Holiday rentals with lake access in Hampshire County

Kendra's place was pristinely clean and incredibly easy to use. It's an incredibly peaceful, quiet spot and the house is very comfortable, so we had a very relaxing stay. My son goes to school about a half hour away and we rented the place so he could have quiet time to rest and study for exams in a cozy, comfy, homey atmosphere and that is just what we got! The kitchen is well equipped and we were able to cook everything we wanted. We didn't get a chance to use the grill, but it looked great. Kendra was very responsive and communicative and our stay was totally issue-free so we didn't really need to be in close contact through our stay. The house sleeps lots of people and it could be a fun spot for a big family to have some great family-time or a group of friends to catch up. We would definitely return when we have more time to explore the pretty lake nearby and the surrounding area! Thanks Kendra!

Beautiful and clean space for a cozy cabin weekend with picturesque surroundings! William was very helpful to have the driveway plowed and sanded with the snowstorm during our stay

While the weather was not optimal (sometimes western MA spring is slow to come), we loved the cottage. It is perfect for walking, hiking, reading and other quiet activities. But, you have access easily to Northampton or other local towns for a meal or night out. Debra was easy to reach but not at all intrusive. Check in was smooth. All in all, a lovely experience.

Beautiful location in Otis, right on the lake and so peaceful. The house is very spacious and easily accommodated our family ( 7 adults and 2 children). All the windows in the house provided great views of the lake, especially from the deck. Our host Nick was very responsive when we had questions or any concerns. Would be nice to come for a stay during the summer.

I want to say thank you to Christopher and his family for allowing my friends and me to stay in their home. it was clean, beautiful, serene and exactly what it was described to be. Christopher, your suggestions on golf courses for my friends and me were exceptional. I hope we were as good of guests as you were hosts!

This is a lovely location and beautiful home! Extremely pet friendly, and easily accommodated 3 adults and a dog. Had one minor hiccup to which the host immediately responded and fixed 😁 Highly recommend!

Our family had an AMAZING stay in this cottage. It was clean and comfortable, and just what we were looking for. A quiet spot where we could enjoy fishing, kayaking, biking, etc with the comforts of home. Because of all the amenities offered, we didn’t have to pack too much which is always a bonus! We are already talking about our next visit 😊

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The place was cozy, well-equipped, and perfect for our group. The kids loved the games and toys, and the fireplace made for a great place to relax after skiing. The location, just 15 minutes from Berkshire East, was ideal. That said, winter travelers should be prepared for challenging road conditions. It snowed heavily during our stay, and while private plowing services arrived, it was usually around 11 a.m. If it snows overnight, expect to shovel the large driveway to get the cars out early in the morning. The roads are steep and not always well-plowed, so a four-wheel-drive vehicle, winter tires, or chains are highly recommended. On our last morning, a tree fell out front, blocking the road and knocking out power. These things happen, and it wasn’t the host’s fault, but the remote location means services may be limited. Despite that, we had a wonderful time!

The cottage was easy to check into, clean, and very cozy. It was decorated for the holidays which was perfect for our weekend. We enjoyed the fireplace and the games in the cabin as well! I would consider coming back in the summer to enjoy the outdoor area and lake. Ann-Marie and Carl provided really helpful instructions on how to get to the house.

A great place, exactly as described. Pub at end of drive is convenient and delicious. Absolutely anything we could have possibly needed was thought of and made available. The retro feel made me think of family cabin stays when I was a kid . We played Apple to Apples and put together three puzzles in the evenings, all were provided. Although a quirky older cabin (in a great way), we loved loved loved the character, and it was super clean! Way up in the hills, so natural areas are close and spectacular. Plenty of things to do within a drive, which is a visual treat in itself. Saw black bears twice as we were out and about. Nothing fancy, but for us it was just what we wanted/needed. A unique opportunity to spend time on a beautiful quiet lake in the Berkshires! The home is clean, sports great woodwork, and plenty of room inside, and only bested by the views of the lake, large property with a great lawn, and beautiful woods to walk through. The host was great too. Highly recommend!
