Lovely stay in a beautiful location with easy access to Amsterdam using public transport. Very helpful hosts with frequent communication answering any questions and even booking dinner on our behalf. Highly recommended!

The apartment is great, but the absolute highlight is the terrace on 3 sides of the house, right on the water. The large glass fronts in the living room provide a view of the water, which makes the apartment special even in cool temperatures. The only downside is that you'd rather not go on an excursion, but just stay in the apartment.

Despite the weather, we had a great time and definitely had a great time! The beds were lovely, the shower was fine and everything we needed was present – even for music. The fridge and freezer worked perfectly and the atmosphere was really very pleasant. One small downside: in the small room we miss bedside lamps, which would make it a little more complete. And of course, it's unfortunate that the weather wasn't right, because with sun it is probably completely enjoyable there on the water. There is not much to do in the area, but for us that was not a problem – it certainly did not spoil our fun. In short: we have enjoyed it!* Kind regards, the Keezen girls

Very nice location, very close to the center. It is important to mention that there is no parking space for the car. 500 meters away is a free parking space. We didn't think this was a problem. First drop off the luggage and then take the car to the parking lot, went well (one-way traffic). The cottage is modern and cozy and equipped with every comfort! Train station and bus stop are nearby to explore the wider area by public transport. In the garden, there is a shed where you can store your own/rented bicycles. It is a quiet environment and yet close to the city center! Wonderful place and definitely recommended.

Brenda's little house is furnished with great attention to detail. We rented the house to go to Amsterdam. You can get to Amsterdam train station in about 15 minutes by bus. Buses depart every few minutes near the apartment. It's a shame that we couldn't enjoy the great house anymore. We were always out and about until the evening.

We booked the house because it appealed to us from the reviews. Our expectations were far exceeded. We arrived at a house where we immediately felt at home. In the kitchen there is everything you need for daily use. Everything is very clean and tastefully decorated. Communication with Saskia was possible without any problems. We rented the house with a friendly couple and went home after a week very well recovered. We can recommend the house without hesitation. We would like to come back next autumn. Perfect Peaceful Getaway We had an unforgettable stay at this peaceful spot on the island. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we had stepped into a little slice of paradise. The tranquility of the surroundings & the lush nature all around made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The house was cozy and equipped with everything we needed. We especially loved sitting outside in the evenings with a borrel - just soaking in the quiet beauty. The host was warm and welcoming, offering great local recommendations while giving us complete privacy. We left feeling refreshed. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed Sabine and Sander's place! It was beautiful and we loved the interior decor and the ability to open many of the windows. It felt super clean and comfy and was exactly as described, and they were super responsive with all of our questions. Haarlem was very walkable with lots of shops and restaurants, and it was super easy to take the train into Amsterdam. We'll miss this place and we would definitely recommend staying! Hope to come back again; highly recommend.

A top accommodation, a whole experience

Very nice place, with friendly hosts, John and his wife were very friendly, meeting our needs, super recommended. who of your a beautiful region like a wonderful sunset. I'll definitely be back again.

I am original from Haarlem and you can't get a better location than Steven's place. The description matches what you get, the rooftop terrace is fantastic, everything is within walking distance and Steven is just a great host. He is very proactive and asks if everything is ok or if there is something you need him to do. For example I asked if he could maybe arrange a bicycle and I had one the next day. He was also very flexible in the checkout/in times. My flight arrived at 9.30 in the morning and I made it to Haarlem around noon, which was no problem.

The position and the house are beautiful

Lovely apartment, very easy to find and very clean and comfortable. Great location on the waterfront and close to bus station. Easy walk to town and lots of cafes / restaurants. Shafieq was really responsive and helpful and gave very clear instructions on check-in.

We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the view. The cottage was clean and tidy and equipped with everything. The view was amazing. Unfortunately, the weather did not allow it, but the beautiful moments we were able to sit on the terrace and the jetty. We stayed in cottage # 5. Highly recommended. Good beds and full equipment in the kitchen.

Wow! Nor and Mat’s cottage was the perfect escape. The most comfortable stay with picturesque views. The home was immaculate, and Nor and Mat have thought of everything—including toys and crafts for our 3 year old. Their communication and instructions were great, too. The location was wonderful too—a short drive to many restaurants and stores while still quiet and peaceful. We loved our time there!

A beautiful cottage in which we immediately felt comfortable. The view is sensational: ducks, storks, rabbits, lots of greenery and waterside. On the terrace with the very cozy rocking chairs, you can relax and enjoy a sundowner. The amenities are perfect, the beds very comfortable and everything super clean. Rudi is a great host and very friendly. 😊 We will be happy to come back.

The house was very tastefully decorated and offered everything we needed to feel at home. The view was breathtaking and we were able to enjoy many beautiful sunsets. Best location for access to Edam. Steps away from the cheese market. Ample parking for an SUV. Bathroom on par with American standards - nicer than most European bathrooms. Washer and dryer are full capacity. Enough sleeping space for a family of six. Playground in front of house. Hosts nice and responsive. Cobbled roads and narrow homes do make Edam not ADA friendly like much of Europe.

Such a lovely place to say in a peaceful, friendly village with swimming canal ,all within easy to navigate public transport to central Amsterdam. We had a fantastic time, our host Lonneke was helpful and very friendly. The cottage was very clean and as described. I would recommend staying here.

Angelique was a good and friendly host. She greeted us right on the street, so we didn't have to look any further for the accommodation. The cottage is very lovingly furnished. The location on the water is really good. You have your privacy here. We were also very pleased about the food provided. We had a very nice time.
