Waterfront holiday rentals in Guarda District

Nous avons loué tout l'etage pour 5 personnes: 3 chambres doubles, une cuisine avec une terrasse fermée, et deux salles de bains. L'appartement est très fonctionel, bien tenu et bien placé. Nous conseillons!

Ruhe am Wasser (am Ende der Welt) Die Unterkunft war erst nach telefonischer Rückfrage zu finden, obwohl es nur wenige Gebäude im Ort hat. Dieser liegt SEHR abgeschieden, wer länger bleiben will, sollte gut einkaufen. Es hatte lediglich zwei Cafes und ein (geschlossenes) Restaurant dort. Der nächste Laden ist etwa eine 1/2 Stunde Autofahrt entfernt. Eine Anreise mit dem Zug wäre jedoch ebenfalls möglich. Es liegt jedoch traumhaft schön direkt am Fluss und der Verkehr an Schiffen, Zügen und Autos lässt sich fast zählen. Besonders hat mir die Umgebung mit den vielen Blumen, der Zugang zum Wasser und die vielen Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten im Freien gefallen, sowohl am Schatten, als auch an der Sonne. Wer eine Bootstour machen will, braucht nicht wegzufahren, der Gastgeber macht ebenfalls solche. Ebenfalls kann man bei ihm Boote mieten, Tipps zum Fischen gab es dazu. Die Unterkunft ist ihren Preis wert, ist gut ausgestattet und Parkplätze am Schatten hat es auch. Besten Dank an alle

This is a lovely apartment with parking and elevator. The view from the balcony is stunning! Maria was very sweet and helpful. We had difficulty finding the location and Maria and I did not speak the same language so she had someone call me back that spoke English to help me find the location and answer any questions. Great location, great apartment. highly recommend :)

Fernando was a welcoming host, and even shared a 50 year old Porto with us. The house is a true gem, filled with antiques, and everything modern that subtly goes along with that. It was comfortable, the beds had the best linens, it was clean, and bright. The view and surroundings of the duoro Valley and the towns could not have been better. I wish to return if we ever come back to this beautiful area.

Andre's place is in a great location in the Douro Valley. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Casa de Manteigas is a perfect base to explore the fabulous Serra Da Estrela. Deceptively spacious, very comfy bedrooms and plush new bathrooms. The balcony means that you can sit outside with a glass of wine or a cup of tea and enjoy views over the village. We would highly recommend and plan on returning.

We loved our stay at Caroline’s place. The location could not have been more perfect for exploring the Douro Valley. We loved the terrace overlooking the river, incredible views. The apartment was beautifully renovated and spacious. I would highly recommend staying here if your travels bring you to the Douro Valley. Thank you for an amazing stay!

What a wonderful little estate setting to stay at. Beautiful surroundings all around, very private & peaceful. The apartment has a great layout with spectacular bathrooms and a huge kitchen & living room area. Carlos was quick to respond to any questions. The inground pool is lovely, sadly the weather was not hot enough for a dip. Great location with a quick 90min drive to Porto. Surrounding cities within 30 minutes like Viseu.

A casa ainda é melhor do que parece nas fotos e na descrição. Grande e confortavel, com tudo o que pode ser necessario. O espaço exterior é otimo, eramos 10 pessoas e havia espaços para todos, o deck tem vistas maravilhosos onde passamos as tardes e espaço para os miudos brincarem e jogarem à bola. As camas eram confortaveis e como eram no piso superior permitam ter uma separação do barulho no piso inferior. O Carlos esteve sempre disponível, foi um otimo anfitrião, com respostas rapidas e sempre disponível. é um sitio a voltar em grupo.

This place is absolutely amazing — it exceeded all our expectations! In real life, it looks even better than in the photos. Getting there was very easy, and there’s a large parking area right on the property, so we felt totally safe leaving our car. The views from the rooms and the living area are simply unreal — breathtaking. Inside, the house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It was spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and had such a pleasant atmosphere. The hosts were wonderful — very responsive and helpful, and arranging check-in and check-out was smooth and easy. The entire property is stunning and well cared for. You will definitely enjoy your stay here. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect getaway in Douro!

Casa limpa e acolhedora, com aquecimento em todas as divisões, o que torna um ambiente agradável. Lugar calmo, ideal para umas férias em familia. Anfitrião super responsivo e atencioso, que nos deixou fazer o check out mais tarde, para que pudéssemos ter um almoço de Páscoa tranquilo. Tivemos a sorte de acordar, abrir a janela e ver a neve a cair! Tudo maravilhoso! Recomendamos!

Para quem quer paz, sossego e uns dias longe da confusão, este é o local ideal! Com uma vista privilegiada sobre o Douro, churrasqueira e uma piscina que chegava aos 29º, o que podemos pedir mais? A casa estava limpa, o ar condicionado e o Wi-Fi funcionavam sem problemas e deixaram-nos uns miminhos (mais do que era preciso até) para o nosso pequeno almoço. Obrigada! O anfitrião era super acessível, simpático e preocupado e levou-nos no seu barco a dar um passeio pelo nosso lindo rio Douro. Super aconselho!

A casa da Maria Emilia é um recanto de paz e sossego. Fiquei dois meses em dezembro e janeiro e foi tudo ótimo! A casa é bem equipada com todo o necessário para uma estadia de férias em família excelente! A Maria é uma super anfitriã. Recomendo muito !

Smooth self-service check in and out. Excellent location close to all restaurants, train station and historical pedestrian bridge across the river. Railway is right by the house, but it didn't bother us because trains didn't operate at night. Host recommended a free parking nearby, which was helpful. Host was very responsive, and they provided a carafe of a tasty local port wine, bottled water and cookies for us to have on arrival, a really nice touch. Apartment is fully equipped with everything we needed to spend time in Douro. Highly recommended!

We only spent one night here, but can see that this would be a delightful spot for a lovely relaxing family holiday. The swimming pool looked very inviting and the grounds are beautiful and peaceful. Gabriela is a thoroughly friendly and charming host. The apartment was immaculate and spacious. Being unfamiliar with the area, it was a bit tricky to locate at night in the dark, but well worth the challenge! Obrigado Gabriela!
