Teachers cottage way exceeded my expectations! Private, peaceful and beautifully surrounded by nature. Well decorated and has everything you need. Candy and Ritchie were both wonderful hosts, friendly, very responsive and always willing to help. Loved my stay at Old School Farm!

I would like to take the opportunity to thank Annelize for her hospitality. Her home was cozy and so beautiful. We had everything we needed. Annelize is a very thoughtful host and would recommend anyone to stay at her beautiful chalet. We were warm with the electric blankets and fire place and not to mention the hot tub. Views from her home was just incredible. Thank you so much for the beautiful stay.

I can't wait to return. The serene farm stay was perfect for a family break from the city's hustle and bustle. There was a sprawling lawn for the kids to enjoy themselves, and the crate of bats/balls, etc., was put to good use. It is eye-opening to see what the city kids are missing. The hike to the river was amazing, and not once did the kids have a chance to even think of saying they were tired, as nature kept them guessing around every corner. Linda was amazing from the initial communication post-booking until after checkout. Genuine farm hospitality!

Great cottage in a great location. We visited in winter and the wood burning oven warms up the entire house. Great bedrooms, comfy and clean. The kitchen has everything you need to be self sufficient. The deck looks out over a fantastic magic garden. The garden has all sorts of hidden corners that must be explored. We picked our dinner veggies, grape fruits, oranges and lemons - there is loads more. If we could give this place 6 out of 5 we would have. Loved it

What a magical place! Linda is the most accommodating and tentative host we’ve ever had!! It is the perfect place for a family and truly an amazing spot for complete R&R. From the walks around the farm, swimming in the rockpools, the jungle gym, feeding the calves and the recommendation to see the 800+year old tree! What an amazing experience! Wish we had stayed much longer than 2 nights! We will definitely be back for a longer visit!

Linda was amazing- going out of her way to help us with additional nights after we ran into some issues. the units were lovely and the staff so helpful and friendly - moving our luggage to different units due to the additional nights. thank you!!

Our purpose for the weekend was us attending my son’s wedding.The accommodation was neat. I saw too late that all bedrooms were upstairs, so my mom of 80 years had to find a different accommodation when we got there. That was my mistake for not reading all the details. We expected a lake view from the house. However, we had a beautiful view of the mountains from the 2 bedrooms and the garden area from the bathroom. The fire place on the stoop could not be used due to rainy weather. Belinda is very responsive, we had a small problem with having no hot water the one evening and Belinda made sure that this was fixed first thing in the morning. All in all, we had a very comfortable & cosy stay. Thank you Belinda.🙌🏻

Angie's G spot was a lovely place in the nature reserve and next to the reserve to get off the grid and relax. was a long dirt road from Knysna and a shorter trip to the N9 passing waterfalls. There wasn't any hot water on our stay but there is a geyser on-site.

We loved staying at Sue’s place! Was a beautiful secluded spot that made us feel like we weren’t in the hustle and bustle of season but still not a very far drive from beach, hikes, restaurants, etc. My senior dog was able to stay and had a little fenced garden for when we had to leave her at the bnb which she loved! Great spot for a family or a few friends :) Sue was also very responsive and gave clear instructions so everything went smoothly! We will definitely want to make this a regular spot we stay ✨ highly recommended x

We enjoyed our stay so much! It was so peaceful and so manageable with two little kids. We woke up to the orioles singing and enjoyed looking for the tortoises every day in the garden. We look forward to staying again!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Sandra’s place, wished we had booked for longer. The place was clean and well furnished, with many thoughtful supplies such as basic BBQ supplies. Even though we had some initial difficulty in getting to the accommodation due to road conditions, Sandra and her husband were quick to respond and assist. The perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city and to experience off-the-grid living. Highly recommended!

A perfect getaway! The space was even better than the pictures—cozy, quiet, and centrally located. Loved the thoughtful extras like Nespresso coffee, milk, and fast Wi-Fi. Would absolutely return!

Picca is an attentive and considerate host who sent us local updates about weather, closed/open beaches etc. throughout our stay. we ended up not bringing our dogs, but Picca had paid extra attention to ensuring they would also have a great stay. Lake Brenton is magical and perfect if you're keen on a quieter holiday with all the perks of having Knysna super close by.

We love staying at Paula's place, it is a divine cottage complete with everything one needs. Set in a beautiful garden, which our border collies just love. We thoroughly enjoy our holidays at Paula's place and will definitely be back again.

Beautiful and cozy cottage. We arrived on a rainy day and the fire place was just what we needed. The garden is a nice touch, we loved having our morning coffee outside. Robin and Priscilla were wonderful hosts, very responsive. The little guide they put together to help guests get around was super helpful.

Gary and Lynne were incredible hosts—kind, attentive, and always mindful of our needs. We had a wonderful time, and our kids absolutely loved the pool, which is beautifully surrounded by nature. The accommodation was spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Gary also provided us with a detailed itinerary, which was incredibly helpful for exploring Knysna. We’ll definitely be returning!

Peaceful vacation, functional home and friendly host. Stayed at Heidi’s home with kids and we LOVED our stay. The pool was a highlight and the parents really enjoyed the coffee maker. Great retreat for a few nights!

Had the most lovely stay. The house has everything you need to feel right at home. It was walking distance to the river which was great for cooling off in February. Had a lovely braai on the patio every evening. Would love to come back.

Carike’s place was so comfortable and had everything one could need for an enjoyable stay Keurboomstrand is one of the most beautiful spots in SA!

Lovely stay at Lisa cottage ! Lisa was a lovely and friendly host . Love the small touches of the tea , a chocolate and a little sachet for breakfast . It’s a cosy place and blankets were super warm. Will definitely come back

We had the most wonderful stay at River Club. The house was absolutely perfect for our needs and the big open garden in front of the house was a big hit with our little girls. The location is amazing and would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Plett.

We had a lovely, relaxing stay far from the busy life at the end of a year. Danie was very accommodating with allowing us to have the kids stay in the roof tent. Thank you for a wonderful time in nature.
