Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Greater Plettenberg Bay

We had a lovely stay at Sanctuary House with our 7 year old son and 80 year old mum. The house has everything you need and more. The pool deck and braai area is great and it was also great to have a fire pit outside and fire place inside too. The weather was a bit changeable during our stay so these were well used. The house is in a good location with shops nearby and easy to reach other areas in Plet. Communication with Richard during our stay was excellent. I would highly recommend this holiday house.

5 Stars – A Slice of Paradise in Knysna! We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful home in Knysna. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed — the hosts greeted us warmly and had thoughtfully left snacks, a bottle of wine, and even a delicious cake for us to enjoy. Such a special touch that set the tone for the rest of our stay. The house itself is stunning — spotless, beautifully decorated, and perfectly equipped with everything we needed. The peaceful location made it the perfect place to unwind. We loved spending time on the patio, soaking in the scenery, and enjoying relaxed evenings by the fire. The location is ideal too — just a short drive from town, yet far enough to feel like a private retreat. This place truly felt like a home away from home, and we can’t wait to return. Tolle Unterkunft mit schöner Einrichtung und perfekter Lage um Plettenberg Bay zu erkunden. Restaurants und Supermärkte sind schnell und einfach zu erreichen. Wir konnten vom ersten Moment total entspannen und haben unseren Aufenthalt genossen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

What an amazing experience. We were so relaxed and enjoyed the tranquility that the farm had to offer. Just hearing the birds chirping was magical. Loved the outside bath, which I got to try out. Waldo was so welcoming, recommended the Plett wine & bubbly festival (which was amazing). Assisted us in getting the fire going in order to have braai on the Saturday evening. Definitely recommend the place.

What an amazing gem in the centre of Plettenberg Bay. We loved our stay for four nights. Great location, lots of space in the house for privacy and entertaining. Modern kitchen and outdoor area. Well priced considering all the place has to offer. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay, Christel was very communicative, the flat is spacious and well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing break.

We loved our stay at Moonshine Creek. Katie is an awesome host. She gave us many helpful tips for sightseeing and things to do. The surroundings are beautiful and there is plenty to do. The day we left we did the Moonshine Waterfall hike, which was quite challenging but great fun. Thank you for having us!

Karin’s home is really beautiful and a very special location. Lovely walks to enjoy and the views are beyond beautiful. The kids had a great time in the pool even though it was early autumn and with the pool solar heating it took the edge off. Surprisingly the kids did not complain about there being no TV. We had lots to do, games, walks, reading and exploring the area and local cafes. Worth a visit, we loved our stay!

Lovely peaceful home in a residential neighbourhood. The property is very homely with all amenities you could need. We particularly loved the garden - it must take a lot of work to keep it looking so pretty!

This was a last minute booking over a busy period due to unforeseen circumstances resulted in a move. The home was comfortable, offered a lot under roof and offers easy access to the N2 and all the area has to offer. A standout during our stay was Ravon. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with - responsive, friendly and ready to help where needed!

We had an incredible few days at the house in Knysna! It was so comfortable and inviting that we never wanted to leave. We enjoyed swimming, braaiing and relaxing while watching movies together. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, plus some lovely extras. The rooms were clean and the bed really comfortable .The owners Kate and Grant, were incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. I would absolutely love to return whenever possible. It was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend it!

We loved staying at Sue’s place! Was a beautiful secluded spot that made us feel like we weren’t in the hustle and bustle of season but still not a very far drive from beach, hikes, restaurants, etc. My senior dog was able to stay and had a little fenced garden for when we had to leave her at the bnb which she loved! Great spot for a family or a few friends :) Sue was also very responsive and gave clear instructions so everything went smoothly! We will definitely want to make this a regular spot we stay ✨ highly recommended x

Watching the tide come in….watching it go out….so relaxing. Super weekend with baby, kids, grandparents and dog. Playing in the lagoon all day and enjoying the quiet splashes of the fish in the evenings. Thanks again Charles and Ryk

The balcony with adjacent lounge amidst the tree tops is wonderful. We ate there, sat there, braaied there. We even watched a Knysna Loerie in a tree two metres away but that was unusual actually. The house surroundings are open and sunny but also enclosed within beautiful trees. Walking to the beach or the lagoon takes five minutes so one has all the choices possible.

This cottage is a gem! So well preserved and authentic. We loved our stay!

Die abgelegene Unterkunft von Johan ist der perfekte Ort, um in wenigen Tagen komplett abschalten zu können. Die Bilder können gar nicht widerspiegeln, wie wundervoll die Aussicht auf die umliegenden Berge und die Sonnenuntergänge sind. Die Anfahrt ist durch den Schotterweg zwar etwas holprig, aber unser kleiner Hyundai hat es problemlos geschafft. Probiert unbedingt das Lagerfeuer aus, um darauf zu grillen. Wir werden wiederkommen. :)
