Set in the grounds of Kate and Richard's own home the cottage has been converted from a Georgian Barn it provides cosy, self contained accommodation, and offers couples the chance to share this wonderful area while enjoying the privacy of their own characterful cottage.
“Kate’s place was amazing! From the thoughtful touches of having delicious eggs from her chickens at check in to the beautiful grounds it was all I wanted in a Cotswolds holiday and more! Perfect spot for quick day trips as well as a comfy place to hibernate a bit if that’s what you are looking for. The town is small so it was great to just pop down for a walk when the sun would come out. All around a great time that we will never forget!”
Green Cottage is a substantial grade II listed cottage in one of the most sought after villages in the Cotswolds. Built in the 1600's as two labourers cottages, Green Cottage has been frequently extended in the 20th century to keep it upto date with modern living standards. It is close to family-friendly activities in the heart of England. The cottage is in a great location, has a lovely atmosphere and an interesting history. The cottage will suit couples, families (with kids) and groups.
“We had a lovely week over the Christmas holiday at Anita’s place. She was very easy going and responsive, and the cottage is very quaint and cozy with a large yard, and next to the pub. All was exactly as described. Very family friendly with toys, games, DVDs, high chair, baby gates, and there was even a decorated tree for us over Xmas!”
This is a detached conversion which you have to yourselves. The beautifully renovated Grade II Listed stable, in a quintessential Cotswold village, has a cosy fire in a spacious living area. There's a large bedroom with wardrobe, and a modern ensuite shower. Local walks are on the doorstep, close to attractions such as Sherborne Park (National Trust), Burford, Bibury and Stone Barn.
“The pictures do not do it justice, the lofty ceilings downstairs and the cosiness of the bedroom upstairs meant that we had the best of both worlds. Special touches like breakfast items, the ability to have a home cooked meal delivered and a wonderful garden to sit in on a balmy evening all made for a truly enjoyable stay.”
