Family-friendly holiday rentals in Guarda District

We loved our stay at this charming farm! The beauty and tranquility of this place is beyond words. The houses on the farm are beautifully decorated and the host was super welcoming. The highlight of our stay was definitely the chance to disconnect from daily life and simply enjoy nature. We visited the nearby villages and hiked to the top of the Serra da Estrela, which was an unforgettable experience. We spent our days exploring the vast lands and admiring the stunning views of the surrounding countryside. In the evenings, we kicked back in the hammocks, enjoying the mountain breeze and the sound of birds chirping in the distance. The local cheese was a real treat, it was one of the tastiest cheeses I've ever had! All in all, our stay at this farm was an experience we will never forget. We returned home feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. I would highly recommend this farm to anyone looking for a natural getaway. Thank you so much for sharing your little slice of paradise with us!

Absolutely beautiful, stylish home. It was huge! It would be a wonderful place to come with a small group or for a family. We were just a couple but loved it just as much! The Jacuzzi tub was great and the beds were comfortable. We wished we could have stayed longer. Very good value for the space. Host was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend.

Nous avons séjourné chez Rui et nous avons adoré la maison, mieux que dans les photos ! la maison est très belle et ne manque de rien, petit panier de bienvenue très sympa,merci beaucoup ! nous avons été avec notre bébé , ils sont préparés son petit lit avec des couvertures et une serviette spécial pour lui, c'est très sympathique de votre part ☺️ maison très propre et très bien aménagé. c'était une magnifique séjour ! on reviendra ça c'est sûr. A casa da Maria Emilia é um recanto de paz e sossego. Fiquei dois meses em dezembro e janeiro e foi tudo ótimo! A casa é bem equipada com todo o necessário para uma estadia de férias em família excelente! A Maria é uma super anfitriã. Recomendo muito !

Such a beautiful little house. The setting is paradise. View out the front window is spectacular. The town is peaceful and the neighbours are very friendly. The house had everything we needed for a couple with a small dog. The owner left milk, delicious bread, butter and condiments as well as local jam and honey. The bed was large, lots of English TV stations if you like that, internet was fast. The highway to get there is a series of million dollar views. 3 minute drive from a small beach with a crystal clear stream to swim in that we had all to ourselves all week. Sitting out front drinking coffee is an orchestra of birds singing. Nights are silent, we slept like babies. The owner let us check in early and the manager was there to meet us and show us how everything worked. After that, total privacy. Kitchen was well equipped and everything was top quality and modern. We will definitely be back.

tout était parfait. nous avions peur suite aux réactions des voyageurs concernant les cloches et finalement on n'y a pas beaucoup prêté attention, même la nuit. Le logement était très bien pour 2 ou 3 s'il y a un jeune enfant. Très bon restaurant à Tabuaço et la vallée du Douro magnifique. Randonnées aux départ du village. Nous conseillons.

Sítio bucólico e isolado com um acesso próprio à ribeira de água limpa. Ao fim do dia costumavam passar dois Serra da Estrela provavelmente atraídos pelo cheiro do barbecue 😆

Ruhe am Wasser (am Ende der Welt) Die Unterkunft war erst nach telefonischer Rückfrage zu finden, obwohl es nur wenige Gebäude im Ort hat. Dieser liegt SEHR abgeschieden, wer länger bleiben will, sollte gut einkaufen. Es hatte lediglich zwei Cafes und ein (geschlossenes) Restaurant dort. Der nächste Laden ist etwa eine 1/2 Stunde Autofahrt entfernt. Eine Anreise mit dem Zug wäre jedoch ebenfalls möglich. Es liegt jedoch traumhaft schön direkt am Fluss und der Verkehr an Schiffen, Zügen und Autos lässt sich fast zählen. Besonders hat mir die Umgebung mit den vielen Blumen, der Zugang zum Wasser und die vielen Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten im Freien gefallen, sowohl am Schatten, als auch an der Sonne. Wer eine Bootstour machen will, braucht nicht wegzufahren, der Gastgeber macht ebenfalls solche. Ebenfalls kann man bei ihm Boote mieten, Tipps zum Fischen gab es dazu. Die Unterkunft ist ihren Preis wert, ist gut ausgestattet und Parkplätze am Schatten hat es auch. Besten Dank an alle

Nuestra estancia ha sido perfecta. Teresa y Jorge son unos anfitriones maravillosos, que nos han mimado durante toda nuestra estancia. Están siempre disponibles y buscando satisfacer cualquier deseo o necesidas que pudieramos tener. La casa es realmente peculiar y especial, llena de historia y bonita decoración, antiguedades y detalles exquisitos. Niños y adultos hemos estado tan cómodos con la piscina, el clima, la barbacoa, el mobiliario exterior,... que hemos disfrutado más la casa que las obligadas visitas turísticas de la ciudad e la zona. Recomendable al 100%

Casa impecável, tanto na limpeza, como nas comodidades oferecidas. Perfeita para uma estadia de férias em família ou com amigos. A sala de jogos e a piscina oferecerem intermináveis bons momentos de convívio. Tanto a Aida como a Paula foram impecáveis e sempre disponíveis. A D. Aida é de uma imensa simpatia e uma excelente anfitriã que, mesmo estando longe, nunca deixou de se preocupar com o nosso bem estar na casa. O nosso muito obrigada!
