Villa holiday rentals in Guarda District

The only aspect that you can limit for longer stays and needs more luggage: there is no private parking and the street of the house is in a “historic” area, difficult to circulate cars. But the area is very beautiful, picturesque, and all the other great features of the house and hostess far outweigh this fact.

Very nice Home with Garage for small car. Nise Design, good placed. In the House we have found everything what we need. Also some spices and Oil for cooking were there. Tiago have us some suggestions for Restaurants and Highlights near. We had a great time in Loriga.

We spent a week and it was better than we expected. The house has everything you need, it has everything and it's beautiful. The tranquility helps you disconnect completely and the rest is total. A real wonder!!!!! 100% recommended. Super friendly and helpful hosts. Many thanks from the heart...

We enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable and it was nice having two bathrooms. The patio was nice to enjoy too with great views all around. We had a car with us and we're able to park it across the street in an off street parking space. Julio was kind to give us a quick talk about the region and a taste of his delicious port wine.

It was a Pazer staying at this place. Very clean and tidy, and the space was exactly as described! Excellent communication with the Host who helped us with everything! In addition to having facilitated the Check in, we still left the air on for greater comfort! And it also gave us some mimimhos; an excellent Mel that everyone loved and some fantastic Kiwis! Absolutely magical place to stay. Visiting the Douro is all about slowing down, relaxing, reconnecting and exploring. The Green House is the perfect place to experience all these things. The house is huge and so spacious allowing us to spread out and have our own space. Equipped with everything and more that you need. The kitchen was amazingly equipped and we enjoyed family dinners and game nights sitting on the terrace looking out at one of the most beautiful views in the world. The host was kind, responsive and provided some many special touches and amenities. Comfy robes and slippers for all, sun hats to borrow, bathroom toiletries, and a fully stocked kitchen with extra special food and drink,so no need to even go to the store as you settle in. We even enjoyed listening to Fado on the vintage record player. Stay at the Green House as your base for exploring the Douro Valley and you will not want to leave!

We were very pleased with our stay at RedHouse in Tarouca. The house is impeccably well cared for, comfortable and equipped with everything you need for a quiet few days. We found it in excellent condition, clean and welcoming. A special highlight goes to the gentleman who welcomed us — extremely friendly, attentive and always available to help. They made us feel truly welcome.

A really lovely house in a really lovely location. The house is beautifully designed and spacious. The views from the terrace over the vineyards and over the valley are stunning.

Old but very cosy house! Township had all the necessary utensils in a house.

A beautiful property and location! A bit remote but a quick drive to the main road and town (be aware the road up to the house is hilly but well lit at night and easier once you know where to go). Eurico was so nice and takes amazing care of the property! He was very helpful and we loved our stay. The pool is wonderful, and kitchen had everything you need to cook. We hope to return!

Our stay was fantastic! The house is extremely comfortable and perfect for a group of friends. We took full advantage of the pool, barbecue and dining room. It is a house with beautiful and peaceful decor, ideal for relaxing and enjoying good times together. It allowed us to get out of the hustle and bustle of everyday life and have a good rest. We highly recommend it and will certainly come back!

Really excellent and large house that has been tastefully updated and renovated to modern standards. Great for our multi-family vacation to the Douro Valley. The kitchen was large with excellent modern appliances, and the entertainment room and grounds were ideal for our children. This is an excellent place to rent in the Douro Valley.

Carla's space is perfect for a getaway both as a couple and family as was our case. The apartments are very well equipped and the spaces are spacious. The common areas are great for great meals and partying. The pool area, with music is fantastic if you go in summer. The kids had a great time with the horses too. And being able to book some massages in the space itself, it was a pinch.

House with history, beautifully decorated with contemporary design combined with vintage style. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds and all with well-equipped private bathrooms. Well air-conditioned building. The house is well equipped to house large groups. I recommend it.

Such a beautiful and tranquil and space! The house was clean, the pool was a perfect place to lounge and everyone we met on-site during the day was wonderful.

we had a very pleasant week in this quiet house with very beautiful landscapes. the pool nearby refreshed us well and made the children happy. the house is typical and nice the outdoor shower is very nice in summer. Teresa is a very nice person and very available.

Our stay at this place was UNREAL! The views was like something taken from a movie with its hills and scenery. Jose, the host we were in contact with, made the whole stay even better! The wine tour was incredible and informative and having access to the pool during these hot days was incredible. The comments said the pool was private but in the booking it says shared pool. But I imagine the pool is restricted to the ones in the houses, not the camping. Overall, an incredible stay!! Will definitely come back some day!

This place is absolutely heaven on earth. josse, who host us was very friendly welcoming and kind. his hospitality was more then extraordinary. it was easy to get there by car, the nature around is absolutely stunning and breathless! the river is few minutes walking. the house is comfortable, clean and the acoustic is great with a lot of privacy. nice place to come and relax. for the ones who like to hike is also great for that. the aria full of options. the closest super market is 20 min away also easy to find! we had a great time, and it's highly recommended!

We had a very relaxing time at João’s place. The surroundings are beautiful and calm, the apartment was very nice and clean. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

I don't think you could ever tire of the views from Quinta do Fraguil. They're breathtaking - we kept taking just one more photo! It's so special to be able to see so far into the distance and right down to the bottom of the valley. Even the local viewing point didn't match it! From start to finish, Rui was a friendly and really responsive host. He made us feel confident as soon as we had booked that we were going to be staying somewhere special. He turned up to meet us when we arrived and was in really good contact any time we needed to ask him anything before or during our stay. The pool is a total highlight - a good size and really clean. The house itself was also really clean and tastefully furnished. The outside eating area was perfect and made you feel happy to stay 'at home' and cook! We had sunshine every day and warm evenings sitting outside. This is the sort of place that you feel really sad to leave at the end of your holiday and one that you're very likely to visit again.

Very comfortable house, bigger than it looks in the photos. Extremely clean. D. Madalena is an excellent host, who does the check-in/out in person and even brought us more firewood. The garden is cute, but it's not fully fenced. It has air-conditioning in all rooms.

Patrick is very nice. His family welcomed us in. If you want a peaceful vacation it’s the place. Great pool (deep end is deep).
