Beach house holiday rentals in Habaraduwa

We had a lovely time at the property, would definitely visit and stay again. Very friendly staff and plenty of freedom and privacy. Couple of things to note, there is only one fridge for the 5 rooms we stayed at, and only one bath tub in the 5 rooms. Food was good, there are some nice shacks near by. location is excellent.

Our stay at Anja's place was amazing! Even before we arrived, Anja provided us with valuable tips for our Sri Lanka trip, which helped us a lot and took our initial concerns. We were able to check in earlier for a small extra charge and were warmly welcomed. Eranga, who takes care of the house, prepared us a delicious lunch according to our wishes – a perfect start after a long journey! The house is very well equipped. The two rooms on the ground floor each include a private bathroom. Living room, kitchen and terrace are also on one level. Our children loved the pool, which is an ideal size and surrounded by beautiful palm trees. We were able to use the pool completely privately. The highlight was the roof terrace with a fantastic view of the sea and breathtaking sunsets. We highly recommend Anja's place. Thank you for everything.

The place is amazing It big size front garden backside infinity pool with ocean 20 meters only. The checkin was very smooth and we were greeted with very kind person caretaker. It was my birthday he arranged cake and all necessary items and was very proactive and humble ready to help, he took us in his tuktuk to buy basic groceries and beer. The place is stunning well equipped kitchen,clean bedrooms and hall. The pool was super fresh and was cleaned daily .Nearby we have many supermarkets and restaurants. It perfect for large families who want peace and family time.

The stay was great all around – the accommodation was clean, cozy and exactly as described. I would especially like to highlight the host: incredibly friendly, helpful and always available. You felt immediately welcome. I can really recommend this place and the host from the heart. Thanks for the great time!

First of all, I would like to thank the service staff, they are very helpful and friendly. The villa and furniture are very beautiful and elegant, one of the most beautiful villas we have visited, but there are some comments. The price is very high compared to the area, and there is a very, very large problem with flies, and I think it is because of the adjacent land, which is full of dirt. Also, the curtains in the bedrooms do not block the sun well, and there is no air conditioning in the sitting area or in the kitchen.

The best thing about August beach house is it's location..sits right on the beach with lots of nice bars, restaurants and surf schools nearby. The staff were very kind and courteous and they keet the place squeaky clean through out our stay.

Celine’s house was great for us. 6 persons (4 adults and 2 children 3 and 4 years old). + house exactly the same as on photos. + location is great. + almost private claim beach was good. + Christian and Indra are really great hosts. We spent a month here – it's almost a perfect place! The Internet is ideal for work, including video calls. Comfortable bed with new mattress. The bathroom is a delight! The toilet and shower are separated from each other, and the hot water is really unlimited hot water and with great pressure. The kitchen has everything except the Turks for making coffee, but it's a small thing. We made friends with our dogs and played often. They really bark, but only when someone comes, which in our case was very rare. The hosts are wonderful people, it was easy and pleasant to communicate on all issues. There is no noise insulation between our and neighboring apartments at the expense of a thin door in an adjacent wall. We rented this apartment too and used them as a separate office. When someone arrives at the villa, you can hear absolutely everything that happens on the street at any time of the day. In any case, my rating is 10 out of 10 because all the listed pros more than compensate for the minor shortcomings. Thank you!

We (family of four with young kids) came across this house and loved it, but it didn’t have a bed for our one year old daughter, so we sent Vic a message and he went out of his way to find one. Great start! When we got there, the house was even better than the pictures give away: private villa on the quiet outskirts of Ahangama, but a five minute tuk tuk ride will get you to the town’s centre where all the restaurants and such are. Modern bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, nice kitchen and living room, beautiful pool, huge patio with a roof over it, monkeys in the trees in the morning etc. etc. I contacted Vic several times during our stay and always got quick replies with great advice - places to eat, tuk tuk drivers, surf coach and places to see. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again myself some day!

We had a fantastic stay at the villa in Mihiripenna! The property is even more beautiful than in the photos—spacious, clean, and surrounded by nature, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The pool and garden were perfect for unwinding, and the location was ideal—just a short walk or tuk-tuk ride to the beach and nearby restaurants. A special mention goes to Nimal, the villa’s cook, who treated us to absolutely delicious meals every day. Each dish was full of flavor and made with so much care—it truly elevated our experience and made us feel right at home. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy the south coast in comfort and style!

We had a wonderful stay at Rob’s villa. From the moment we arrived, Rob was an incredibly kind and thoughtful host—he went out of his way to make us feel welcome, even finding alcohol-free beer for my pregnant wife, which was such a thoughtful touch. The villa itself is spacious, brand new, and fully equipped with everything we needed—from an oven and smoothie machine to a water dispenser with both cold and hot water. It’s located in a peaceful area, just a short 5-minute tuk-tuk ride to the nearest beach, which was perfect for us. We also really appreciated the house help—Eranga was always available when we needed anything, but also gave us full privacy when we wanted it. He and his wife are amazing cooks, and the Sri Lankan food they prepared for us was a real highlight of the trip. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-supported stay in Sri Lanka!

The house was even more beautiful than the photos. We had a very nice stay there. The host was very helpful and gave us everything we needed. He also gave us the number of a tuktuk driver near us for when we wanted to go to the town of Unawatuna or Galle Fort. Thank you for everything!

I spent 3 nights at Abhaya Villas and loved every minute of it. The property is well maintained, clean and as the listing describes - right opposite the sea. Rooms were clean and comfortable, the bathroom was large and clean and the common area and the kitchen was also clean and decently stocked. Shaun was super responsive and helpful throughout and made it very easy for us to communicate, despite being out of the country. Ruwan, the caretaker was also very helpful. All in all, the perfect place for a nice, quiet beach time in Sri Lanka. Definitely recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at an Airbnb hosted by Ruwan, and it was a delightful experience. Ruwan was an extremely warm and welcoming host, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location was fantastic, within walking distance to both the beach and Coconut Tree Hill. The lush green property felt almost like staying in a forest, offering a serene environment. The breakfast provided was very good, with a variety of delicious options. The room was a bit small, but it didn't affect our comfort during the stay. Additionally, Ruwan offers to help plan activities in and around Mirissa, which could add a lot of value to your trip. Despite the minor detail about the room size, the stay had its positive aspects, particularly Ruwan's hospitality, the excellent breakfast, and the beautiful surroundings. This Airbnb is a great choice for travelers looking for a welcoming host and a beautiful location.

Thank you so much for your hospitality! The place was really cozy and nice, we loved the balcony surrounded by blooming trees. The hosts were incredible - friendly, responsive. For example, we wanted ab extra key and a fan for the balcony - all of our requests were completely satisfied. It was always clean and neat - cleaning every week with a change of bed linen. The place is close to the main beaches, bus stop and everything you light need. Yard is blooming and big enough for parking 4-5 bikes

Spent 3 nights at Josephine's place. The place was super nice, spacious and had a great roof terrace. In addition, the recommendations were great - here Josephine put together a nice document that you should definitely read through. Also, the price was very fair. I highly recommend it. is a little off the beach but there is a small, cute shop right around the corner and a super delicious family-run restaurant (Humbhaha Ahangama) within walking distance. For most other things, it's better to take a tuktuk. Here you should definitely pay attention to the recommendation from the document, Anoura was just great :)! My only negative point is that it is a bit close to the railway line and can be a bit noisy at times - but that didn't bother us. Highly recommended!

Very private and comfortable space 5 minutes walk from Kabalana beach. Garden is huge and nicely shaded. Outdoor shower. Nice upper and lower balcony. Very lovely place

The beach is an easy walk and it is at the quieter end of Hikkaduwa. The main part of town is a nice beach walk or a Tuk Tuk ride away. The birds in the garden are really wonderful. Look out for the Asian Paradise Flycatcher.

I had such a lovely stay at the House of Water Lilies! The hosts were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The place itself is peaceful, beautifully surrounded by nature, and perfect if you’re looking for a calm escape. You can really feel the love and care that went into creating this space. It’s close enough to enjoy the beaches and cafes of Weligama, but far enough to relax in total peace. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming place to stay in Sri Lanka!
