Sarah's place was ABSOLUTLY PERFECT!! This was a lady's trip. The house was MUCH bigger than it looks in the pics. It was nice and close to Edinburg Burgess' Electric Bike Tours for biking the wineries. It was only 40 min to the Shenandoah River Outfitters, for a relaxing kayak down the river. FABULOUS AIRBNB location! Beautiful morning walks around the farm/pond! The view from this house cannot be beat. The house was clean and WELL STOCKED! I will be back with my husband and friends! Thank you Sarah and Sue!

This is the perfect place to get away. Madeline was fantastic about messaging us and letting us know what to expect, things to do, and info about the house. She also is one of the most thoughtful host we’ve encountered. The space was perfect for what we were looking for. Comfortable bed, stocked with essentials, looked just like the photos, and had some extras we were not expecting. The road to the cabin is steep and unpacked, but Madeline let us know about before we arrived so we knew what to expect. We were so grateful that we could bring the dogs with us. The location is perfect if you want a quiet getaway. It was about an hour away from Luray and the Shenandoah NP entrances.

Great mini-vacation. Wish we had more time!!! We loved the hot tub, pool and seclusion. Our dogs loved the place too; they felt at home and welcomed. Fresh Eggs from their chickens were a delicious addition. Hosts were always available if needed. Will definitely be returning to this hideaway.

The home and location were absolutely beautiful. We stayed for a full month while waiting to close on our new house, and Jennifer couldn’t have been more kind, responsive, or accommodating. The beds were very comfortable, and the house was tidy and smelled wonderful. We especially enjoyed the koi pond outside, and our little boy had a blast playing in the yard. There’s a great local brewery, an ice cream shop, a gas station, and a restaurant just down the road. All in all, our stay couldn’t have gone any better, and we’re so grateful for Jennifer’s warm hospitality.

My husband and I stayed here with our 5 children and my parents. The layout was perfect- grandparents had the upstairs suite and we had the other suite on the main floor. The pool and hot tub were clean. Fire pit was stocked with firewood. The surroundings were beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Both covered decks were clean and welcoming. The kitchen had all the essentials plus plenty of coffee! The basement game area was perfect for the rainy times when we couldn't get outdoors. The bedrooms were comfortable. Bathrooms clean. Overall, the house was cozy, clean and better than the pictures.

Wonderful home for our family gathering! There were plenty of dishes; glasses; mugs; pots & pans; trays/cookie sheets; utensils, no need to even bring salt, pepper or any spices because it’s all in this beautiful home. Host was a speedy responder.

My family had the best time. We spent Easter weekend, took a day trip to hike at Shenandoah (and visit the Luray caverns). The trail heads we went to were between 1 and 1.5 hours away. We also hiked Big Schloss in George Washington state park (about 20 min to the trail head). The location was peaceful and private. Everything met or exceeded expectations. We had a great time as a family playing pool and games and enjoying the view. We had everything we needed to make meals, and restaurants and grocery stores are about 10 min away. The hosts were great with communication and gave us recommendations when we asked. We would definitely return.

Took a relaxing week long vacation in the mountains to hike, sit by the fire, and chill. It was exactly what we were looking for. We brought our fur children and they very much enjoyed the hiking that was in the area and the fenced in backyard was huge! Overall, we had an amazing time and we would definitely stay again if we are ever in the area.

The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and even better than the photos!The location was perfect, communication was quick and friendly. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting the area and would definitely stay here again!

We had an absolutely great time with my family and friend. Jillene's place was just as described in the pictures. We had no trouble finding the place. It was spotless clean and beautifully decorated. Jillene's was also very responsive. She was also kind enough to let us checkout late. I highly recommend this beautiful little cabin for a calm family getaway.

This was our first time in West Virginia. And Sherry’s place feels right at home. The gorgeous mountains surrounding the place are stunning and serene. The house has all the basic amenities. We utilized the kitchen (a lot!), and watched TV and played games in the living room. Sherry communicated all the instructions prior to check in. She was also so kind— we arrived late after midnight and she turned on the porch lights for us so we didn’t have trouble finding the house. Would definitely recommend if you’re visiting WV!

Enjoyed our stay! Nice kitchen and beds! Well presented home and outside. Heat and AC worked well and we never had the water run out like it says it might since it’s drawn from the well. Plenty of coffee provided even for 4 adults.

Absolutely Perfect Stay! This place was beyond our expectations! Everything was spotless and incredibly clean — even better than we imagined. The view was stunning, and the home had everything we needed and more. It was way better than the pictures, which rarely happens. The space was open, comfortable, and very well-maintained. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would 100% book again!

This was one of the best Airbnbs I've ever stayed at. Gorgeous space, would love to come back!! Usually the space ends up being smaller than the pictures looked, this was the opposite and the place was bigger than I expected. The many numerous bedrooms were all well sized and equipped. So many INCREDIBLY cozy couches. Many many naps were had. Perfect big social areas but also separate spots. The wraparound porch/deck was a dream!!! Mineral water hot tub, although it didn't go above 99.7 F. The kitchen was the kitchen of my dreams. It was the best stocked kitchen I've ever seen at an airbnb for cutlery, serving dishes, and appliances. <3 My only thing is that the gps did not take you directly there and I was surprised to not see any additional instructions on their check in instructions. But the GPS says you've arrived on the middle of a mountain road with no reception. Luckily our host responded with directions quickly and check in was a breeze after that.

We had such a great time at the Trout Run cabin! The peaceful creek was so nice to listen too while enjoying coffee on the screened in porch, and we loved playing horseshoes and hanging by the fire pit when it got cool at night. We went into town and ate at Mack’s one night and really enjoyed the food and the mission of the restaurant. Recommend reservations in advance though, it was booked at 5pm. We also did glass blowing in town and can’t wait to see what our pieces turn out to look like. You will love how quiet it is here, my whole family slept like logs…. But that was also after we played uno until 1am. Great time for all! Thanks for hosting!!

It was a beautiful house — historic architecture and modern finishes. We traveled with young children and senior citizens, and it was clean, comfortable, and had everything we could have wished for in an accommodation. Host was prompt in all communication. Offered early check in and later check out, which was super helpful. Would highly recommend.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Stickley Hall - such a beautiful historic home. We booked last minute and appreciated the location in the shadow of Shenandoah National Park. Erin kindly reached out as soon as I booked in case I had any questions. Upon arrival, we were greeted by lots of brand new games, coloring books, and toys for our kids in tow. What a treat for them and we were so grateful for such helpful distractions as we got settled in. In addition to lots of fruit and soft drinks in the fridge, everything was in tip top shape! We had a minor issue when we first arrived with the Wi-Fi and Erin was immediately responsive and had it fixed within minutes. We can’t say enough great things about this property and would love to come back sometime soon!

Excellent house for a single night stay when just passing through or multiple nights for family lodging. Loved the bedrooms on first and second floor for privacy. Also the social spaces are roomy both inside and outside.

Loved the house! So roomy and lots of character. Everything we needed. Plenty of towels and comfy beds. Will stay here again when in the area!
