This location is very convenient for exploring the Chilterns. it is just A 5 minute walk from the railway station, and a 10 minute walk to the main shopping street. There are several good restaurants in town, and several small supermarkets all in the same area, and walkable. The house has a nice private garden out the back, and two of the three bedrooms overlook it. The house was very comfortable and clean, and the hosts were extremely responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

Tom is a gentleman. Thoughtful, kind, and he clearly has great taste for how to furnish a home in order to make it practical and comfortable for guests. Tom reached out to us ahead of our stay with a friendly welcome and clear instructions for how to find his place. He met us there at the agreed check-in time and showed us around, which was a nice, thoughtful touch that we both appreciated. He lives locally, and told us not to hesitate to give him a shout if we needed anything. We didn't need to though; everything we needed was right there, including a well equipped kitchen, and also a spacious bath and shower room with lashings of hot water. The location is perfect. Right on the water's edge. Stunning views from most rooms. I found it very relaxing, leaning against the garden wall with a cuppa, watching the Bodinnick chain ferry (which stops at bedtime and starts again when its time to get up). Its a five-minute walk into Fowey. Delightful. Highly recommended!

Another lovely stay in Jane’s beautiful home. Comfortable, peaceful, welcoming - feels like home and all the wee extras like the vase of flowers from the garden make it even more special.

Can’t praise Ollie and his home enough 👌🏽location,parking,comfort,home from home ,host response and more all 10/10 !you could not get any closer to centre,literally stones throw away. Provided ear plugs for church bells which like to ring 🤣 I’m a very light sleeper and didn’t sit yet b my sleeping but then a nightcap 🍷might have helped that too 🤭 Ollie’s home is just so homely, he’s thought of everything and everything about it is perfect ! Spotless , comfy bed and bedding and Ollie checked in from start to finish to make sure everything was ok .Ollie even found my ring which I hadn’t yet missed and contacted me to let me know …. Matthew’s cottage is absolutely beautiful, it is full of character and exactly as we were expecting from the pictures. It was fantastic place to stay in, right in the centre of Beaulieu, with easy access for exploring the New Forest. Matthew was very communicative in the lead up to and during the stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Matthew’s home to anyone else visiting the area.

Great communication, very helpful host. Location is brilliant with lots to do close by.

arrived for 3 night stay ,first impressions very nice home ,plenty of room,beds very comfy ,clean and tidy ,very happy ,would stay again ,stairs would be an issue if elderly or disabled ,but for price and home from home Fantastic, great view if you're lucky to grab a back bedroom ,thank you Caroline and Jon

Our stay at 50 High Street was extremely comfortable. It was well kept and plenty of space for two families. Never felt cramped. Loved the kitchen! The house was a short distance to local eateries and shops. Highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

A wonderful house set right in the centre of Woodstock. The property is presented to a high standard with all the little touches that you'd expect. It really is home from home. Laura was excellent at responding to any questions I had and made some great recommendations. Thank you for a fabulous few days!

We loved staying at Sheila’s place - the many extras were perfect: a bottle of prosecco to celebrate our Winchester holiday, the tea/coffee/milk/biscuits/crisps provided, tips on local sites/restaurants, etc.. Super comfortable beds, great bathrooms, nicely appointed living and dining room and a kitchen that has everything one would want! Highly recommended!!

We had a wonderful stay at The Haywood, it’s beautifully furnished and looks like an interior designer has been in! Lots of brilliant amenities like the fire and stunning huge bath with so many little thoughtful touches too like a yoga mat, umbrella and tote bag. The bed was really comfy, the bathroom was gorgeous and so stylish, the shower was piping hot and I loved the blue plaster walls! There are a few steps but they’re not too steep or narrow, it’s perfect for 2 people and our stay felt like a luxurious treat. Everything worked perfectly, the space is used super efficiently and the wine and crisps were a lovely welcome. The local information was very helpful to find the coffee shops just a few minutes walk away as it’s so close to the centre of town, which is so lovely. Anya was really helpful too, nothing was too much trouble, we’d definitely there stay again. Thank you!

Wonderful six-night stay in this tastefully renovated, solid 1820's terrace house. Plenty of space for the two of us. Spotlessly clean. Extremely quiet. Although there is no off-street parking, we never had to park more than 25 yards away. A very quiet, but friendly, tiny pub two doors away. A short walk to the historic town centre, and 15 minutes on foot to the fascinating Alnwick Castle. As in much UK accommodation, there is one short, but relatively steep, staircase, however, this would only concern people with mobility issues. Plenty of storage space in the bedroom. A well-equipped kitchen. In addition to milk and toiletries, Ian and Sal also provided a welcome bottle of prosecco and some nibbles on arrival. Highly recommended.

Beautiful house, beautifully furnished. Spotlessly clean. Kitchen was full of helpful extras even Marmite! The balcony has a great view up to hills and down to a cricket pitch. Friendly town. As we were only there a while someone directed us to the reservoir which was spectacular as they promised. We watched a cricket match and were quite welcome to from the pavilion. Nice sausages at the butchers.

We had a really wonderful long term stay in the Cottage. It’s very cosy, peaceful and private. The town of Pershore is charming and loads of lovely nature walks around. The host was wonderful, always really helpful and responsive. She did whatever she could to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Overall a very pleasant stay! We’re going to miss this little place!

A delightful place for a comfortable stay in Glasgow! We traveled with an 8 month old and the place was perfect for our family. Jo is super responsive, she'll give you tips on things to do. The place is tidy and cute with many thoughtful details. Will definitely stay at Jo's next time we're in town!

Perfect stay at Rose’s home! All of the rooms were spacious, modern & homely. Amazing bathroom, the floating bath is a lovely touch. Has everything in the house that you would need. The location was perfect for us as we wanted to visit Derwent River & Buttermere. Lots of shops & restaurants/pubs nearby. Rose was responsive from start to finish & right through our stay, always giving lots of advice and how to make the most out of our visit! We will definitely return and would 100% recommend Rose’s home to anyone visiting the Lake District. Thank you again Rose, we loved every minute to celebrate my birthday.

A great property, we stayed as a family of 4 with 2 teens and the house felt really spacious. Beds were all very comfy and the showers were lovely, didnt want to get out after a long day walking. Kitchen had everything you could possibly need. We managed to park outside once, the rest of the time we parked on the church car park which is literally 2 seconds round the corner. In all i would highly recommend this property, and we would happily stay again if we are visiting this area.

Lovely Stay at Brook Street Our stay at Helen & Tom's home was wonderful! The house is beautifully decorated and incredibly comfortable, with fantastic facilities like a cozy bonfire, a well equipped kitchen, and even a BBQ for outdoor dining. The hot tub was a perfect touch for relaxation! For electric vehicle owners, there's a slow charger in Tywyn town center, and a fast charger is just a 35 minute drive away. Helen & Tom’s thoughtful hospitality like the welcome treats and clear instructions made our stay seamless. Highly recommend for a relaxing coastal getaway! **⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐**
