Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Halen

Chez Charlemagne is a beautiful home that has ample space to work from, entertain guests of our own, walk to the village, and yet still feels away from it all.

Albert was a wonderful host, with a beautiful home to stay in. He was very respectful, polite and responsive. Truly a wonderful experience staying in this place!

What a wonderful place to stay with your family, big and small. The house is beautifully furnished, beautifully decorated. Anything you need is here. So no need to drag everything with you. The area is super beautiful, and all those animals, our granddaughter couldn't get enough of them. We could use the ofyr, wood was ready, so we could do a cozy bbq.

On the site, please takephotos of the location/ layout of the rooms. Convenient to know in advance if you are going with ( small) children.

We were on site with 7 friends. We enjoyed the accommodation very much. Grilling, sauna, whirlpool, pool and plenty of space. Everything you need is on site. Mark is very easy to reach and let us into the accommodation earlier.

Tom was very accurate and very attentive. Thank you so much for trying to find a crib with sheets and blankets for my little girl, even though it wasn't generally offered. The place was clean and complete with everything you need in an apartment. It would also have been helpful to have a small iron and equipment more suitable for recycling garbage. We had some difficulty finding the cottage because the quality of the map sent on the chat was low and unfortunately we did not have a paper one. Otherwise, great! Thank you so much Tom for your hospitality! 😊

we enjoyed the beautiful house in a wonderful location very much. Unfortunately, the weather was not really bad, but inside it was warm and cozy. we would love to come back with nice weather. There's plenty to do nearby, so you definitely don't get bored.

Ernest is a beautiful apartment, we immediately felt at home. Bonus is the terrace with outdoor table and chairs. Here wonderfully seated in the sun and enjoyed the good life. Also for my mother who runs a little worse, the center was easily accessible on foot. Also within walking distance of the Vrijbroekpark where you can run, walk and sit on the terrace. We had good and quick contact with Lisbet, in short: our stay was wonderful and we definitely recommend it!

We enjoyed staying in the guesthouse of Geoffroy and Sophie. Geoffroy had received us kindly, showed us the house and what you could do in the vicinity. The place was great, with nice touches (wine, egg from the chickens and jam) on arrival. Our 3.5-year-old daughter had a good time in the sandbox, with the dogs and played with the grandchildren❤️. She was especially surprised that we could eat eggs from your chickens, making it taste extra good. We visited Namur/Namur and Leuven during our vacation what is worth visiting. A lovely apartment with many perks for both solo travelers and groups - the outdoor space was nice in mild weather (though could have been cleaner), the cinema setup was lovely for a night in and the beds were comfortable. Said included many extra small touches that made our stay even more comfortable, like high-end appliances and snacks/water bottles.

We had a great stay. It was very comfortable and in a good location for a trip into brussels or to the surrounding area. Would definitely recommend.

I had a lovely stay at Bernadette's. Bernadette and her husband Laurent are very friendly and caring hosts. My place made me feel at home. The green environment with beautiful picturesque and historical places to visit,the green trails for strolling,and the excellent ORGANIC guest tables of the Superhost. A perfect spot for a stopover close to everything! Literally 2 steps from the main motorways (Brussels and Luxembourg) and... everything, in fact (shopping center, restaurants, pharmacies, cinema, bakery, veterinarian,...). The apartment is super equipped and quite spacious. The garden is easily accessible and shared with the owner who knows how to be very discreet when she is present, it is as if the garden was privatized to us and there is even a little extra for smokers, a small covered terrace sheltered from the wind with a small table, 2 chairs, an ashtray,… what else?! Thank you so much Célina for making our transition period so smooth. We were very likely to come across you and your Airbnb! 🫶🏻

This is the third time we've come to Patrick's. No surprises, everything is in line with what we expect. Contact with Patrick is always pleasant Only one small reservation, but Patrick has nothing to do with it, the traffic conditions on Rixensart, La Hulpe do not improve... For a weekend away with our adult children, we were looking for a nice, atmospheric location in nature. We fell for the wooden cottages and the location of this place based on the photos. But upon arrival, it exceeded our expectations! The surprise of all the small details really makes it an experience. So much love, attention and care has been given to this little paradise, you can feel it in everything. And the host Jaak also radiates this with his kindness and helpfulness. It is so nice that he does not keep this beautiful place to himself but is willing to share. Thank you for that, we will definitely come back here!

Great and Cosy house.

A little slice of paradise in the beautiful Dutch countryside. Heleen was welcoming, communicative and helpful. the cabin has everything you could possibly need. It's in a peaceful forest setting where all you can hear is birdsong. The main site has more amenities and a Spar shop. Beekse Bergen safari park and Efteling theme park are great family days out in easy distance. highly recommended!

We had a great time at Les Nids de Paillhe. The place is extremely peaceful, lots of equipment available, and wood at will to make a fire. Breakfast was very good. Highly recommended!

Wonderful stay, in the middle of the forest. Very friendly and proactive host. Everything present in the house. Beautiful garden. The only downside: you have to go through one of the bedrooms to get to the shower.

Wonderfully enjoyed the paradise that Martijn has created here. The garden, pool, wood stove and sauna were great! We would have liked to see what the entire property looks like in advance in the photos. The cottage is located right next to Martijn's house. And that can't be seen in the photos.

We were for a weekend there and everything was perfect. We were in love with this place. I hope that one day i will come back, maybe in winter 🫠 I was looking so long for a place like that and finally i found one. I already recommend to my friends to come too!
