Holiday rentals with a kayak in Green Lake Township

family had an amazing time and had lots of fun.

We rented this for a winter getaway. The home was lovely and our family of 8 had a wonderful time. Playing ping-pong and other games, enjoying the fire place and having plenty of space to cook and enjoy meals together were some of our favorite inside activities. Being so close to trails meant we found lots of opportunities to be outside, too. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Fred and Jacqui’s place was perfect. The pictures really don’t show how beautiful and spacious the place is. It’s close to downtown, but also private with plenty of outdoor activities, with equipment all provided for. They were extremely responsive to all questions and reminded us of various things we could while staying. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

House location was 12/10. Couldn’t have asked for a better home base. Walking distance to trails and sits right on the lake. Kids loved playing in and on the water with the kayaks provided. Would highly recommend the home to family and friends and would stay here anytime our family returns to the area. House was as advertised and Joe was very responsive and offered local trails and areas to eat.

The house was very clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. The short walk to the lake/private dock was a huge hit among us guests! We would definitely stay again in the future!

Exceeded our expectations. We were very impressed with everything about it. The attention to detail and features were just wonderful. We treated it like our own home. So if your reading this and stay here ……PLEASE TAKE GREAT CARE OF IT LIKE WE DID…..BECAUSE IT IS NOW OUR GO TO PLACE. WE WANT IT TO BE JUST AS NICE AS IT WAS THIS TIME WHEN WE COME BACK! This is a beautiful location and a lovely comfortable home. A great place to escape to when reality is wearing one down. Well equipped.

Rachel and Ryan have made a lovely home available to us as guests. The house has beautiful windows to enjoy the outdoor nature and the indoor space has comfortable furnishings throughout. The house was immaculate and has everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We really liked the private setting. Ryan and Rachel were friendly and responsive our messages throughout the rental process and stay. Without question, we would stay with Ryan and Rachel whenever we would return to the area.

We enjoyed our stay at John’s. It was just a described. The kids loved the paddle boards, kayaks and floating dock. We appreciated all the recommendations that were provided on the wall and in the books around the house. The kitchen had everything needed for us to eat most meals at the house and the grill was nice.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The property was stunning! We wished for better weather to enjoy the kayaks and paddle boats, but that was nothing that could’ve been controlled. We did enjoy a fire in the pit. The lake view was beautiful. Jake was very pleasant and made sure we were taken care of. Thank you!

We all had a great time! House was clean and beautiful. I loved that there were so many supplies: extra towels, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. You don’t often get those extras at other places we’ve stayed. It was a nice quiet area and the neighbors were very friendly. Although there were 2 places to dock our pontoon boat, we had no problem with the walkway from the house to the backyard dock. It made it so easy to go out and fish anytime. The kayaks were a hit with the grandsons and they LOVE to go fishing and play outdoor yard games! We enjoyed the fireplace as it was a bit chilly when we were there.

This is our second time staying at Laurie’s Airbnb and we love it. It’s the perfect place to enjoy the winter wonderland up there. Laurie is very communicative and very helpful. The place is comfy and we love that we can bring our dogs!

The Memory Maker was all that we hoped for and so much more. We had initially intended to find an Airbnb on Torch Lake but once we saw this place we booked it right away and it was the perfect choice. We still trailered the boat a quick ride to Torch for an adventure but spent the majority of our trick on Elk Lake and loved it. This Airbnb thought of everything and we wanted for nothing! We took our four adult children and their significants and our grandbaby and we all had plenty of room to enjoy our stay! Hank and Alaina

Great spot, exactly what we needed! It’s small and cozy, in a quiet area 10-15 minutes drive from anything you need. Smooth check in, clean spot, had whatever amenities you could think of. One thing: If you are taller than me (6’4) you may have some trouble with the bathroom. I made it work but were I an inch taller I wouldn’t have been able to fit for certain activities 😂

We lo ved our stay at the cottage. Spider Lake is lovely and very relaxing. Nikki was very communicative leading up to and during our stay. We would absolutely want to book it again .

The house was spacious and perfect for our family needs. There are places to park in the front and further down the hill, and the convenience of entering on the lower level. The lower level bedrooms can get chilly in the winter months but easily managed with a few extra blankets. Great communication and a thoughtful welcome with fresh bakery bread and jam. The location was perfect for our needs and we all agreed that we would stay at this Airbnb in the future!

We had a great time at the cabin, the hosts and cabin are top notch and would highly recommend this place to anyone considering.

We had a great weekend. The cabin is lovely. We hiked at the nearby nature area, fished in the lake & surrounding areas, and explored downtown. We made breakfasts and dinners at the cabin and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were all comfortable. We enjoyed the variety of boats available.

Great place, gave it five stars, it’s a nice cabin. Don’t expect luxury, this is a cabin, but clean and all amenities work well. Went with my family for an archery event at crystal mountain and it was 3 min from crystal mountain which made it great for naps for my 2yr old. I’d stay again!

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin in the woods! The hot tub was perfect to relax and enjoy the nature around. We seen several deer on the property. The house was accommodating and had all the basics. We appreciated the firewood as the days and nights were chilly and we love to cook on the fire. Communication with the owners was easy with quick responses.

I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a cozy spot close to skiing and other activities! Unexpectedly had toys, games, and even a pack and play. Great for families and kids! Our hosts helped with any issue that may have arisen and were quick to respond. They could not have been more helpful.

We loved Dave's place! The house was very comfortable and access to the lake was excellent. My family loved being able to fish and play in the lake when we weren't out sight seeing in Traverse City. We had the resort all to ourselves the week we were there, so it was our own private oasis!

Nice cabin in the woods. Hot tub works but could use a new control panel. Inside is what we expected and more. Comfy beds. two fire pits outside. if you have small kids like us be aware there is a steep drop around one side and partly behind the cabin thats pretty close to fire pit. If i decide to stay near baldwin or go hunting the state game area i will deffinitly be back here. not the cleanist place but for the price im not even gonna conplain. wasnt terrible but could have been dusted and swept up a little more. i just grabbed the broom in the bathroom and used the shark vaccum on arrival and when we left. its not nasty dirty so dont take me the wrong way. for the price conpared to similar cabins and what we got out of it i feel its worth it by a long shot. Shelby has great communication. Thank you!
