Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Guimaras Island

The property has a peaceful charm with a relaxing atmosphere, a private pool, karaoke, and beautiful surroundings—ideal if you’re looking to completely unplug and stay put. However, our experience was mixed due to several factors that future guests should be aware of. The biggest challenge was the location. The house is remote and not listed in the city’s tourism directory, making it hard for local transport providers to locate. Accessibility is heavily impacted by the tides—depending on the time of day, getting in and out requires a flat boat (at an extra fee), which felt like a charge that should have been included in the price. While island hopping was available, it came at an additional cost, and leaving the property for any activities required extra planning and expense. If you’re not planning to explore and are content staying at the property, this might not be an issue—but it’s something to keep in mind.

Paul is very resposnsive to all our questions and even have a lot of suggestions. if you are looking for a private place to get along with the nature and wake up with wonderful mornings of sea view, this is a place to go. It was one of the best Arbnb homes that I stayed. The owners did a really great job about maintaining there house clean and tidy. Huge living space and dining area. All the rooms have AC. If I go back to iloilo again, i would definitely book again in there house. PS thank you for the mineral water!

Highly Recommended! Very accessible to Dumanggas Port and Public Market hihihi. Malinis din ang place and has complete set of appliances and other stuff you need to have a comfortable stay. The host offers variety of drinks din na you can purchase on a reasonable price. Very accommodating din ni miss jorja; she replies to all my queries kahit madaling araw na. Thank you 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

No wonder Lara Mae and her family belonged to the category of superhosts. They took great care of us and our concerns. I initially booked another airbnb, but due to poor communications, I cancelled it and found Lara’s place. She was responsive from start to finish. Her place was also homey and very accessible to Megaworld and Festive Walk. It has everything you need - from water to toiletries and even towels! We will definitely return and book her place again. The experience was beautiful. ❤️

This place was awesome. Bed was conformable and the A/C worked great. The balcony was actually usable with 2 chairs and a table on it. The staff that worked at the complex is very friendly and helpful. The Gym was nice and modern. I would for sure stay here again.

Had an amazing 3days 2nights stay at Lafayette! The unit was clean and comfy, and the highlight was definitely the pool it was perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Super convenient location too, close to everything. Highly recommend!

I love moon and the hanging moon lamp caught my eye right away and felt like I am home. A cute little clean space perfect for my preferences. Plus a friendly host! Will definitely go back!

My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay at The Loft. It’s just a 10-minute walk to Festive Walk Mall, making it very convenient for shopping, dining, and accessing transportation. Regina was quick to respond to our questions and went out of her way to accommodate our needs. We’ll definitely be back and will gladly recommend her place to our friends and family.

my siblings and I enjoyed our overnight stay at Ms. Lorena's place. Upon arrival, the ac was already on and the unit was very clean, organized, and smells really good! We had a very cozy stay and felt right at home. We were provided with free bottled water and condiments if you are into cooking. There's also a honesty store of snacks, drinks, frozen food, eggs, toiletries, and even rice. It's perfect if you forgot to bring something or too lazy to shop for groceries. Ms. Lorena was also responsive and accommodating whenever we need her help. We will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

I really the love place. The location is perfect if you want to relax. You can habe zumba and early morning jog as the place is near a boardwalk. It is also clean. We have eveeything that we need for our entire stay.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! The photos in their profile does not do justice. The place is so much more. It’s homey and convenient. It’s safe and it could sleep 5 -6 people comfortably. The night ambience is my favorites. It’s very relaxing. * I travelled with a senior and having handrail by the toilet is a special feature I really appreciate. * the appliances inside are complete and more than what u need for your stay. I might want the spoon and fork set to be bigger and thicker atleast for my liking. * the beds in rooms are also A+ , we had 3 nights of good sleep. * the HOST, Martin is very friendly and accommodating. Answers to my minute request fast. I wish all hosts are like him. * internet is good. We had no problem. Overall. The place is recommendable, highly! I would book this place again, just for good night sleep purposes hehe! Good luck and I hope this review helped you picky travelers like me.

The place is accessible to transportation. Restaurants are walkable from the place. We enjoyed our stay!

The condo is in a very convenient location. Shops and restaurant are just a 3 Minute walk away. There is a Jeepney going to Festive Mall and other Jeepney routes near by. All of the security and managers are super friendly. Water refilling station and laundry are just one building away. Celina is very friendly and will do her best to make you feel at home. I have to say, that I was surprised, that I rarely had to use the AC (I mostly only had to use the electric fan), even though I stayed during one of the hottest months. One minor inconvenience I had were some noisy neighbors, but Celina went out of her way to do everything she could. I just got very unlucky, but the security was always there to help me out.
