House holiday rentals in Hamurana

I would like to say that Rose & Wal were very welcoming, especially after a very long drive from Taranaki to Tauranga due to an unfortunate crash on the Awakino gorge. Everything was really cleaned and fresh. Next time i would like to bring my family and spend a good couple of days to enjoy the beautiful city more. Thanks again Rose and Wal.

We had another great stay at this resort. We have stayed in other places managed by Nerida before. This three bedder is maybe getting a little tired decor wise… so just now that it is a Kiwi bach experience that your getting in a great location. Will definitely be keen to come again.

Fantastic accommodation and hosts. The house is lovely and well equipped. The back deck and pool area is amazing. Very secluded. The hosts were also very helpful at returning a couple of items left behind. Top accommodation.

What a beautiful home for a family getaway! It surpassed our expectations, and they were high. Sarah and Darren have thought of absolutely everything and it is all top quality and so comfortable. One of my aunties marvelled that her bed was so good, she woke up without the usual aches and pains. Located just up the road from the redwood forest and tree walk, and only a few minutes from town, yet private and quiet, it was a perfect escape. Now we want to stay again during summer to make the absolute most of the fabulous pool and outdoor areas. Highly recommend!

Quirky fun layout. Very practical & roomy enough for 9 guests. The kids loved that the pool was available even though it was Easter weekend. Roszarri was very helpful and welcoming.

Very much enjoyed our stay. The views were amazing from every corner of the house. The kids really enjoyed the pool/trampoline. Great location for Golf enthusiasts or just down the road from a Mountain Bike trail/hike. Highly recommend for large groups. Tatiana is very friendly and easy to communicate with.

Catherine's place exceeded all expectations. The space itself was incredibly roomy, making it perfect for relaxing, spending time with others, or just enjoying some quiet downtime. There were plenty of things to do, which kept everyone entertained throughout the stay—whether it was exploring the surroundings or enjoying the pool, reading books and playing the piano. What really stood out, though, was Catherine's hospitality. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, leaving a handwritten note and some thoughtful snacks for us to enjoy upon arrival. It's those personal touches that really make a difference and show how much she cares about her guests’ experience. Everything about the stay was smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable. I honestly can’t think of a single downside. I’d wholeheartedly recommend Catherine’s place to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-hosted getaway.

Amazing place. Definitely the best airbnb we had on our 3 week NZ trip. Very private, nature all around which can be enjoyed thanks to the big windows. Well equipped kitchen, super clean. Can highly recommended!!!

Buddy and Rachel’s place is such a cute wee spot - elevated bach vibes is the best way to describe! Very well appointed and great location, being a quick drive outside of Rotorua central yet close to amenities and some neat cafes. Enjoyed a chill spa under beautiful stars every evening - great way to celebrate a birthday and Matariki. Thank you for having us! 😻

We only stayed one night as we had an event to attend, but we felt relaxed as soon as we entered this lovely clean home. Everything was clean and sparkling, the beds were comfortable, all linens high quality and the rural setting was gorgeous. Highly recommend this rental for anyone wanting to stay in the area and I hope to stay again when we are next looking for accomodation in Rotorua/Ngongotaha. Had a great stay at Geoff and Akiko’s place. Place is exactly as described and super clean. Has an excellent view of the lake and surrounding farm land. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

A warm and cozy home-away-from-home. Bob was very responsive and helpful, even providing extra information about local events during the Matariki long weekend. Highly recommended!

The house was beautiful and the location was perfect. Close to all the activities

Loved this place, From the moment we arrived it felt like home, beautiful welcome letter and refreshments. We didn't arrive till around midnight and they put the heat pump on for us. The house was clean and plenty of board games which was awesome as there was a local power cut, didn't bother us at all. Had everything we needed even toothbrushes which was great because the kids forgot theirs. We wish we would've come in summer to use the awesome bbq. It's a great location being out of Rotorua but not too far. Nice and quiet area. Nathan and Ashlyn are great hosts, were very accomodating and always there if we needed anything. We would recommend this home to families visiting as the yards are fully fenced as-well which is great for the little ones.

We LOVED staying here! The view was something else. The house was super warm. All amenities were clean and the house was cosy. This was only a short drive to the Redwoods. Melanie was really responsive and we really enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic place really beautifull loved our stay wished we could have stayed longer. Really handy for Tauranga Mount Maunganui and Kaimai's. Absolutely recommend if you in the area and looking for a comfortable home from home experience in a lovely peacefull setting

Beautiful stay with Faith! Very cosy and comfortable accommodation for our 2 nights there. It was near everywhere we wanted to go (Redwood forest, hell's gate, te puia, town for groceries and souvenier shopping) in a very nice quiet location. Bed was so comfy we had a very good sleep after driving around. Faith was also very friendly and we had a good chat with her. She even gave us recommdations on what we should do and told us where to go for a beautiful sunrise. One of us left the charger in the unit and she post it out for us. Super helpful and much appreciated! Thanks for making our stay memorable. We wish you all the very best!

Enjoyed every moment at the house spacious and clean well maintained.

Everything was absolutley spotless. The house felt so welcoming and we slept so well in the beds. Super comfortable mattresses and beautiful linen. Carpets felt like they were brand new. Anne was so kind and was happy to be there if we needed her. She made our 5 year old daughter feel at home. My daughter loved the presence of the animals on the property and the swings and trampoline were a pleasant surprise for her. We feel like we didn’t have enough time in Rotorua so plan to come back again one day and won’t hesitate to stay here again.
