House holiday rentals in Hat Head

We had a lovely stay in Greybox in SWR over q long weekend with the grandkids. The house is really lovely with beautiful breezeway living. The kitchen is well appointed so a gourmet cook could probably cook up a storm (we didn't...). The pool was lovely for the little ones. After all the rain in early 2025, the mozzies were out in force, but they were everywhere, not just here. We'll likely return in due course.

Beautiful home, everything in the kitchen that you needed. Pool was clean and fun. Black cockatoos flying over every morning was an absolute treat! Plenty of space in house for kids and I. Hosts were excellent. Would absolutely come back here again!! Thanks Mark for having my tribe stay.

It is an absolute fantastic place. Very peaceful with great views. Feels like heaven on earth. The inside of the house is very clean, spacious and has everything that you would need. Bev is a very nice and friendly host and it was an absolute delight talking to her. My husband and I and also our two dogs loved it so much that we will definitely come back here whenever we can. It was one of the best places that we have been to. From the check in until it was time to leave everything was perfect. We would highly recommend this beautiful place to anyone. I guess the the only part that we didn't like was leaving 😞. Many thanks Bev until next time 😊

Lorraine was very welcoming , made us all feel at ease straight away. He home was immaculate and rooms bigger than the photos . Highly recommended if you need a stay in the area 👌

We had a wonderful time staying here… the amenities were great and the property looks exactly like the pictures. It’s only a short walk to the local beach and everything we needed was within a 15 min drive away. The hosts were amazing and responded quickly with any questions we had.

This house was truly awesome! We stayed for a work trip and it was the most peaceful place to come back to after our long work days. Wish we could have stayed to enjoy it more! The views surrounding the property are unlike most I’ve ever seen. If you’re into cooking, the kitchen was one of the best stocked kitchens I’ve ever seen!! Thanks so much Skye, we’d love to stay again!

We had such a lovely time at Moonie’s! The accommodation was perfect in every way. As soon as you walk in, you feel immediately calm and at peace. The creek is absolutely stunning, full of wildlife and the kayak was so fun for the kids. Two days were not enough! Our hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful, even cooking us two delicious curries. They couldn’t have been more wonderful and accomodating. We will be back!

Place was great, had everything we needed for a family holiday. Very special sitting on that deck watching the waves roll in. Quick access down to the beach for a surf or a fish. Thanks again.

10/10 would recommend to stay at Collombatti cottage! Kelly was a great host and let us check in early. She was very responsive to our requests and even bought down more fire wood for us. Our 2 dachshunds had the time of their lives running the paddocks. We enjoyed feeding the cows and relaxing it was so peaceful! Everything was perfect, had everything we needed with nice little touches. We will definitely be back! Thanks Kelly & Duncan!

A charming home to stay at, offering privacy and nestled among stunning bushland with a lovely variety of native birds around including our favourite black cockatoos! The beds are comfortable, and the house is immaculate, equipped with most things we needed for our stay. We just needed to get firewood for our June visit as it was a bit cool during that time. Hosts are great and very helpful. House was easy to find and a short drive to Coffs Harbour and surrounding areas, gorgeous spot to visit!

Super clean, well designed cottage and what a peaceful night sleep with such a quiet street. Would highly recommend and go back when in the area!

We had an amazing stay at Rosemont! Donna and Nielson were incredibly kind and welcoming—Nielson even helped us build a fire despite the occasional rain. We got to meet Breezy and the other horses, and I even had the chance to pet them, which was such a special experience. The setting was absolutely beautiful, and we were lucky enough to see a stunning double rainbow during our stay. The only thing that could have made it better would have been clear skies for stargazing. We're already looking forward to coming back—hopefully with no rain next time!

The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds was incredibly cozy, the kitchen was fully stocked, and there were thoughtful touches throughout the space that made it feel like home. The host was communicative, friendly, and made check-in a breeze. They provided great local recommendations and were quick to respond to any questions we had. The location was ideal—quiet and peaceful, yet close to everything we wanted to see and do. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing and hassle-free stay.

We had a perfect stay in Finbarr’s beautiful Bellingen home. The space was warm, inviting, and thoughtfully set up - especially loved using the fireplace in the evening. A great spot to unwind and enjoy everything the area has to offer. Highly recommend!

Janetta's house was extremely comfortable with lots of space, facilities and lots of little extras. We really enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it to all.

This was our second time staying here & we love it ! Great size house, and the fence is a great new addition to keep the kids in ! Lots of space inside & outside for the kids to play. Easy stroll to the shops. We will definitely book again!

Our stay at alli and Isaac’s river cottage was nothing short of amazing. The attention to detail and atmosphere of the house is just absolutely stunning , their communication was top tier. It’s 5/5 stars for absolutely everything about this place and the hosts. Thank you again guys

We stayed at Wendy’s for our gals weekend and honestly… it was pure magic. The house was everything a perfect cozy home should be — and then some. Every detail was so thoughtfully done, it felt like walking into a warm hug. The space catered to our sister tribe like it was made just for us. The land was beyond anything we expected — lush, peaceful, and filled with fairy energy. The creek felt like a little slice of heaven… we spent hours there soaking up the beauty and grounding ourselves in nature. Wendy herself is an absolute gem. So helpful, warm, and welcoming — you can tell she genuinely cares. We already know we’ll be back for more gals weekends here. 10000% recommend if you’re after comfort, connection, and a little bit of magic.

We absolutely had the best time here. The property is beyond amazing. The best sunset ever! So much to do, from fishing, crabbing, riding bike around and enjoying the fire at night. Neil is super friendly! Even gave us mud crab that he freshly caught! Communication is amazing! Gayle is super fast at responding. We will be coming back here for sure. Thank you so much

Our whole family enjoyed the stay at the Red Shed. The space was cosy, welcoming and clean. The welcome hamper was lovely, including homemade bread & biscuits as well as some lovely local products and Meredith’s goats milk soaps! The surrounds were beautiful, very pretty views from the living space. Meredith was a great communicator, very friendly and accomodating. She was generous in taking our children around for morning farm duties and introducing them to their beautiful Border Collie puppies. Feeding the animals was a highlight as well as walking around the beautiful property.
