One of the very best places we’ve stayed. Erica’s place was charming and warm. The easiest check-in I’ve ever had, plenty of suggestions about things to do and places to eat nearby, and everything you could possibly need in the cabin. We loved everything about it and would choose this place again any time we got the chance. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Our family had a great time at Fern Way! We had 5 teen/young adults and 3 older adults in our group. The house is conveniently located close to Long Pond for swimming and boating, and within easy driving distance of Acadia and downtown Bar Harbor. The kitchen is very nicely equipped with every kind of cooking utensil and pan you can imagine. The house is attractive and comfortably furnished. We’re so happy we planned our vacation there!

We had a very relaxing vacation. Verona Island is convenient for day trips to a number of attractions like Acadia, Camden and even Monhegan Island. Even when the weather was bad there was plenty of table space for puzzling, Bananagrams and Scrabble. The house was comfortable with views of the Penobscot River.

Even though we didn't make it up to the Looney Lodge, Shelly was incredibly helpful and kind through the entire process. Reminds you there are good people still in the world! Will be back in January!

This was such a delightful, peaceful & beautiful place to stay. Shelby was extremely responsive & helpful. I appreciated that she went the extra mile to alert me to the Aurora Borealis & encourage me to see it from the point. When the power went out b/c of a local car accident, she kept me updated with information about cause & when power was expected to return & provided flashlights & a special battery powered lightbulb to provide light. I couldn't have asked for more!

Great stay for our family of 5 adults and 3 toddlers! Lots to do and great proximity to Acadia/Bar Harbor. House was well supplied with clear instructions. Brady also connected with us before the stay and kept in touch for anything that came up as a concern. Thank you!

My husband and I spent a wonderful week at Judith’s cottage in Deer Isle. Judith, her partner Linda, and Kate (Linda's daughter) were incredibly welcoming—always kind, helpful, and full of great recommendations about the area, from hiking trails and restaurants to local shops and the island’s fascinating history. We truly enjoyed our conversations with them, and they were also very respectful of our privacy. The cottage is rustic but cozy and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The Wi-Fi worked well, and the garden and views of the cove were beautiful. It’s also a great location for exploring Deer Isle, the Blue Hill Peninsula, and even Acadia National Park. We’re grateful for the hospitality and would gladly return!

Aaron's place was fantastic for our party of 6 (my partner and me, our kids, her parents). The house was located perfectly on the North end of Mt. Desert Island by Hadley Point Beach (where we were lucky to catch both a meteor shower and the Northern Lights.) While the lower level had a separate entrance, the kids appreciated the additional privacy/area away from adults. The entire house was clean and the beds were very comfortable. All of the amenities (well stocked kitchen, two bathrooms, washer/dryer, patio) were much appreciated. We'd definitely stay again when visiting Acadia.

We loved staying a short drive away from Bar Harbor and central the the sites and hikes in Acadia National Park.

This was a great spot located near Bar Harbor and Acadia. We split our time between both and enjoyed a peaceful cabin stay at night.

We HiGHLY recommend Katy’s Seaside Cottage. It is a cozy, bright home away from home. Great location for hiking, nature, and ocean views. You can see the ocean from the property! I’m a sensitive sleeper and it was super quiet at night for sleeping and quiet during the day. Great kitchen full of everything you need to cook at home. Strong WiFi. I taught an online class no problem. Would definitely visit again.

As our last stay everything was very accommodating and comfortable. Great music, books, art and an expansive beautiful landscape. The stars at night are beyond amazing. Highly recommended.

Kevin and Donna’s place was very clean and comfortable. It is just a short drive from downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia national park. Watching the geese and ducks in the beautiful backyard each morning was a bonus. Kevin and Donna are responsive and friendly.

Nice little home near Acadia. It's about a 35-40 minute drive to Bar Harbor / the visitor's center. Comfortable beds, ample kitchen, good amount of space - this is a nice retreat after a long day in the park. The beach access is a nice bonus as well.

Wow, what an awesome stay! Hadley Point Hideaway lived up to the description and more. The space was clean and a perfect layout for our family of 4. The loft is such a fun space for children of all ages. Sara and Davin (and their daughter) were incredible hosts. They were very welcoming and provided so much great information and guidance on what to see and do in Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Nora (their dog) was so sweet. Our daughter loved playing with her. We highly recommend staying at Hadley Point Hideaway....there is so much to love about this place!

We had a wonderful stay at Ruddy's place. Ruddy and the caretaker were both very responsive and helpful. The home was comfortable, neighborhood quiet, and the location was perfect. Many restaurants, some shopping, and parks were a short walk away. Bar Harbor is absolutely beautiful, and we had a wonderful week there hiking, exploring, and enjoying the gorgeous views.

Eric‘s place was located in the woods. It was very nice communication with Eric was great. Great place to stay if you’re visiting Bar Harbor.

The pictures don’t do it justice! This cabin has it all, and Bethany was a great host. I would recommend this place to anyone, and I would stay here again.

Tim was an awesome host. My family had enough room to spread out. The grandkids 6 to 12 years of age were well entertained as were the adults. The house had everything needed for full week of our family vacation. Will be back again. Cathy Burke Bevis

Ann's place was a great stay, especially because my wife and I are more into hiking than walking around Bar Harbor. Not that doing the latter was at all difficult. Bar Harbor is a focal point for those into restaurants and shopping, and it isn't a difficult drive from the cottage (maybe 15 min or so). Ann's place is centrally located in Mt. Desert near several trailheads. The Parkman Mountain trailhead and access point for the carriage road is only about a mile down the road. The start of a scenic drive along Some Sound that leads to Northeast Harbor is even closer. The central location of the cottage also makes it easy to get to the "Quiet Side" of Mt. Desert. Our 7-night stay wasn't enough to see everything we wanted, so we may come back someday. If we do, we would love to stay here again.
