Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Haarlem

Linde is a great host, proactive for anything which might go wrong, gave a good list of facilities, restaurants, shops, places of interest and quick to respond to any issues we had. We had a couple of hot days and Linde suggested ways in which we could get cooler. The location is great, just 5 mins from the railway station. There is a park across the road and a boat hire 2 mins away. Amsterdam is 20 mins away by train. We went to Amsterdam several times but it is so crowded compared to Haarlem. We had small children with us. They loved the toybox which Linde had generously left. All in all we had a great host, a great location and a great stay.

A beautiful accommodation, fantastically quiet and rural, yet close to Amsterdam. The house is a dream😍, Albert a very nice landlord.

We loved our stay at Mabel’s cottage while we visited the Netherlands to celebrate my bachelorette! The house has a good mix of seclusion and convenience: there aren’t many neighbors nearby, which offers a good amount of privacy. It is also conveniently located right across the street from the train station - which is two stops (~15 minutes) to Amsterdam Central Station. If you wish to visit a different city other than Amsterdam on your stay, Haarlem was ~20 minutes and is another very cute and quaint city. The home was decorated beautifully and was maintained very well. Nonetheless, Mabel made us all feel right at home and was quick to respond whenever we had a question. I would highly recommend staying here - thank you again Mabel for hosting us!!

Excellent location if you have a car to explore the fantastic places the Netherlands have to offer. A real enjoyable private space.

Max was super responsive to our texts from day one. Great host!!!! Our stay was great with the kitchen having everything we needed for breakfast and late night snacks and more ... the cute balcony rooftop off the kitchen a bonus. Ambiance is amazing from the second we walked in! Beds were comfortable also and 25 min walking distance to train station. Would return again! Thankyou

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our three-night stay in this lovely apartment. Nestled in a quiet, picturesque alley in the heart of Haarlem, it’s conveniently located near excellent restaurants, supermarkets, and key attractions. I especially loved the vintage jukebox and arcade machine in the room! The skylight in the ceiling was a fantastic touch, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that even the curtains and lights could be controlled via an iPad. Our hosts, Marieke and Rico, were incredibly friendly and helpful—truly a rarity in the Airbnb world nowadays. Overall, this is possibly the best Airbnb in Haarlem. I highly recommend it!

This is a superb AirBNB. full of character and incredibly located, adjacent to bus and train station and a short walk into the centre of the city which is beautiful. Haarlem is a real gem of the Netherland, with only 5 euro, 15 minute train to centre of Amsterdam, don't waste your money there. Pieter is a friendly and responsive host and was very helpful in accomodating our luggages prior to check in. Highly recommended !

This was a great rental for our extended family visiting from the United States. The house was spacious and comfortable for a big group, and Joris/Julia/Theresa were very responsive and also helpful to provide baby supplies (pack 'n play, crib, etc.) for our 1-year-old, too. We especially loved the location of this home in a peaceful neighborhood, across the street from a playground, easily walkable to downtown Haarlem (30 minutes), and also with easy access to a main road by car/bike. We had a rental car and never had an issue with street parking. Would highly recommend this home to other travelers!

Laura and her husband Arjan were the perfect hosts! Arjan served us breakfast each morning which included a basket of fresh bread, fruits and cheese. Arjan provided us with great recommendations and most especially - showed us how to use the tram system! It is a lovely apartment and they made us feel very welcome.

Do not hesitate to go there! It is the perfect getaway! Everything is well thought, well decorated, we felt so quickly at home and at peace. There are some houses and neighbours around the house but you might only see them when you arrive and leave. The place is private and quiet. The view is exactly like the picture, we spent evenings looking at the sky, the birds, the rabbits and the cows. A great place 😊

Quiet, peaceful, clean and luxurious apartment in Den Haag. Just as described in the listing, with easy access to public transit and groceries right around the corner. Impeccably decorated. Gonny was so kind and helpful and made us feel right at home. We would absolutely stay here again.

We slept three nights at the Bubblehouse. The hosting was super warm. Yvonne was available and very kind throughout our stay. The house and location is just beautiful. The beautiful tranquility of the countryside surrounded by tulip fields. My partner and I recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay at Bert and Marieke's spacious apartment. We were welcomed by Bert who helped us with our luggage up the stairs and showed us into their well appointed 2 bedroom apartment. I can honestly say that this has been the loveliest stay I had in an Airbnb. The place feels like home right away. Sometimes you’ll be welcomed by two lovely very friendly and playful cats when get to the reception. The place is clean, and looks as good as the photos and even better. The best was very comfortable and the bathroom had everything you needed. There’s a wide collection of teas that I really enjoyed as well. Yes there’s no kitchen but I don’t think it’s really needed. The location of the apartment is so perfect. It’s near everything you’d need. There are many nice shops, cafes, bars and restaurants very close by. I’d really consider coming back to Everts place next time I come to Amsterdam.

We had the most wonderful stay. The Garage was perfect for what we needed. It was beautifully done, Sanny and Dennis had thought of everything. It had a lovely feeling to it, was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Check in was really easy. We used the bikes (thank you!) and the location was a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Alkmaar. We would not hesitate to return. Thank you for creating such a cool and beautiful space. The Condominium is in a nice quiet part of Amsterdam, but still easy to get to city centre. Was very clean and comfortable.

Wonderful space! Beautiful interior, very well equipped for everything you might need over a long weekend stay. Marina was lovely, very helpful and communicative. The bed was extremely comfortable, location excellent, every part of the space is well thought out and would highly recommend it to anyone!

Our short vacay was really nice at Suus‘ place :) Everything was like described and we felt really comfortable. The location of the apartment was perfect, especially for us as a family with a toddler. We can really recommend it!

Wle spent 4 nights in very clean, cozy apartment, in peaceful canal area. Away from all the noise and traffic but still very walkable. good restaurants nearby. Our host was very friendly and responsive. Great communication. Big bed very comfortable too. Would definitely recommend!

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!
