House holiday rentals in Harrogate

This was our second time at Phils, first time to celebrate my 70th second time for my husbands 75th. When I asked my family where they wanted to celebrate my husbands 75th birthday it was Phils place. Its perfect for our multi-generational family, amples of space and the pool and hot tub are the icing on the cake. We all had the best time and we made lots of memories. Thank you Phil for the use of your lovely home.

The house is amazing! It goes on forever and the rooms are huge and decorated beautifully. Really quiet, peaceful location with wonderful views. We only stayed for one night so didn’t really get the opportunity to make the most of the house - would definitely recommend for a family gathering or celebrating with friends.

Wow! This place was above expectations, absolutely beautiful cottage and facilities. The cottage itself is so spacious and finished to a very high standard, spotlessly clean. The grounds and facilities on offer are superb. The location is stunning and perfect base for exploring the surrounding areas, so many places to visit. We’re already planning our next stay, thank you for a perfect stay!

Lovely stay over the New Year period. Great location with just a short walk into Pocklingto where there are lots of places to eat and drink. Would recommend.

Beautiful property in a gorgeous location. Angela Louise had added personal touches and had really thought about what we might need during our stay. Had a wonderful break.

Lovely stay, the farm was beautiful and the animal feeding was the highlight of our childrens’ stay. Pool was great, super clean everywhere, and they provided maps of local walks which we utilised too. Couldn’t have asked for much more.

Myself, 9 others and 1 small dog booked on of Sue's fantastic cottages for a reunion weekend. Sue was very easy to communicate with, gave us the guidebook ahead of time virtually for any queries (we were very interested in the pizza oven and games room) Facilties were excellent, we were lucky that no other cottages on the site (only 3 others) were in use during our stay, so had free roam of the site and facilties. The local recommendations were brilliant. We went to the old black bull down the road for dinner on the first night and then again for roast dinner on Sunday - mega The house itself is just as shown in the photos, more than comfortable to sleep and house 10 of us for the weekend. Special mention to the hottub, (which is private for your house and I believe comes with all houses) and to Paul who was more than helpful coming to our rescue and reviving out pizza night when we experienced some issues with the oven. 10/10 would go again.

Really lovely house with great amenities. Bedrooms all beautiful & all with en suites . Ideal for a larger group of friends. Easy , short walk into Harrogate centre with all the restaurants & bars . Would definitely book again if I am planning another visit

We had a lovely few days at Amanda's, it's a beautiful bungalow in a wonderfully peaceful setting! We enjoyed seeing deer, lots of birds, and a very friendly cat! You can tell Amanda is a very experienced host, everything was pristine, and she provided a generous welcome basket. You are a short drive from many places of interest and villages so the location is very good too.

The house was super cosy and the location is brilliant! The town is just a stone’s throw away, so we could walk everywhere. The road the house is on is quite busy with cars parked on both sides, but we never had any trouble finding a parking spot. Tomm has been incredibly quick to respond to any message, making us feel confident that we could reach out to him if we had any issues.

Went to Harrogate for my brother’s wedding! Great house in a great location! Very well equipped and the Host left everything we could have possibly needed! The house is a great location! Would love to stay again!

What an amazing place to stay. Cannot speak highly enough of the entire experience. Beautiful home, and a lovely peaceful location, but not too far from main roads for day trips out. Lovely country lanes to walk the dog and not too far to get a park and ride into York for the day. The accommodation was spotless, and so beautiful, and had all the amenities you needed. We loved sitting on the sofa, watching out over the wildlife in the field. We wished we had booked to stay for longer as soon as we walked in! Great communication with the hosts. We really can’t wait to come back. Can’t recommend this stay enough! Thank you!!

Courtyard Cottage is a tastefully decorated and very well presented cottage. If I had to describe it in one word that word would be "charming" partly because of the courtyard garden lovingly tended by Robert & his wife. Visitors should be aware that it is small but I quickly realised that this would only have been a problem if I had been planning on staying several weeks - I only stayed 5 nights. The big plus with the cottage is to be located slap bang in the middle of one of the most attractive and historic market towns in the region at a cost lower than a hotel. Knaresborough is ideal for visiting Ripon, Leeds, York (including Castle Howard), Fountains Abbey - and I even managed the Yorkshire Sculpture Park in under an hour each way. Robert is helpful and attentive without being at all intrusive. 5 stars all round.

The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. Tracy was really good at responding and nothing too much trouble. She had left some bits for us as we were late checking in which we had notified in advance. Great place to be. Thank you.

Wow what a wonderful stay! We loved everything about it and enjoyed every second of being here. A lot of love and care was put in to making this a beautiful, spotlessly clean, home away from home. It was perfect for our girls weekend away. Plenty of space and a massive sofa for our film night. We even got a friendly visit and happy doggy fuss from ted (who we all wanted to take home). Thank you for having us, the pubs were a great suggestion for food on the way up and we even managed a few afternoon drinks at the Millbank (highly recommend for anyone visiting too) super friendly and the village is beautiful for little walk around. Cannot recommend enough! A must visit!

Absolutely beautiful house with everything you need & a brilliant location - couldn’t ask for more!

If you get chance this picturesque cottage just a short walk from Knaresborough centre is well worth the stay. My husband and I enjoyed a cosy evening by the log fire here, The living room is stunning. The cottage is well equipped and spotlessly clean. I would definitely book here again. Many thanks to the host for a wonderful stay.

Very spacious, comfortable and clean, with a generous selection of toiletries and super quick response when we had problems with the lock (tip: don’t keep trying if it doesn’t open. Stop and watch the video again!). It’s an easy walk downhill into town, but there’s a good Sainsbury’s Local a few mins away and a range of cafes and restaurants just round the corner.

Bella’s place is a perfect place if you want to see Harrogate - so close yet so quiet and peaceful. Walking distance to everything you need. The house itself is stunning, super clean and thanks to the furnishings and extras feels really luxurious. It smells incredible and has lovely touches like treats waiting for us, higher end handwashes and bed linen. The bed was so comfortable and I had the best nights sleep. Would definitely visit again.

Thank you Denis! This was a great stay. It was particularly good for my brother who has mobility issues. The shop being just across the road was a real bonus to get some gorgeous roses for our relations who we were visiting. The beds were super comfy and I slept the best I had slept for weeks. jo was so helpful and kind. responded to message quick and was very flexible. she when above and beyond with everything. even to help charge the date as I booked the wrong date. jo was a perfect host and could not ask for any more. jo was happy to answer any questions and even offered recommendations for local restaurant. the hole experience was amazing. I would highly recommend staying with jo. 10/10
