A nice place to stay, about 30 minutes from Amsterdam Centraal where you can visit the most popular attractions

This is a lovely home in a quiet and stunning setting on the water. Great for families with kids. This is a great location to explore the lake from and has lots of amenities available for the guests to keep kids busy. Hosts were so friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home. Highly recommend a stay here.

The apartment is great, but the absolute highlight is the terrace on 3 sides of the house, right on the water. The large glass fronts in the living room provide a view of the water, which makes the apartment special even in cool temperatures. The only downside is that you'd rather not go on an excursion, but just stay in the apartment.

This is a superb AirBNB. full of character and incredibly located, adjacent to bus and train station and a short walk into the centre of the city which is beautiful. Haarlem is a real gem of the Netherland, with only 5 euro, 15 minute train to centre of Amsterdam, don't waste your money there. Pieter is a friendly and responsive host and was very helpful in accomodating our luggages prior to check in. Highly recommended !

One of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed in! It was spotlessly clean (not a speck of dust anywhere!), everything had been thought of (including a welcome bottle of bubbles!), it was spacious, and very convenient for public transport....oh, and stylishly decorated! Being close to the train station meant that we could easily get into central Amsterdam, as well as go on day trips to Rotterdam and Zaanse Schans during our stay. Our favourite day was renting bikes in Zaanse Schans for the day and enjoying cycling through the countryside. Very happily recommend this place to others looking for a base near Amsterdam.

We booked the house because it appealed to us from the reviews. Our expectations were far exceeded. We arrived at a house where we immediately felt at home. In the kitchen there is everything you need for daily use. Everything is very clean and tastefully decorated. Communication with Saskia was possible without any problems. We rented the house with a friendly couple and went home after a week very well recovered. We can recommend the house without hesitation. We would like to come back next autumn. The most perfect little house in Maarssen! Located about 20 minutes via bus/train from Utrecht and 30 minutes from Amsterdam, this gorgeous abode was a piece of heaven after a day of exploring! Upon arrival I was greeted by a few friendly chickens wandering the property and Ewoud, who made me feel right at home with not only great recommendations for Maarssen but helpful incite for bus information/apps and bike rentals. The house itself is so picture perfect cute! Comfy beds, relaxing bathtub, washer/dryer and a lovely outdoor space fitted with patio furniture. Keep in mind the stairs inside are rather steep and spiraling - but I found that it only added to its charm and felt like the bougie treehouse of my childhood dreams (lol). Got a chance to chat with Catelijne and Ewoud a bit on the eve of my departure and they are such wonderful hosts - would 100% recommend and would love to return!

Joost was an amazing host to me and my family! It was the first time that we were traveling abroad with our 11mo son and he made us feel right at home- even had a travel crib set up upon arrival. The location is very convenient - right above a coffee shop which Joost gives vouchers for :) very walkable and overall great space!

Laurent is a fantastic host: helpful, always ready to give great advice about his neighborhood and beyond, and super quick to respond to messages. We asked if we could leave our luggage after check-out so we wouldn’t have to carry it around all day, and he was happy to help. On the first day, he even welcomed us with some snacks and wine, and there’s also coffee and tea available. The house is a typical Dutch home, so the stairs to reach the apartment on the third floor are narrow and steep — a great way to stay in shape! The apartment itself is clean, well-maintained, and tastefully decorated. The little terrace is really lovely . the neighborhood is a great place to stay: full of shops, bars, and restaurants. It’s well connected by public transport (line 4 takes you to the city center and line 3 to the museum district), but you can also reach the center with a 25-minute walk. This was my best experience with Airbnb. I absolutely recommend it.

The tiny house is thoughtfully designed and has everything you’ll need during your stay in Haarlem. Bas was a communicative host and made sure that I felt right at home.

It's one of the best Airbnb's I have stayed in. Mirjam was very sweet and you could tell that it's her passion to make her guests feel welcomed. She went above and beyond our expectations and we would definitely stay here again. Also I cannot not mention the excellent breakfast. It was very filling and thought out. I can't see how you can rate this place anything other that 10/10.

We had a lovely few days at Yvonne’s place, enjoying the beautiful and peaceful countryside from their really excellent apartment. The place was exceptionally clean, comfortable, quiet and fully equipped - perfect for our needs and with the benefit of a lovely outdoor space to enjoy hot days and warm evenings. We would certainly return. Yvonne and Rob were outstanding hosts - friendly, helpful and generous - and we are happy to recommend both them and their apartment.

Kim is very responsive to any communications. Well equips home. Left some items by way of coffee etc to help when you first arrive.

We had a wonderful stay at Bert and Marieke's spacious apartment. We were welcomed by Bert who helped us with our luggage up the stairs and showed us into their well appointed 2 bedroom apartment. We had a great time staying at this place. A nicely furnished and cozy apartment in the center of Alkmaar, in a backyard where the cat greets you every morning. Everything has been thought of and Vincent and Grace are very accommodating and helpful. I recommend this place!

Yafit and Jerry’s apartment was everything we wanted and more! Such a beautiful spot and well equipped. Me and my friend stayed for 3 nights and we thoroughly enjoyed chilling on the outdoor seating area after a long day of sight seeing in Amsterdam. On our first day we explored Zaandam on foot and on the bikes provided at the apartment. We visited nearby Zaanse Schans which was great! The other two days we spent sightseeing in Amsterdam which was easy to reach on the train. We loved our trip and we would happily stay here again!

Jessica and her partner were very proactive and we were greeted the minute we parked the car. They live right next door. The apartment was immaculate and the views are stunning. Also good recommendations for nearby restaurants. Thanks for the hospitality.

My family of four stayed at Max’s place for four nights. The location is great, with just about an hour’s drive to many popular destinations in Holland. The view of the lake from the balcony was beautiful. The apartment was clean and spacious. We truly enjoyed our stay in this quiet and peaceful neighborhood, and we will recommend it to our friends and family if they visit Holland in the future.

Wle spent 4 nights in very clean, cozy apartment, in peaceful canal area. Away from all the noise and traffic but still very walkable. good restaurants nearby. Our host was very friendly and responsive. Great communication. Big bed very comfortable too. Would definitely recommend!

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!

Henri our stay was very nice and the personal touch like ,fruit,beard,eggs etc in the fridge and the other personal touches in the flat made us very welcome,if we come to Amsterdam again i would definitely stay there,it was excellent.thankyou mel & henri for allowing us to share your home with us . The host filled the fridge with an unexpected treat of drinks and wine, which pleasantly surprised us. There was a lot of space in the apartment, it was generally nice. I was a little cold at night, but on hot days it will be great. You could hear the footsteps of the people living above us and how someone was using the water, because the house was built a long time ago. It's definitely a very nice garden. Very kind and helpful Host.

Tess’s place is one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in. Tess met us for check in to show us the beautiful accommodations. She provided local recommendations. What I appreciated the most was the extra touches she put into making the place feel special. There were live flowers in vases, a bottle of wine, waffles, and coffee ready for us. I found everything to be just perfect.
