Holiday rentals with beach access in Guarda District

Peace on the water (at the end of the world) The accommodation was only found after a telephone inquiry, although there are only a few buildings in the village. This is VERY secluded, if you want to stay longer, you should shop well. There were only two cafes and one (closed) restaurant there. The nearest store is about a 1/2 hour drive away. However, it would also be possible to arrive by train. However, it is fantastically beautiful, right on the river, and the traffic of ships, trains and cars can almost be counted. I particularly liked the surroundings with the many flowers, the access to the water and the many seating and lounging options outdoors, both in the shade and in the sun. If you want to take a boat trip, you don't have to go away, the host also does such. You can also rent boats from him, and he gave us tips for fishing. We absolutely enjoyed the village and the surroundings, the woods, the river, the fountain, the friendly locals, and the peacefulness with the birds songs as the only sound around!

If you want quiet cute old village stay. We stayed for a month and enjoyed watching the river and the start of the changing of the leaves. The house is ready to move in how ever long you want to stay with everything needed. The host is very nice.I would come back

We hat a wonderful time at Susanas house. We stayed with 6 persons for one week. The house and especially the kitchen was well equipped and was located in a nice, small and very quiet village. The local people were very kind and helped us to find the house. The area is special - as you can have nice walks in the Sierra Estrella or enjoy swimming in the nearby river in the Praia Fluvial Vale do Mondego. Within 10mins car drive you have shopping opportunities in Celorico de Beira. Communication with Susana was always super easy, nice, and helpful. We enjoyed the stay and can definitely recommend the house and area, best wishes Marc

We spent a wonderful time in this house. Easy access to the house to unload the suitcases, very clean, with plenty of utensils, dishwasher. Pedro left in the house products of dishes, toilet paper, napkins, salt, among other useful things, and also prepared the jacuzzi before our arrival so it was hot! We went with our 18-month-old and had a lot of fun, loved the jacuzzi! You learned to climb stairs in this house! 😁 The area is very quiet, perfect for relaxing. We caught good weather during the day and went to the beach in Mangualde. Little bustling, calm. At night it's cooler and knew how to end the day with a hot shower with a lot of pressure. We recommend this space and think back in the winter! Thanks Pedro!

It is a Lovely place in the middle of nowhere (that nowhere you have to take literally), great views on the mountains. The hosts were very caring and with a lot of knowledge of what to see or visite. Great place to really relax.

Hosts dedicated to the space they own. Pleasant space. BAR full of good wine, beers and juices. Just bring the meat to roast and the farm has all the conditions you need to have a good time.

A wonderful haven, perfect to get away for a couple of days or a couple of months :) Beautiful views and a great host, always attentive but not intrusive. Gorgeous views and very comfortable beds. Relaxing atmosphere made us feel at home. Nothing negative to say about it. Will return.
