Holiday rentals with lake access in Groene Hart

We had a very nice weekend at Frank's place. In good weather - if you can sit outside - this place is perfect. Amsterdam and Utrecht are easily and quickly accessible. The surroundings around the property are also very welcoming.

One of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed in! It was spotlessly clean (not a speck of dust anywhere!), everything had been thought of (including a welcome bottle of bubbles!), it was spacious, and very convenient for public transport....oh, and stylishly decorated! Being close to the train station meant that we could easily get into central Amsterdam, as well as go on day trips to Rotterdam and Zaanse Schans during our stay. Our favourite day was renting bikes in Zaanse Schans for the day and enjoying cycling through the countryside. Very happily recommend this place to others looking for a base near Amsterdam.

We had a wonderful time at this Airbnb! The house was the same as in the photos – very clean, cozily furnished and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. We particularly enjoyed the view of the water, which really made the stay special. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, communication went smoothly and we felt welcome from the beginning. Small extras such as a welcome greeting and local tips were also a nice surprise. We would come back anytime and can absolutely recommend this house!

We booked the house because it appealed to us from the reviews. Our expectations were far exceeded. We arrived at a house where we immediately felt at home. In the kitchen there is everything you need for daily use. Everything is very clean and tastefully decorated. Communication with Saskia was possible without any problems. We rented the house with a friendly couple and went home after a week very well recovered. We can recommend the house without hesitation. We would like to come back next autumn. This was already our 4th time in the Lakehouse but will not be the last time! This place is nice and cozy and offers so much. The location directly next to the lake is wonderful and the house offers everything you need, including a fantastic kitchen. Wendy is a very friendly and supportive host and therefore communication is always a pleasure! ☺️

We found the perfect spot to spend a few days in the Breukelen / Maarssen area. Able to live like a local by biking to shops and touring the area. Nicolette and Remko made our stay so pleasant and were very friendly to help with plans or a quick chat. The space inside was lovely and roomy. Lots of place to relax outside too. Great biking and boating in the area - follow their recommendations. Most welcoming hosts we have met. Thank you for everything.

We had a great time. The house and the facilities are great, everything you need for a relaxing stay is there. Everything was clean and tidy. Unfortunately the house was very cold when we arrived, the underfloor heating takes a while to warm up. If you arrive in the evening or in the dark, the access to the first jetty is a bit difficult to find, maybe a sign would help. But we can only recommend the house and will certainly come back again.

Perfect for one or a few nights.

It was a super nice stay! Every time again. Everything was to the fullest satisfaction! They're both great people!

The harbor courtyard was easy to find, the check in was just hassle-free. The apartment fully corresponded to the description. The highlight is the view of the Loosdrechter Ser. The supermarket on the opposite side of the street makes your shopping very easy. The central location ( about 10 minutes to the highway) allow quick access to the sights. will be happy to come back. Trudy is a very sweet and attentive hostess who has good tips for activities and excursions. The accommodation is very clean and quiet, perfect for a break. Would come back at any time 🌞

A beautiful cottage in which we immediately felt comfortable. The view is sensational: ducks, storks, rabbits, lots of greenery and waterside. On the terrace with the very cozy rocking chairs, you can relax and enjoy a sundowner. The amenities are perfect, the beds very comfortable and everything super clean. Rudi is a great host and very friendly. 😊 We will be happy to come back.

Wow! Nor and Mat’s cottage was the perfect escape. The most comfortable stay with picturesque views. The home was immaculate, and Nor and Mat have thought of everything—including toys and crafts for our 3 year old. Their communication and instructions were great, too. The location was wonderful too—a short drive to many restaurants and stores while still quiet and peaceful. We loved our time there!

John is very friendly and the apartment keeps what it promises in the photos. Johnnist is always easy to reach and also contacts you proactively. Thank you John, for the wonderful time in your cottage 😊

Best location for access to Edam. Steps away from the cheese market. Ample parking for an SUV. Bathroom on par with American standards - nicer than most European bathrooms. Washer and dryer are full capacity. Enough sleeping space for a family of six. Playground in front of house. Hosts nice and responsive. Cobbled roads and narrow homes do make Edam not ADA friendly like much of Europe.

Had a nice sunny weekend with friends in this nice and cozy cottage. We have enjoyed the big garden with lots of sun. The cottage matches photos and description!

We had a wonderful stay in Lonneke’s place. The house is very cute and cosy with absolutely everything you need. Lonneke left out really clear instructions and a few tips of things to do in the area. We enjoyed a lovely dinner at the restaurant in the village centre. The service team and the locals were super friendly and the food was good. The local village shop is also well stocked. Lovely walks : ribs in the area and a couple of us were brave enough to take a dip in the river! Would highly recommended

It is a beautiful accommodation with a view directly of the lake. The accommodation is small but it offers everything you need and we felt very comfortable from the first moment. There is also a parking lot directly opposite and very good restaurants and shopping nearby. It was a dream to wake up every day with a view of the lake. If the weather is good, you can also go swimming there. Will definitely be back :)
