Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Guimarães

The house is as it appears in the photos. It's very nice. It offers a setting in nature and with total tranquility to spend a few days of total rest and reading. It is also close to Braga and Guimaraes if you want to go on excursions. There is a restaurant very close by that you can walk to and eat well. Concensao is super friendly and very nice, always attentive if you need anything. Although she lives upstairs, it is a totally private space.

Accommodation exactly as in the photos, quiet location, practical for being a few meters from a market and other points of interest. About 10 minutes by car to the center of Guimarães. Self check-in was super practical and with the password we had access to the safe with the keys. The house was extremely clean and the central heating was certainly a differential, providing the necessary thermal comfort on the coldest days we were there. When we arrived at the site, the house was already heated! The kitchen is well equipped and served us beyond our expectations. The garage accommodates a large car well, as it has a table for socializing. It's a great family accommodation. If you are looking for tranquility with comfort, this is the ideal space.

Very good stay at Joaquina's! The accommodation was perfect and had everything we needed for our stay. The terrace with table and barbecue is a big plus. Joaquina was very attentive to us by handing us the keys late at night and welcoming us with small sweets. We will definitely be back during our next stay.

The accommodation, in the center of the city, is as it appears in the photos: a country house in the middle of the city. Antonio is very friendly and helpful. We had a bit of a problem with the bathroom I fix it quickly and very effectively. Undoubtedly to recommend and go back!!

Beautiful tranquil little converted farmhouse. All the amenities you need, lovely pool and very friendly dog. It is walkable to supermarket and local bars or a cab to Guimarães is very cheap. Our host was very friendly and helpful throughout.

Wow, what an experience! Gabriela’s graciousness in hosting us was a highlight of our journey. The apartment is a history buffs dream, as the building and the building’s location is rich with history. Gabriela’s personalized touches made the experience all the more better. Including a wonderful story of the building history and it’s familial ties. Finally, prior to my arrival we received all kinds of wonderful recommendations including: where to park, restaurants to try, and all the information that might need for the apartment. I highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking to take in the beautiful city of Guimarães!

The apartment is great, renovated and comfortable. The stay was quite pleasant The location is perfect, in the central region, it has a full range of services and catering. Visitar Guimarães was amazing. Being at Teresa's apartment made the visit more enjoyable and practical. I recommend.

This location is right in the heart of the historical centre. All the amenities one would need are a stone’s throw away from the supermarket (Froiz) to the many restaurants to choose from. The night life here on the weekend is when the city comes to life with people coming from all over to enjoy the atmosphere. The studio itself is perfectly suited to a couple and is fully kitted out with Smeg appliances for that extra awesomeness! It was a pleasure to enjoy the ambiance of this property which overlooks a small square and you can watch the world go by. I will be back for sure!

I highly recommend Maria as a host. His daughter welcomed me very well, explained everything and showed me the common or private rooms in the apartment for me because I had my room and my bathroom/wc . The apartment is on the 6th floor but it's very quiet.

Nice apartment not too far from the city center. Living room a little noisy, but the bedrooms are very peaceful. Communication with Maria is short but effective.

Joao was a super great host, very helpful and very flexible on check in which he met us personally to give us a walk through of everything. Very responsive and the place was perfect with a little garden to have coffee in the morning. Great location and enough provisions for our short stay. Highly recommend!

The apartment is very cozy, clean and very spacious. A very communicative host, responds quickly to messages. We received very accurate directions to the apartment, which was very helpful. Location a short walk from the center, but for us it was not a problem - we wanted the apartment to be close to the university (about 10 minutes walk to the university). I would definitely recommend this place!

There were many things we loved about the apartment - the space and layout were perfect for our traveling party, and the location cannot be beat! Everything you could need or want is an easy walk away, yet the high-quality windows and 6th floor location kept the noise and bustle to a minimum. The shower was a good size and as long as no one was washing dishes, had consistently good hot water and great water pressure. We had plenty of storage for all of our things and room to spread out when needed. The biggest drawback was we found the furniture, including beds, to be a bit low for our liking but that's a very individual preference. Note if your party has mobility issues, there are about 7 steps to reach the elevator.
