We really enjoyed our stay. The location was great, the house was really clean & it was spacious enough for 4 adults & 3 kids.

We absolutely loved this space! it was so close to everything in the downtown area of Reykjavik and the apartment was so cozy. Specifically we found the bed and comforter set to be really comfortable! The shared restroom was also clean and readily available. I highly recommend utilizing this space on your upcoming trip to Reykjavik!

This is definitely among the best Airbnb's I've stayed in, so much so I would rent this apartment myself if I lived in Reykjavík. It's absolutely beautiful, has everything you need, and the location cannot be beat (within <5 minutes of everything in Centre, super close walk to nearly everything else). Stefan gave great recommendations and went to the extra effort of dropping off extra soap / laundry detergent when he realized the Airbnb would be running low during my stay. Highly recommend!

Very friendly and fast communication. Great little apartment for two people. Kitchen is well equipped. You can park right in front of the property in the yard. Supermarket, bakery and restaurants are in walking distance. Highly recommend.

We have considered three places before deciding on this place and we sure are glad we picked the right choice. Nothing beats the central location of this place, and if you have a rental car the parking garage is an extra plus. The area was very spacious but it still felt cozy. The views from the balcony was spectacular. Most importantly, Andri and his staff were very prompt to our requests and very attentive to our concerns which were mostly minor. Overall, we highly recommend this place to making your Iceland trip even more memorable .

Great location, walking distance to city center, Reykjavik Roasters and 2 supermarkets right around the corner, very clean and matched the description. Thorgeir is super responsive and helpful, clear check-in instructions and very easy self check-in. Parking right in front of the building. Can definitely recommend!

A perfect place to stay after landing in Keflavik - our only regret is that we weren’t staying longer !!!! We will be back and stay longer next time ! Beds extremely comfortable and the space was perfect for 2 couples travelling together ! Highly recommend !!!!

We enjoyed our stay in Jon’s beautiful apartment. Right in the heart of Reykjavik, it had a splendid view and was walkable to lots of shops and restaurants. Jon was very responsive and easy to work with.

We had an exceptional stay at this apartment over New Year’s. The property was perfect for us as a couple, offering everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable visit. The apartment was very clean, warm, welcoming, and equipped with excellent cooking facilities, which made it easy to prepare meals for our sightseeing trips. Its central location was incredibly convenient, especially for navigating the roads and icy conditions as first-time visitors. The check-in process was seamless, and the host was a pleasure to communicate with—promptly answering any questions we had. Compared to the hotels and other Airbnb options we considered, this apartment exceeded our expectations, especially as a last-minute booking. Perfect apartment for our family of four, including two college-aged kids. The location was excellent - it was very easy to navigate the neighborhood’s streets in our rental car, parking was a breeze and just steps away from the apartment, and we could easily walk to all the shop’s & restaurants in the city’s central district. We could not have loved it more! We would love to stay here again on our next trip to Reykjavik (we are already planning a return)! Highly recommend!

10/10. Maria and her family were wonderful hosts. From letting my children play with their pets to allowing us flexible check in and out due to our flight times, this listing is an absolute gem. Great water (drinking and bathing), beautiful yard, killer views. We saw the northern lights right from our windows multiple nights. I wish we could have stayed forever!

The AIRBB was very nice. The bedding and beds were very comfortable, great black out lighting. The location was convenient to downtown and the local coffee shop was a great option for a quick breakfast. The property was clean, the kitchen well equipped and there was good communication between us and our host.

Beautiful and peaceful environment. Just what our family of four wanted by being close to the Golden Circle as well as a private space. Not far from Reykjavík, and only 1 hour from Keflavik airport. Would definitely choose again!

Our family of 5 (3 pre-teens / teenagers) did an IcelandAir stopover for just a couple of days. This BnB was in a great location close to the airport and the city. The home itself was wonderful and easily accommodated us. We especially enjoyed the hot tub. Elisa provided amazing recommendations for things to do and local places to eat. I wish we had more time to spend in this wonderful country. When we come back, we hope Elisa and her family will host us again!

Great studio room close to everything in the city. Enough space for two people with everything you’ll need. We cooked a few meals and ate in a few times. Walking distance to a grocery store, coffee shops, and long term free parking.

Amazing place. We sat in the hottub at night with - 10 degrees while it was pitch black. A moment we will never forget. The place looked even better than on the pictures. We cooked at the place two nights, the oven is amazing and all the equipment is there. Linda responded very quick and was very nice. Thank you Linda!!

This location is great! If you rent a car just make sure you have the Parka App so you can find parking on the street nearby (wasn't a problem at all in May. the apartment is on a pedestrian only street, very close walking to distance to many shops, restaurants and bars. It is very centrally located but not near any loud bars, so it was very quiet. The little front balcony opens up to the main street. The rooms had all you need for a good night's sleep. The beds, pillows and bedding are all very comfortable. Kolbrun was available to let me know how to find more towels since we didn't have enough for the 4 of us traveling. We didn't do any cooking, but the little kitchen seemed to have everything you need for the basics. The living room was spacious and comfortable. DONT FORGET to read the black book on the table with important information, especially about the hot tub, we missed it ended up not using it. Likely simple to use, I just overlooked her message about it. We 100% recommend!!!

This place was gorgeous and larger than we thought. We loved the steam bath! It was so easy to walk to local restaurants. A very comfortable place to stay for our family of four!

We had an amazing time at Geir’s family home! This was an incredible place to spend the new year and we would absolutely return! The location is perfect. We were able to walk outside the city lights a short distance to get an amazing view of the northern lights. A designated lookout is also a short car ride away. Plus, downtown Reykjavík is a short car or bus ride away! It could also be a good walk for those who like to hike.

Maria’s place is gorgeous! Our family of four was happy to have such a nice big space for sleeping after driving the Ring Road and staying in small places all week. There are lots of windows, the bedrooms are large, and it’s just an overall cheery place. It’s also a bit away from the rush of the main area of town, but within walking distance for when you’re ready to go out. We hope to stay here for longer the next time we’re in Iceland.

Sloveig was such a wonderful host and really went out of her way to make us feel welcomed. The place was beautiful and comfortable in every way imaginable and super close to the city center without the crowd. Definitely a place I would want to come back to!
