Lynn's place was perfect in every way! First, it was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Having items like a cooler and chairs to use was so helpful. Second, Lynn is a kind, communicative, and thoughtful host. Finally, the location is perfect for exploring the entire island. One of my favorite AirBNBs, I would happily return!

Our stay at Binna Burra has been simply amazing! Carol is funny and friendly and she made us feel at home form the first moment. The suite is an incredible space surrounded by nature, with wild animals walkin around and the best atmosphere for chilling and reconnect with nature. At night you can have a fully starred sky and breath the pure air of Maine. Really one of the best vacation I've ever had.

A beautiful location on an old farm property in one of the prettiest parts of Maine. Carol and Richard were extremely responsive and are clearly committed to ensuring that their guests feel welcome. Locations like this are Air B&B at its best—interesting and generous hosts sharing their own corner of the world.

Staying at the Lighthouse made us wish we could frame moments in time to take along with us. Our two day stay was lovely and cozy and everything a New England Inn should be :-)

Good value, host was good at communicating. Room fluctuates in temperature a lot and can get stuffy. We were provided with a fan and a heater though. While I do believe the towels and other fabrics were washed, they had a leftover smell. Overall good place and nice amenities. Great location.

I had such a great time at Steve's place. I felt right at home. The room was nice warm, brightly lit and enough privacy. Plenty of sunlight. Steve's morning breakfast along with coffee was always great start for me every day. I am not used to having breakfast every day at home but here I was somehow looking for that breakfast. This place was very close to ocean and you can walk up to the jetty. The Schoodic peninsula was on one side and the Mt Desert Island was another side. I drove to these locations. They are a easy drive. I enjoyed the hospitality of Steve and Barbara. They are extremely kind and generous people. You will enjoy staying with them. I will stay here only if I visit Acadia again. Thanks Steve and Barbara.

We loved our room and peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Getting up every morning surrounded by trees and birds chirping. Heather was the perfect host and we absolutely loved all her recommendations, especially our Acadia tour guide Rich. Don’t hesitate book this place!!!

This stay far exceeded our expectations! The hospitality from Chris was unmatched and his home is beautiful! He met us on arrival, gave us a grand tour , and made us feel very welcome! The kitchen had everything needed and more, the fireplace cozy, bathroom spa-like, beds and linens comfortable, everything was great! Chris was very communicative and gave great recommendations of things to see. There was a nice assortment of breakfast items, fruit, a bottle of wine, and a great coffee bar! It felt like we were visiting friends or family! We rarely saw our housemates, but when we did they were lovely too and there was plenty of room in our shared spaces. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and hope to come back ourselves!

If you're traveling alone and looking for a cozy place to stay that's near Acadia and Bar Harbor, this is the place for you. It's private and peaceful, yet convenient to everything. The views across the street are amazing. (The pictures don't do it justice.) The hosts were communicative without being intrusive. I really can't recommend this place enough. A private entrance, off street parking, full kitchen, tons of books... What more can you ask for? I look forward to staying there again on my next trip to the area!

This is an amazing retreat from the crowds, but minutes to everything Acadia has to offer. The home is immaculate, looks exactly like the photos and is well equipped (be sure to note this is a kitchenette) with everything we needed. The decks are lovely, you're totally surrounded by the forest. Inside note the beautiful art gallery hallway and an amazing library collection on the shelves. We were very comfortable, and hosts were great---helpful when asked, but never intrusive. We would definitely stay here again if given the opportunity!

This place is better than the pictures! It’s such a cozy, well laid out space perfect for a couple and their pup. Plus there are so many thoughtful touches for humans and dogs alike ❤️. You have a full kitchen, living space, outdoor nook and grill, and A LOT of closet space off the king bed. The bathroom is very nice, but it has a Euro shower - very tight space but decent shelving for soap. You’re a mile walk to town with a slight hill, very nice walk. There aren’t sidewalks for most of it until you reach town but drivers are very cautious seeing as there are hikers everywhere. There are a few trails right behind the house which was so great to just walk across the street and hop on a hike! You wouldn’t know that you’re above a garage, the space feels so cozy and the hosts are very considerate about using the garage when visitors are there. A truly great find for a splendid trip in Acadia!

We love the location!! So close to Acadia National Park. We also loved the old feel of the house and the furniture that complemented that feel! David and Carol were great hosts, very responsive!! One thing that I think would be great would be if there was cream (liquid or powder) for coffee.

We (three adults) had a quaint and wonderful 5-star stay. Hosts were very responsive. Loved the convenience to Acadia NP and Bar Harbor. Had all that we needed in the kitchen, bedrooms, and bath. Meeting their two sweet dogs was a bonus. Highly recommend staying here.

We stay at Kelly's 2-3 times a year at this point as a family of 4. Fantastic host. It's become a home away from home while travelling for work.

My husband and I loved our stay at Drift Away Studio. It was the perfect home base for the Acadia Half Marathon and exploring Acadia National Park. It was the cleanest Air BnB I’ve ever stayed in. The studio is in a nice, quiet neighborhood within walking distance to a few shops and restaurants. Lesley and Basil even left us each a can of Moxie to try! I appreciated that Lesley provided a nice booklet of helpful info including personal recommendations of hikes and restaurants. Even though the kitchen doesn’t have a stove, you can still cook up a quick breakfast or lunch with the tools provided (electric skillet, toaster, microwave, crock pot, dual coffee/Keurig). I would definitely stay here again if ever in the area.
