Loved the location, the views and all the amenities available. It was a perfect place for the two of us, cosy and had all we needed and more. Only thing I'd recommend to take with you, that we forgot, would be slippers.

Really comfortable cabin in an exceptional location with fantastic view. If you enjoy Scandinavian style comfort and solitude in a scenic lakeside setting then this is the place. Everything was as described, very easy to find with the precise satnav directions from the hosts. The sauna, hot tub and decking chairs overlooking the lake are a real plus. Ivar was a responsive host. Nearest town for shops and restaurants is approx 25 min drive. Be aware that the wooden steps leading down to the cabin from the parking place are quite steep and with no handrail.

Very beautiful cottage, we could stay so relaxing and cozy mood. Especially warm waterspring bath of outside, it was so nice to relieve fatigue. I really recommend this cottage to other people.

The home was great! In a great location close to golden circle and also the tomato farm + great ice cream. Easy self check in allowed us to use the icelandic midnight sun to our full potential and stay out hiking late and come back to the house for a hot tub + sauna to relax! Definitely will recommend to others traveling here

we hebben 3 heerlijke dagen gehad. wat een mooie en rustige locatie! Het huisje bestaat uit 2 woningen. Wat voor ons gezelschap erg handig was. het meer is dichtbij, helaas geen vissen gevangen maar het uitzicht is fantastisch. De bedden liggen heerlijk. De woning is netjes en schoon. kortom een aanrader!

We had an amazing stay! Viktor’s home had everything we needed for a family of 5. Many bedrooms and two bathrooms were a plus! Private in a gated community, but an easy and scenic drive to all the sights. A perfect experience for our first time in Iceland!

This place was peaceful, gorgeous, and exactly what I was looking for. The view was amazing, centrally located near both the golden circle and restaurants and amenities in selfoss. Sigrun and Sigurdur were wonderful hosts. The little stream chuckling beside the place was lovely. I would stay here again.

This home is a treasure. We enjoyed our stay in Iceland because we had the opportunity to stay in this home. It was perfect and matched the description. We can’t say enough great things about this home and the host. We will be back.

We booked the hut for the private geothermal hot tub and although it takes 1-2 hours to fill it was absolutely amazing! We especially enjoyed the peace and quiet, there is nothing else than a nice view and smell of pine with the sound of some birds around.

Very nice and cozy cabin. Conveniently located if you’re looking to explore the southwestern island by vehicle. ~5min drive to the town of Selfoss for groceries and supplies. The hot tub is a nice addition. A private room for each of two couples and a loft that slept our two kids. Worked nicely for our family.

Sígrun’s place was exactly what we were looking for! We had the best welcome ever being greeted by the northern lights. The house is well equipped with everything you need. From kitchen appliances to toiletries. And the hot tub outside, is an excellent place to relax. Location is perfect. Very nice and quiet and also close to all the main attractions of the golden circle. Our farewell was also memorable with northern lights dancing for us! Some places we’d like to recommend: Sky Lagoon, Thingvellir National park (20 min drive from the house, bring good shoes, can be very slippery). Tryggvaskali restaurant, Messinn restaurant, Silfra restaurant. And of course all the other attractions around the golden circle. Thank you, Sigrún, hope to be back soon!

Le logement proposé n'a pas de cuisine. C'est une grande chambre avec une salle de bain et un salon. malgré tout, l'hôte nous a prêté des ustensiles de cuisine et un accès à son barbecue

The Little Blue House is an absolute delight. The setting is magical, with amazing views all around, and especially from the deck/hot tub. Be sure to take advantage of the endless hot water for the hot tub! 😁😁😁. Filling it and keeping it warm is a little bit of trial and error but once done it's blissful.

The location of this property couldn’t have been more perfect. Each day we were within an hours drive from major sights and activities including: thingvellir and silfra, gulfoss and geyser, Rejkavik, blue lagoon and seljalandsfoss. Selfoss is accessible and the geothermal park in hvererageroi was fab. The remoteness created the perfect conditions away from built up areas and we were thrilled to see the northern lights twice - viewing them from the hot tub made it feel even more special. House was tidy with everything we needed and just as described. Instructions to get there and responses from Gunhilder were excellent. We would thoroughly recommend this property for a self drive action packed Icelandic holiday.

Lovely location everything was about an hour away and only 5 minutes from the kerid crater! Great amenities and so many appliances to be able to cook our own food, and make the place feel like home. I will definitely be recommending this place to anyone that wants to visit Iceland!

The cabin is very cozy and has anything you would need. The surroundings are incredibly beautiful, waking up to these 360 views every morning was an experience on itself. The shower is just wonderful, the bed is very comfortable, everything was just perfect for us. Strongly recommended!

Es ist eine hervorragende Unterkunft mit allem, was man/Familie braucht. Sehr ruhig gelegen mit fantastischer Umgebung.

This was one of our most memorable AirBnb stays. Hjalmar’s cabin is beautiful, tranquil, and within walking distance of the lake. This cabin was great for our family of four young children, who loved the two trampolines and walking down to the lake. I’m not sure we have ever seen a host as responsive as Hjalmar - we had two questions about climate control in the cabin and the entrance gate, and he responded within a minute both times. This is a must visit if you are looking for a centrally located cabin along the golden circle and have children. We hope to return someday.

Otrolig vistelse här! Väldigt bra service och fick alltid snabb hjälp när jag skrev om olika frågor. Smidig in och utcheckning. Väldigt fint område och perfekt att stanna här när man ska göra flera stopp på Gyllene Cirkel rutten. Bra solläge hela dagen också för morgonkaffet ute på altanen till after-hike på eftermiddagen😉 Tusen tack för bra vistelse, vi kommer att komma tillbaka!😍

Wir waren zu dritt und haben die schöne Lage der Unterkunft und den Whirpool genossen. Es ist perfekt um die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten in Island zu entdecken. Selfoss ist ca 25 Minunten entfernt mit einem Bonus, einem Kronan, Tankstellen, Restaurants etc. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet. Es gab eine kleine Geschirrspülmaschine und vier Elektorherdplatten. Mikrowelle und Ofen haben wir nicht genutzt. Es gab zwei Schlafzimmer, das dritte Schlafzimmer war im Dachspitz offen zur darunter liegenden Küche. Man Gelang in das Zimmer über eine Raumsparleiter. Für Kinder gut geeignt da diese kleiner sind. Die Kommunikation mit SaraLind war sehr gut. Zum See sind es ca 5 bis 10 Minuten zu Fuß.
