Holiday rentals in Gromignana

We stayed for 5 night and enjoyed this large, well appointed two story apartment. The place was warm and inviting and was an authentic home to be a unique setting. My family enjoyed the surroundings and there was plenty of restaurants to close from. Be prepared to tackle the 52 steps to the apartment door which my 90 year old mother managed twice a day. Keeps you healthy.

This was an incredible and relaxing getaway—we honestly wish we had stayed longer. The tower is just as magical as the photos, and the views, olive grove, and pool were even better than expected. The surrounding town is darling and quiet, with just a couple of small restaurants and markets, which made it feel like a true escape. Luca was kind and responsive throughout our stay. Just a few things to note: there are a lot of stairs, and you’ll want a smaller car to navigate the narrow roads leading up to the tower. It’s a real castle, so it’s older and rustic—but full of charm and clearly loved. The only downside was that the hot tub on the roof no longer works, which was a bit of a letdown. Still, we absolutely loved our time here and would highly recommend it.

My husband and I, plus our French Bulldog, had the pleasure of staying here for just over 3 weeks. Immediately felt like home, and host family had everything to do with that! Highly recommend. stunning views, fabulous location and some of the most gracious people I've ever met.

Agriturismo all'interno di un borghetto piccolo e coccolo. Se si vuole staccare dalla quotidianità questo è il posto ideale! Se volete un pò di vita,invece, c'è Barga! un borgo davvero suggestivo. Vista incredibile, anche dalla piscina che sta a pochissimi passi dall'alloggio, e host sempre disponibile! Colazione ricca e completa (anche salata con frittata/prosciutto/formaggio/salumi). Grande attenzione anche per i più piccolini con tantissimi gonfiabili per la piscina, tavolo ping pong, calcio balilla e giochi di legno/da tavola con cui divertirsi! Attenzione per chi ha macchine grosse/basse o ha poca dimestichezza di manovra perché l'entrata al borgo è molto stretta e ripida. Nel caso, oltre al parcheggio a disposizione dell'agriturismo, c'è qualche parcheggio disponibile sulla strada in alto. Unica nota un pò negativa è la comodità dei divani letti (come tutti i divani letto) ma visto tutto il contesto offerto si può anche soprassedere per qualche giorno!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in Christines sehr sauberem und authentischen Haus sehr genossen. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, die Aussicht phantastisch. Christine hatte uns zur Begrüßung Blumen hingstellt und die gesame Zeit innerhalb kürzester Zeit geantwortet, wenn wir Fragen hatten oder Hilfe brauchten. Das Haus liegt in einem abgelegenen, nur teilweise bewohnten jahrhundertealten Bergdorf. Wer in die Umstände einer anderen Zeit eintauchen will und Ruhe und Natur liebt, der ist hier goldrichtig! Vielen Dank Christine, dass du dieses Ferienhaus führst und pflegst!

An absolutely amazing villa with genuinely beautiful hosts! From the magnificent views outside to the luxurious toiletries and bed linen. Space a plenty, inside and out, and room to spare. Books galore. A delicious welcome pack of bread, cheese, salami, olive oil and wine. We had the added bonus of the giro d’italia being in town! Leonardo provided the beer, the chips, seating, company and we enjoyed the atmosphere, the cyclists and their accompanying entourages!!! Quiet area, short walk to Barga, small medieval town, with buckets of character. Plenty of gorgeous restaurants to choose from, though you’ll get everything you need in local supermarket for a great dinner in the villa. Well supplied kitchen and though we didn’t get the chance, plenty of opportunity to cook al fresco. Pool is great, clean and very welcome in full sun. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in dem Haus. Alessandro und seine Mutter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist sehr privat gelegen und wunderschön. Der Garten ist riesig und der Pool super für warme Tage. Gerne wieder!!

Lovely little place, perfect for a couple. Very peaceful, absolutely beautiful scenery. Very clean, with an amazing host. Would happily go back. The only thing I would say is, that the drive to the property can be challenging for drivers who don’t have a lot of confidence. Other than this, it’s an amazing house, lots of character, we loved it!
