearly everywhere in the house. It’s lovely. Such a charming house, quiet, beautiful beach, and near enough to groceries, gas, and anything else you’d need. Also, had a great Oceanside dinner at Fish Heads <30 min north! We loved loved loved our stay at Robert and Jan’s place. Jan was an amazing host! She was attentive, detail oriented very helpful. She offered to pick up and deliver our groceries from the local Fiod Lion. She had left us snack and gifts with a handwritten note. We loved the hot tub evenings right under the NC stars. Pool was heated and kids had plenty to do, among the games in the house and outside beach walks. We will definitely will be back to her place next time to visit the NC OBX.

This was our second year at Serene Retreat. It’s just such a wonderful place for young children to enjoy the beach. The fenced in yard is great for their outdoor play. We enjoy cooking in the fabulous kitchen and feasting at the table with a view. Better than any restaurant around! Thank you again.

Great house for my family of 3. Very comfortable beds and lots of thoughtful little extras (spices, full complement of kitchen utensils, et.). We really enjoyed our stay here and the host was super responsive and friendly!

Mark and Paul's place is beautiful. it is unfortunate that one of the properties across the road is in rough shape, but all other nearby properties are in excellent condition. The yard overlooking the canal is gorgeous. Do note that as with most properties in OBX, a flight of stairs is necessary to enter the house. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and the bedrooms are extremely comfortable. Everything was spotless. We, unfortunately had rain, much of the time we were there, but did enjoy the exploring we could do. Absolutely recommend Sunrise Seafood, the fresh shrimp, crab cakes and swordfish were fabulous! Froggy Dog, ok, but not spectacular. We did enjoy Oceanas Bistro...especially the fresh tuna griller! Mark and Paul are not new to Air BNB and their attention to detail shows.

Our stay was great. Ma was very helpful and responsive and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we need. The house was great, right on the water, very peaceful yet walkable to town.

This place was amazing! The house is in a beautiful area and the had everything we needed. We loved being close to town and being on the private beach. We will definitely be back!

This place were everything we hoped for and more. The house was very clean, well decorated, and well supplied with all cooking utensils and anything else you might need. It even had a good selection of spices and seasonings to use for cooking. The space under the house was a great hangout area for kids and adults alike. The view of the sound was amazing and the dock was great. The kayaks and paddle board were a very cool plus. Overall a five star experience and and we hope to come back next year!

Spent a wonderful girl’s trip in this condo and enjoyed every second. Beautiful, clean space, easy beach accesses, and walkable to my favorite restaurants. This was the perfect place to stay to introduce my friends to OBX for the first time. Would absolutely stay again!

This condo was perfect for our family of four. My husband and I were traveling with our preteen children for a out of school summer escape. Our daughte slept in the other bedroom and our soon slept in the pull out coach. Once in a while one of them slept in the pull out bed because they were scared located in the master bedroom. We loved how close we were to the beach and all the beach toys that were provided in the condo. Just a cutel little condo that was nice and cozy and relaxing to come back to after exploring.

The condo was very charming with new appointments and has a beautiful view of the ocean. We enjoyed sunrise each morning and the sound of the waves crashing each night. The kitchen was well equipped and had sufficient space for the two of us. It was also nice to have both a full and half bath as well as a door between the sink area and toilet/shower in the full bath. Having several options for coffee with espresso, drip, and a Keurig was a big plus A few observations we want to share. It would be very tight to fit 6 people in the place but you could comfortably have two couples or a couple with two kids with the second pair on the sleeper sofa. Overall it was a great stay for our anniversary weekend!!!

Beautiful condo with an outstanding view of the ocean. The unit was clean, well maintained and the hosts were very responsive. We had a great experience!

Incredible location and views (of sunrises and sunsets); great for kids! There was a problem with the storm door that Katie herself came by to fix when maintenance was unavailable on a holiday weekend :) The place was clean, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the pool was great (opening weekend and very clean). The only thing to note is that this might not be a great place for you if you're sensitive to noise - there was a wedding at one of the huge houses one night under a tent and we could hear every song they played, as well as footsteps from the people staying above us. This isn't a make or break for us, and we would stay at Katie's place again in a heartbeat.

All instructions were clear and we were even notified that we could check in early which was a bonus. The condo was clean and well furnished. The bed was very comfortable. The location is wonderful. Within easy walking distance to the beach, to shopping and dining and to the Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum. And the boardwalk through the marsh is especially nice. We will definitely be returning!

It was our first time to the Outer Banks and we loved it! Our stay at the condo was great. It was quiet and clean and kitchen was nicely stocked with items for cooking. It is a very close distance to the beach which was convenient. We brought our bikes and biked almost everywhere. The condo is definitely located within walkable distance to restaurants and other places.

Wonderful stay. The place was as described. Bathrooms updated. Place was extremely clean. All mentioned amenities were available. Elevator not working due to storm previous week. Not fault of owners. 3 flights of stairs doable with wide steps. View was incredible from balcony and main bedroom. Pool clean. Beach access steps away. Close to restaurants and grocery stores. Nice to have plenty of bath towels. Laundry facilities helpful. Total cost $3 in quarters for both wash and dry. Excellent stay. Kim was extremely responsive. Looking forward to returning.
