House holiday rentals in Guimaras Island

The property has a peaceful charm with a relaxing atmosphere, a private pool, karaoke, and beautiful surroundings—ideal if you’re looking to completely unplug and stay put. However, our experience was mixed due to several factors that future guests should be aware of. The biggest challenge was the location. The house is remote and not listed in the city’s tourism directory, making it hard for local transport providers to locate. Accessibility is heavily impacted by the tides—depending on the time of day, getting in and out requires a flat boat (at an extra fee), which felt like a charge that should have been included in the price. While island hopping was available, it came at an additional cost, and leaving the property for any activities required extra planning and expense. If you’re not planning to explore and are content staying at the property, this might not be an issue—but it’s something to keep in mind.

The host is very nice person. I really enjoyed my stay there. I highly recommend there to everyone.

Second time staying at this beautiful house. It makes a great three day weekend break from Manila. Beach is gorgeous and house has everything you need. We’ll be back!

Can’t really explain the beauty of this home because you need to experience it yourself. Breath taking views, fresh air, a SUNRISE and SUNSET area. Honestly still at an awe with the all the (many) views of this home. Turn your cellphones off after you make your obligatory post and RELAX! All rooms had personal bathroom and AC. I woke up early morning and it felt better sleeping on the porch waiting for the sunrise lol. My wife likes to sleep with the AC on freeze. The host and the caretaker gave us a warm welcome and were very accommodating. I would highly recommend this home on your vacation in the Philippines!

We knew very quickly upon arrival we would want to book a another month, which we did. The place is clean and safe. Priorities for us. The best part though is the on-site staff who really care for the space and for us. We felt at home right away. If something needs tending to they respond immediately and kindly. I work remotely and I've been able to keep things rolling despite being half way around the world from my office. Highly highly recommend staying here if you want a safe, clean and friendly experience.

Great place! Clean, peaceful, and really spacious. The access to the beach is a bonus too. The caretaker is very helpful. The welcome tray of fresh fruits is such a sweet gesture. Amazing host!

Our last minute booking with Ms. Connie saved us from the bad weather because of the delayed trip from Batangas Port going to Caticlan, we arrived too early for the check-in. She's quick to reply and very accomodating. Ms. Connie and Sir Francis are very considerate with our requests especially the early check-in because we arrived too early at their place (drove from Caticlan from 10pm to Dumangas). We desperately need a place to stay since it's around 3am and we have kids and a senior with us. The place is safe and there is a parking area. The room itself is big enough for our group (7 people). They also prepared some towels and snacks upon our arrival. We slept comfortably, safe and sound. The place is near to our relatives' house (perfect for our stay in Dumangas) and has an easy access to basic necessities (Dumangas Plaza). Thank you so much Ms. Connie and God bless!

This is my 2nd time booking casa de lois and i was never disappointed. The place was tidy, exactly the same as seen on photos, cozy and feels right at home. Staffs were polite, friendly and very accomodating. Miss jen is a great host and i highly recommend her place to everyone!

I feel so lucky to have found Shelly’s place first! The cute nest felt so homey, I felt like staying a little bit more if my schedule was not as tight. The place felt comfortable as you have everything you need to stay at home. It also felt safe as the gate is very sturdy, you don’t need to worry about the shoes you leave outside the door 😊. On top of everything, ckeanliness is impeccable. Just be prepared to have your own internet if you still want to be connected to the world, but if you need a bit more of peace and quiet, Shelly’s place is perfect.

The entire stay was wonderful, 10/10! The sunset view from the balcony is spectacular. As an Iloilo local, I can say that this unit is one of the places that has the perfect sunset view within the city.

I loved staying here with a scooter, being able to park it right outside the house. The swimming pool is a 2 minute walk and costs 200 pesos for each person the first time you use it, 50 pesos per child and 100 pesos thereafter. There also are basketball courts on the property. The upstairs sink didn't work, so I just used the shower for everything. If you don't have a car or scooter then you can take trikes and taxis from here. Overall I liked it here very much, staying about 6 weeks it was like living at home in a nice quiet neighborhood.

The big blue house was a great place to stay for big or small groups. The house very big and well maintained, big bedroom big living room big balcony and big kitchen. The wifi was a bit problematic but in the end its cover our needs. The real asset of the house is gema the caretaker she was very nice and helpful. Also I must to mention that Alexander the host was Very considerate, during the pandemic our trip was delayed many times Alexander was very flexible with our arrival even that airbnb support didn't help much Alexander find a way to help. If you are look for a nice place in iloilo city the big blue house is the answer
