“We had an incredible stay at Alexis and Manny's cob cottage. Their property is private and quiet, and the unique cottage is like something out of a fairy tale. Small but spacious, it had everything we needed. There were plenty of dishes and pots in the kitchen, which we used to cook a number of our meals. We were lucky to be able to use the outdoor pizza oven outside as well before the fire ban kicked in. The shower was quite large, and we appreciated the high ceilings everywhere (even upstairs where the bed was). The bed was very comfortable. Alexis provided us with some great recommendations of where to go and where to eat on the island. It was a magical, relaxing getaway and we hope to return one day! If you are ever planning a trip to the Southern Gulf Islands, this Airbnb is a must.”

“My stay at Trudy's place was just what I needed to rejuvenate during the Covid19 crisis. The cabin was very cozy, had all the supplies I needed, and was a nice balance of rustic and modern. The view of the water visible from the loft bed was the perfect backdrop to fall asleep with and made my rest so peaceful. Trudy was an amazing host and provided so many extra touches like delicious smoothies in the morning and a stock of coffee & breakfast supplies that was so appreciated. She also arranged for private boat transportation for arrival, which made getting to Protection Island very easy and convenient. I should also mention that Trudy's roommate is an amazing co-host and both the ladies are just lovely, genuine, and thoughtful people. Overall an amazing stay.”

“If you want a place to unwind and enjoy beauty, nature, and a spiritually renewing space, you will do well to stay here. My husband and I had planned to go up into Canada for some adventures, but we only left a few times because it was exactly where we wanted to be. When I hiked down to the beach, I only saw one other group the whole time. Solitude, peace, birds, and gorgeous panoramic views. One more thing. We are picky about having a comfortable bed, and both of us slept very well up in the cozy loft. Teri”
