Historic house maintained in very good taste. We were very well received and the communication with the host was great. Everything was very clean. Very comfortable and cozy house, nothing was missing, we felt at home! We miss the house and the environment that surrounds it. Thank you for everything!

Our stay was wonderful! The house was exactly as in the photos: clean, cozy and very well equipped. The bed was super comfortable, and there was everything we needed to feel at home — from kitchen utensils to small details like coffee and tea available. The location was also perfect and the host was extremely attentive and always responded very quickly to our messages, giving good recommendations about the area and ensuring that everything went well during our stay. We definitely recommend this Airbnb and would stay here again on a future visit!

Very nice house, rather spacious, completely faithful to the photos. All three bedrooms are upstairs. Perfect for 6 people. Ideally located to visit the north of Portugal without being far from Porto. Stores within 10 min and the train station 5 min away allows you to reach Porto in 50 min for €2.90! The house is spacious, beautiful, well decorated and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The garden is very pleasant and provided some good evenings playing cards with the family. The location is quiet, but close to beautiful areas to visit (if you are by car). An excellent choice for a few days of rest, with the beauty of the green and the river.

I highly recommend it. Very spacious house with well-ventilated and well-cleaned spaces, comfortable for large families. The host João Ricardo was generous, attentive and available and helpful with any questions.

We stayed for more than a week at Manuela's place and had a great time. Manuela and her son Daniel were very welcoming from the check-in till then end of the stay (thanks for the delicious port wine!). The house is better than the pictures - cozy living room, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and lovely garden ... with a hot tub! Porto old city is 20mins drive, Aveiro is 40mins and Douro Valley is around 1.20mins from the place. There is a lovely restaurant by the river around 500mts away. Steep down and uphill walk but amazing views and very good traditional Portugese food. Good to have own transport (you can park inside or on the street) but there is a bus stop just few feet away from the house (we didn't use it as we had our own car). Overall a lovely stay. Thanks Manuela and Daniel for hosting us!

Large house, airy, clear, comfortable, well supplied and assorted with kitchen utensils, cleaning supplies and household appliances, all according to the listing and the photos. Great pool with floating accessories. Local withdrawn and quiet, but with easy access to various cities and beaches. Carla and her family's service and friendliness note 10. Super recommend it!

We were extremly happy with the villa. Enough space, it was clean and with the facilities like tennis court, jacuzzi and pool table you always habe something to do even when you dont visit the cities or the beach. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. They were very reliable and quick with questions and help. We would definitly book this villa again!

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was beautifully furnished, very well equipped, and located in a peaceful spot right by the sea. Perfect for relaxing. We felt completely at home and would love to come back anytime!

Great, I can say without fear of making a mistake, it's the best place we've ever been to. The house is spectacular, everything is designed to enjoy and to relax and you get it. The pool, whirlpool, ponds and their frogs, billiards, soccer field, etc and all the magical corners of this house. Inside is also great and very comfortable, you can miss some more bathroom in some of the rooms but otherwise it's all fantastic. The host is attentive when you need it but leaves you with the necessary intimacy. In short, a really fantastic experience.

Very pleasant space, with a privileged view of the mountains, a very quiet place ideal for a weekend of rest and to escape the routine. Very clean cabin with everything you need for a weekend.

A truly memorable stay. The landscape was breathtaking — wildflowers, birdsong, horses, and morning mist over the valley created a dreamlike atmosphere. The spa facilities and infinity pool, set against stunning views, were especially restorative. The cabin is compact but surrounded by natural beauty. We loved waking to the sounds of birds and nearby waterfall — simply idyllic. There was occasional noise from grounds maintenance, but it didn’t detract too much from the overall impression. The host was communicative and flexible with our arrival time. Thoughtful touches like the welcome wine and chocolate cake made us feel right at home. Everything was smooth and easy, and we found some fantastic local restaurants. The surrounding area is full of charm, with quiet walks, friendly people, and views we’ll never forget. We spent our days exploring and simply soaking it all in. This place made us fall in love with Portugal — we’re already looking forward to returning. Thank you!

This is a stunning place secluded away from anything nearby. Great for a retreat to be restful, listen to nature and admire the beautiful horses. Cheila was an incredible host, super responsive to any questions or comments and gave us some beautiful lemons from her tree. The house is really well throughout and all amenities are included. I loved the place!!! The lady who attended to us was super friendly and attentive, I was celebrating my birthday and she left a little gift for me🤍, I was super happy and amazed at everything! It was a very pleasant surprise! It really is on high, it has phenomenal landscapes !! I loved it and highly recommend it! I'm just grateful for the hospitality

It's an incredible place😍 to fully enjoy nature, sleep with the sound of the river in the background and wake up with the beautiful view of the trees. It's spectacular. The cabins are beautiful. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and the pool. Manuela is a wonderful host, attentive, very kind and close. We felt at home. I'll definitely repeat the experience.

An ideal place for family vacations. Our 3 year old son was delighted with the casita and the animals, I didn't want to say goodbye to them. We'll be back for sure!
