Jenstad is the starting point for trips to Åmotan where 4 rivers meet with 3 fantastic waterfalls. You will stay 5-10 minutes walk from the canyon where the water is thrown down and ends in a shower where the rainbow shows itself on sunny days. You live on the farm Jenstad with historic buildings from the 18th century where history can be read in every log both inside and outside. Please note that the room height inside the apartment is about 195 cm with a supporting kettle that is approx. 170 cm between the entrance and the living room.

The farm is located about 10 km from the center of Lillehammer(not walking distance)with a great view of southern part of Lillehammer. The apartment is on the top floor of the main house and contains 1 bedroom with double bed, 1 bedroom with bunk bed, 1 bathroom, well-equipped kitchen, dining room with sleeping alcove and a large living room where some space can be converted into a sleeping alcove. There are opportunities to make use of the garden and outdoor area. We have 6 chickens and 2 cats.

We tailor short or long trips. Drive your own dog team! From us, it's a short distance to the mountain. It's five minutes to the grocery store. It is about 15 minutes to Dombås and about 35 minutes to Bjorli. Both locations have run-up ski slopes and alpine facilities. Bjorli also has a climbing park.
