On foot, you can reach Lax train station in about 12 minutes and then you are in 5 minutes at the Fisch - Fiescheralp/Eggishorn valley station, the viewpoint on the Aletsch Glacier (with the ski pass, this train route is included.) The train ride must be purchased via the SBB app - No vending machines available - CHF 10 fine for buses without a ticket. By car, you can reach the parking lot of the valley station in about 5 minutes.

Charming Chalet "Bijou" in the Aletsch region

Great place to stay, practically furnished, wonderfully private & quiet location even if it is in the middle of the hamlet. The bedroom is on the second floor and is either accessible via the ladder or alternatively around the outside via the stairs. Memory foam mattress took some getting used to but still slept very well. I'm glad I arrived in daylight, I don't know if it would have been so easy to find between all the cottages and houses otherwise. Key handover was a bit complicated because the previous tenant did not deposit the key correctly but Carola was always easily accessible and very helpful. I will definitely come back and very gladly! Thank you very much!

We spent 3 nights in Markus' apartment. The apartment is very well maintained and clean, we immediately felt at home. The location to the thermal bath and bus stop is perfect. (reachable in 5 min.). The car can be parked in the private parking lot in front of the house. The glazed balcony and the high-quality kitchen appliances from V-Zug are further highlights. We will be happy to come back and highly recommend the apartment.

The house location was at very high location make it a good spot to take photo and very nice view. The house also had very big place for dining and hall area, make it a perfect spot to come with big family. Will repeat again if i come to visit Swiss-Zermat.

We enjoyed Sophie and Waldemar's apartment very much. We felt right at home. It is incredibly cozy and very well appointed. Great kitchen, super equipped, everything you need to cook. Sophie and Waldemar were very helpful and immediately on the spot when we were locked out. Nice area. And great ski resorts in the area. The restaurant of the two in the village is also highly recommended. Fine, local food, great quality. We'd love to come back. Thank you!

Thank you, thank you, thank you, dear Lisi! It was fantastic in your lovingly and stylishly renovated parents' house! The location of the house is unique. You are really on your own and have absolute peace! It's perfect for winding down and simply switching off. You can still do super nice hikes directly from the house. The house is equipped with everything and more. There's really nothing missing. The terrace is an absolute dream! You can see how much love has been put into renovating this house. We'll be back ❤️

Beautiful, small, quiet and cozy cottage in a district (Bächerhyscher) just above Grengiols, with a beautiful view of the mountain and valley from the bedroom, everything you need, only the Wi-Fi did not work, but there is 5G everywhere, so roaming is very fast !! The path to the actual village, to the fantastic restaurant: the "Grängierstuba", and to the well-stocked shop (gas station/tourist office), is a bit dark at night, but after the first time even without a torch very well walkable. The village itself is on the slope, so partly steep (but well lit). At the beginning of January there was only snow in the high altitudes (Bettmeralp, etc.), so we were wonderful hiking directly from the house. It is also great that you always come back well by bus/train, even if the stop is in the valley, which means a 35-minute walk up the mountain to the cottage, but we also loved that.
