Beachfront holiday rentals in Guiones Beach

We were looking forward a remote location to settle for some months. This was a great sanctuary to be alone and explore the empty beach. The WiFi was very good , even when other local services were unavailable. The neighbour made us delicious food when requested. A great adventure.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Drei traumhafte Monate in diesem wunderschönen Haus! Die Ruhe war himmlisch und die Lage direkt am Meer unschlagbar - fast täglich sind wir schwimmen gegangen. Die Aufteilung des Hauses war perfekt für uns. Und das Privileg in so einem Haus zu wohnen war für uns aussergewöhnlich. Danke Roxana. Als Gastgeberin warst du sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und hast alles wunderbar organisiert. Diese fantastischen Wochen werden unvergesslich bleiben und wir wollen gerne wiederkommen!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

The little blue house is exactly what one needs. Has a working kitchen, quiet, and best of all the beach is right there. It was nice to have a peaceful place to return to after busy excursions into the cities or whatever else. Felt like a home away from home. Would definitely visit again

Absolutely loved the peaceful, private location of this Airbnb! Bernd was very communicative and left detailed instruction of what’s around the area to what was available to use at the house. We loved so many things about this place the list would go on and on. Thank you Bernd for allowing us to experience such beauty.

I didn't know laying in a pool and listening to the Pacific Ocean crash while monkeys swung overhead was a life goal until I stayed at Jill's. We saw howler and cappuchin monkeys, coati, and countless birds just hanging by the pool one afternoon. Jill was friendly, informative and made sure we were taken care of even when she wasn't physically able to be on the property. The property itself was insanely amazing and the perfect relaxing beachfront location for unwinding. There are bars and restaurants we were able to easily walk to using the jungle path Jill noted. I couldn't rate her home more highly!

Location. Location. Location. This place is right on the beach with an elevated ‘treehouse’ stay that smartly uses the space on the ground floor as an area to eat, cook, wash dishes, lounge and enjoy being by the beach. We stayed for 7 nights with a toddler and infant. Would definitely stay here again. Staff are friendly and Luis was particularly helpful and engaging. Breakfast is included. The fruit is fresh and juicy. Breakfast overall was good, however, the experience could be improved by adding a traditional Costa Rican breakfast at least every other day. Having a mosquito net installed above the futon in the living room is a quick fix and needed. Luckily we brought a mosquito net which Luis helped install. As noted in another review there is only one futon not two. Our 3 year old enjoyed using the pool. Looking forward to coming back to Samara.

The house is pretty much like the photos but the home is not as pristine as the photos... very nice though! 2 of the bedrooms are outside of the home with their own external doors... the caretakers live on the property and while they try to be unobtrusive, you are never alone. They are very nice and helpful though. The caretakers, Dahlia and Jefrey have two small friendly dogs that roam the property and follow you everywhere. The black and white one barked all through the night making it difficult to sleep but once we told the management about it, the dogs were secured at night so the barking was no longer an issue. Beach access is great and they have a surf board, boogie boards and other items for your use! Very nice. The a/c units in a couple of the rooms can get loud at night and woke us up a few times. The washer sometimes would not drain and had to be restarted. The alarm system requires setting from the main home and the two outside bedrooms if you arm them... great vacation!

We loved our stay at the cottage on the beach. We loved the area and it was an easy walk to downtown Samara (if the tide is not high). I highly recommend at night walking the beach and seeing the hermit crabs in action. We found the area quiet and peaceful. We highly recommend.

Rodman and Johannah make it easy to want to come back. We have now stayed in all the villas. Maybe next time we’ll try the main house. Samara is a town where the best places and things to do are spread out. Villas Espavel is walking distance to the highlights, on both ends of the beach. What a beautiful spot! We stayed here for 4 nights at the end of our Costa Rica trip and what a beautiful way to end it. The house is great. The AC in the rooms cooled it off nicely and the pool was perfect. We loved how accessible everything was from this place including the beach and restaurants. Samara is a beautiful little laid back town and this place fits right in. The host was so sweet and very responsive with any questions we had. Easy 5 star and would recommend CasaBea’s to everyone! Thank you for a great stay!

This is our second time staying here. I highly recommend staying at Gerardo’s place if you want a private pool and oceanfront place to stay in Samara. They are always such fantastic and responsive hosts. They respond to messages right away, always leave some fresh fruit for arrival and the home is exactly what you’d hope for for a beach vacation. We will be back!

Our best stay in Costa Rica and we wish we could stay longer! Federica and Roberto have created a great space to relax on in such an exciting town. The yoga is good for all levels and is every morning. It’s a close walk to the beach and right next to plenty of restaurants all while being nicely secluded. The pools is very refreshing and private with only 4 total units on the property. Can’t wait to go back

El lugar cumplió nuestras expectativas , tuvimos la oportunidad de ir caminando a la playa por lo cerca que queda. El acceso fué fácil y hay comercios (restaurantes , coffee shops , supermercados, etc) bastante cerca. Mi esposo y yo la pasamos excelente ! Gracias a ambos por la atención y pronta respuesta.

Being able to wake up, sit outside in the cool breeze, watch the sun rise and listen to the Howler monkeys and wildlife wake up every morning is an absolutely beautiful and peaceful experience. In addition to hearing the ocean waves crashing against the shore. This place was the best part of our trip! Oh and the beds were so comfortable that was worth its weight in gold! This was an amazing location!

Highly recommend! Great location, spacious studio that had everything you need and the host was very responsive and helpful.

Nice place and great team who work there. Good breakfast options. Close to the ocean and markets/cafes. That's why I left a 5-star. But I want to draw the owner's attention to the insect problem - every night, there were a few giant flying cucarachas, ants, and a bunch of other flying animals. I understand its Costa Rica (I've lived here for two years), kept the doors closed, but insects still go inside in numbers. The bathroom has a foam plastic block instead of a window. Rooms are dark (but at least chill temperature).

Place is nice, cozy and as described. It's located in a beautiful property surrounded by nature. It's peaceful and the best part is the beach just steps away. We experienced some unplanned inconveniences out of our control but the host did his best to help us with everything.

My brother and I stayed here for just over a week. Access was easy with the property manager Kattia. The indoor space is cozy and well-appointed. The outdoor space was great with a couch, hammock, outdoor dining table, and small but perfect pool. The location is just about at the center of everything but is tucked away down a driveway so as to be quite private. Easy 5-minute walk down to the beach. Several great restaurants and stores are within a couple of hundred yards. Lockable surfboard storage in the separate laundry room. Tuck Tuck stand and Ebike rentals just down the street. No need for a car. Overall, would be happy to stay here again.

I can't say enough about the location and Airbnb amenities. Steps from the beach, a private pool to cool off on those hot summer nights, and I have never felt so safe and secure. The casita was pristine and well stocked. Most of all, Fatou was responsive and friendly.

Arriving at the Casita after a long trip to Nosara (2 connecting flights plus 3+ hr trip from LIR) really was like arriving at a home away from home: the friendly, professional, and highly attentive management team met me at the door and made sure I had everything I needed, and the Casita itself was breathtaking: beautifully designed tropical architecture with premium finishes throughout, fully stocked kitchen with top-shelf appliances, warm lighting and cool AC (in each room). Housekeeping was pristine. Location was truly unbeatable, in an upscale residential section just off the beach on a dedicated path. Note that the neighborhood is not in the center of the village… but exactly what I was looking for: a clean and quiet refuge three minutes from the main streets of Nosara. A short walk along the beach got me to any restaurant or shop I wanted to visit. Sun terrace was ideal reading/coffee nook; private Moroccan-tiled outdoor shower after each surf was a top-5 lifetime highlight.

This is such an amazing and beautiful spot steps from the beach and so close to the friendly little village. Restaurants on the beach welcomed us to a relaxing meal on those days we didn't wish to cook. We went to sleep and awoke to the sound of the surf. So peaceful! Sofia is a thoughtful engaging host. With the care-taker living on site, we felt well taken care of and completely safe. We look forward to returning!

We really enjoyed our stay! Jose was very responsive and always kind and helpful. The house is in a great spot and is great for relaxing on the porch after a long day. Perfect for enjoying Samara and the surrounding area.
