Holiday rentals in Haiku-Pauwela

Jorma was a terrific host, and thought of everything his guests could want or need in the house. We were four coworkers staying here, and had plenty of space for each of us, a kitchen with all of the amenities and dishes, fast wifi for work meetings, and beautiful plants and surroundings. We cooked most meals in the kitchen and ate under the covered outdoor tables and really appreciated being in a neighborhood away from the typical tourist lodgings. We hope to stay with Jorma again in the near future and you shouldn't hesitate to book here if you're considering it!

This place is gorgeous! I am so glad we chose to stay here. The views were perfect. The property was amazing. The place was very comfortable and so peaceful. I would love to come back here some day.

This was the perfect place for us to stay for a couple nights! The space met and exceeded all our needs. Sweet porch and entryway, beautiful room, comfy bed and nice bathroom set up . A wonderful breeze blows thru the room and carries the perfect slightly floral scent. The water dispenser, coffeemaker, fridge and paper products were very appreciated. Tasty fresh breads in the mornings were such a nice treat. LizBeth was quick to respond to questions. Small friendly town a short distance away was a fun place to catch breakfast and visit shops. The location is wonderful for exploring cool places and returning to relax. Garden spaces around the property are beautiful, inviting and refreshing. Beach chairs were a win, too. We enjoyed our trip to Maui and we will fondly recall our stay at the Hibiscus Hideaway!

My first hostel experience at age 58. It was amazing! I was informed by other guests that this hostel is, by far, the best they’ve ever stayed in. From the moment I booked it, until checkout, I had amazing service! They answered my questions before arrival and throughout my stay. You won’t want to miss the excursions! They’re the BEST part of your stay! They provide beach towels, snorkeling equipment, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, so no need to bring your own. There are restaurants and grocery stores not too far away. Bed was comfortable but you have to request a blanket. Prior to my stay, I requested a bottom bunk because of my age and fortunately they were able to accommodate me. The staff were very professional and made me feel included. My 2 regrets: not renting a car for my 2 wk stay. Fortunately they have a Group Chat where you can find rides occasionally and other information. Other regret - not downloading the door code app. Highly recommend Howzit for all ages!!

Wow! Where do I start. I’ve travelled and stayed in AIRB&B”s all over the world. Every now and then you come across a place that truly drives the experience. This is one of those places. Beautiful, quiet, island country feel, private and safe…. I felt like I was living in a dream. Place was CLEAN 🧼 Bedding was super clean and you can tell a lot of thought went into the design. It’s upstairs, so you can walk out and hang out in the patio and witness a 360 mountain and ocean view…. It reminds me of countryside Japan so much. Vernon was super responsive and kind with check in instructions… This is the greatest deal on the island and at this price and experience, Vernon will take a lot of business from the competition. 10/10 !!!! I’m very picky, I recommend this place to EVERYONE visiting the island, you won’t regret it….

We are so grateful to have found Mana House! This place is truly magical. We loved the peaceful beauty of the house and surrounding area. It’s very private and there was always a nice breeze that kept things cool. The sound of the birds and the laughing goats added an extra “mood elevator” as Tom puts it! Highly, highly recommend staying here!

we enjoyed our week long stay at Hank's place. the area is beautiful and there is a lot to do. Hank had a number of useful kitchen amenities and was very friendly and accommodating! thank you!

We loved our experience here. Beautiful views of nature from every room. Lovely rain showers and breezes keeping things cool. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. Good location for both road to Hana and Haleakalā. We appreciated the snorkel gear, toys and beach supplies. Highly recommended! One thing to note is that the laundry and supply area is a little tricky to access (it's below the house), was not a problem for us, but may be difficult if you have mobility issues or are unstable on your feet.
