This place is beautiful and so worth the money! It’s probably the best value AirBnB I’ve been too. Fernandes is great, the view is amazing, the accomodation it self was wonderful. Fernandes gave me some leaves from his garden which I used to make a tea and dinner with. Highly reccomend ☀️

I arrived a few hours before the agreed check-in time. Nevertheless, they responded very quickly and someone arrived promptly. The accommodation has everything you need for a stay. The hostel is within easy walking distance of the train station. You can be in the city or at the nearest supermarket in just a few minutes. I also found the friendly people who work there particularly positive.

We had a wonderful stay with Stefan and Lilian. The sweetest hosts! The house and the place are even more beautiful in reality than in the pictures. A perfect place to slow down. The hosts grow the most delicious vegetables, which you can buy from them. The warmest recommendations from here.

I spent one night at the home of Filomena with three friends and it was amazing. It has a double bed and a large sofa bed (without separation, it is ideal for groups of friends or families), kitchen equipped with hob and all utensils, barbecue, and the best part of all - the pool! It is a great pool and it was exclusive to us, with lots of privacy, lawn with loungers, a treat. Filomena was very considerate and the husband Francisco who received us as well. It was a memorable experience and I recommend 100%.

Where do you start? First of all, we received a great welcome from the owners. They are charming, present but not intrusive at all. They are very attentive, worried if everything is going well. Then, the property is excellent. Splendid views of the vineyard. It's super quiet. The pool is lovely with beautiful views too. Amazing breakfasts. The accommodation is as described, clean, not overlooked and also has views of the vineyard and river. In short, everything comes together for a great stay. We loved our stay at Rosa’s. The house is beautiful and has everything you need. We made great use of the bbq and pool which was a real luxury. Nothing was too much trouble and Rosa’s family were extremely helpful. We will definitely go back. X

Very nice, quiet and pretty place. A nice pool in a beautifully decorated garden. small problem: no microwave, no salad spinner, lack of salad bowls (1 is not enough) no pots and few cutlery, no trash cans. no soap, strange shampoo for this level of service.

The house is located in a very quiet place with a very good view despite the trees. The location is very good but access is a little limited. We spent two very good nights and enjoyed the small balcony a lot. The internet was the only less positive point. An experience to repeat no doubt!

My wife and I stayed here with our toddler for a few days and absolutely loved our time. The property is beautiful and very private. Our toddler loved playing outside and looking at the goats and ducks within view of the house. The hosts went above and beyond by welcoming us with wine, cheese, and bread which was a great surprise. This was the perfect location for us visit local wineries, day trip into the Douro region, and relax after staying in Lisbon. Also, we highly recommend making a reservation to eat at the hosts restaurant, Restaurante Pena, during your stay. Our meals were incredible.

Excellent place to enjoy the beauty of Minho and, in particular, Gerês. The house is located in an extremely quiet place and has all the amenities for a quiet, comfortable and relaxing stay. The house was clean and fresh, so because it's too hot outside, the inside of the house stays cool. We never needed to turn on the AC. It has excellent Wi-Fi, a huge pool, and the owners are extremely friendly and concerned that nothing is missing. We had a small mishap with the hot water (which was warm) and in less than 12 hours the situation was resolved. The house does not have a cable TV service, which for us is something we privilege when we are at home, but the owners provided us with a TV so that we could connect to the computer and have access to all the channels associated with our TV service. We just needed to take the computer and the connection cable. 5 stars! When we return to Gerês, we will not fail to consider the possibility of staying here. We lived a few days in a real haven of peace. Past the aspects, let's say amazing, of the path to the accommodation, we were charmed by the hospitality of our hosts, Lise and Patrick. The dogs are very affectionate and quiet. The horses are not left out either (and a little pranky). The totally free access to green spaces, the pool, the barbecue area is an undeniable plus. Lovers of nature and peace, look no further for your place. In addition, housed in this natural environment, you will have plenty of time to explore the surrounding nature, on foot or by car. We had a nice stay at La Quinta. We'll be able to come back someday ...

You do share a bathroom, which I missed when I read about the place. But it was clean and quiet and we had a very nice night’s sleep. Antoni was very quick to answer our text questions. All went very well.

Very close to the city centre. Clean and easy to access. Amenities as listed. Lots of restaurants and places worth visiting nearby.

Everything was perfect. Check-in with a very polite receptionist, showing us the place immediately and providing instructions for anything we would need. The place is great to spend time with the kids: swimming pool, football field, volleyball field, a small basketball court, 2 snooker tables, disco, table football. Break fast wasn't great but wasn't bad at all. It was good enough. Definitely worth the price! Thank you very much for this stay

Great view and excellent reception, super friendly and always available!

Lise owns a wonderful place in the hills beyond Braga, with a swimmable reservoir (lake) nearby (walkable) and much to discover. The house is as described and we found a very thing workable and clean. Our dogs got on well with her’s and the gardens are huge so they could run around a lot. The swimming pool is great and cold to freshen up, a joint kitchen with adjacent BBQ was used more than once!! All in all, a wonderful find and a really good experience. You are in nature, mind. Phone coverage is sometimes sketchy, and insects may show themselves in garden or occasionally inside, but nothing at all out of what can be expected in such a natural place. Other guests were nice, too, so a bit of social around kitchen or pool (or BBQ) are a definite possibility. We will return happily if the region calls our name next.
