We had an amazing time on Davaar Island. It is absolutely beautiful, calm and heartwarming out there. Toni and Ned were very helpful, nice and made us feel welcome. Time went by too fast.

When we booked Otter’s Cabin we were looking for somewhere to relax and have some time to unwind and Otter’s Cabin gave us just that. The cabin itself is rustic and unique but this is exactly what we were looking for. The floating bridge was an adventure with 2 dogs before our day began but they got used to it quickly and by the time we left they were crossing it like pros. The views were outstanding and the seal visitors were a delight to watch. I would highly recommend Otter’s Cabin for anyone looking for a little piece of Scotland to relax in peace and tranquility.

We stopped at Ian's island on our honeymoon trip around Scotland and we couldn't have been happier. The place is so special it almost feels like you are away from the rest of the world (even though it is very well connected and restaurants and shops are just down the road). You can also order Ian's shellfish platter (caught and cooked by him), it was delicious and worth the try! There is so much to do in the area whatever the weather is and Ian has a book in the living room with all sorts of tips and advice. We LOVED the hot tub, it made it extra special. We highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a unique and beautiful experience in this stunning part of the world!!!

Fiona’s place was ideal for us. It was our first time staying towards the west side of the island and we enjoyed the wee walk into the village and back each day. There were fabulous views from every window. The apartment was large, modern, well appointed and well maintained. Thanks to Fiona and her husband for looking after us extremely well.

Beautiful spot with gorgeous views from the house. A great location if you want to explore both mainland and Isle of Skye. The house was clean and very well equipped. Great to sit in the hot tub and enjoy the view of the valley and the estuary and watch all the birds. We recommend the walk up to the top of the mountain summit opposite the house!

We had a fantastic time staying at the camping pod. The campsite is a peaceful and lovingly cared for area in the middle of a beautiful landscape with breathtaking views. The pods are simple and spacious, the toilets and showers are very clean and the cooking shack has everything you might need. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We had the best time staying on the Island and hope to come back, truly a once in a lifetime experience.

It was just amazing! Suzanne is a lovely and thoughtful host. Always available for our requests and great recommendations. We‘ve spent two nights here and just loved our stay. The cabin is beautiful and very comfy. Just great!

Hermitage cottage was in a beautiful situation right on the river Lune. The cottage was clean and tidy. We enjoyed the hot tub, the barbecue and the outdoor seating. We were extremely fortunate with the weather and really enjoyed our stay. Walks around the estate were lovely. It is a lovely base to explore the Forest of Bowland and surrounding areas.

Really enjoyed our stay. David's little cabin had everything we needed and there was enough space for us and all our hula hoops. Amazing location on the river with a beautiful spot to sit at the end amongst the trees and birds. Enjoyed watching the nesting blackbirds on the web cam. Great location for easy access into Northwich town centre or walks along the river Weaver to the South.

we had a lovely 4 nights in the Thomas Gray House. Such beautiful settings. we took some of the recommended pubs and restaurants and were not disappointed. the house did feel very cosy and a home from home. we will be visiting this estate again.

A very memorable stay in such a unique location. Ned and Toni could not have been better hosts, they made arriving on the island easy. We swam, did some fishing, spotted lots of wildlife and marine life. Sitting around the fire pit was a highlight in the evenings. The place was really well equipped, they have thought of everything! Our dog also had a great time of course.

We came to stay in this bothy with our four young children for our honeymoon. It is in the most beautiful place that we will always hold very dear in our hearts. The children could be completely wild and explore, we saw fat seals on the shoreline and a white tailed eagle couple swooping in the skies above us. We encountered red deer on our walks, crabs in the water and the loveliest sheep grazing just outside in the mornings. There was nothing better than just sitting, looking out to the other islands and having a cup of tea. The children were enthralled and it was such an adventure for them. The Bothy beds were clean and comfortable and we often cooked using the woodburner. Tom was especially helpful and friendly, ferrying the essentials we needed eith his quad bike to save us carrying it all. We can't wait to return to this magical little place.

What a magical place! Staying off the grid, with fantastic views around. Feels like traveling back in time as lots of history there! We spend 3 nights there with lots of hiking and simply chilling. Great spot for fishing where the bay meets open sea. Caught couple of fish every day. Thanks for these wonderful holidays! Martins

Stunning location with everything you need. The kitchen and bed spaces are compact but the living space looking out on the Isle of Ulva is superb! A visit to The Boathouse on Ulva is an absolute must and we also enjoyed a meal at Am Birlinn. (The fresh bread available from the house opposite is also delicious). EV charging was fine (in early June) Thank you Mary for an excellent stay in The Studo.

What can I say about this place that will do it justice! What an incredible stay, as soon as Ned picked us up to take us across to Davaar Island we knew we had made the best choice for our stay. Ned was really friendly and welcoming, telling us all we needed to know for our stay and more. The cabin was spotless and has everything you need and things you didn't realise you needed (I didn't have the binoculars out of my hands for more than 5 minutes) Ned told us what wildlife to look out for and we weren't disappointed. We seen an otter, dozens of different bird species (seeing and hearing the Gannett's hit the water was a constant buzz) the Highland Cows, the Seal that seemed to live just outside the cabin and finally seeing a pod of porpoise swim past our balcony, wow. Ned told us we could attempt to catch a lobster and showed us the pots but did warn us that it's highly unlikely...on our last night we ate steak and a fresh LOBSTER! Stunning location, spotless property, and an unforgettable weekend. We stayed at Turner House for my stag weekend and couldn't have asked for a better spot. The house was immaculate on arrival—clean, spacious, and really well looked after. Every guest made good use of the amazing amenities: the games room was a hit, the hot tub and sauna were perfect for unwinding, and the outdoor areas gave us space to chill out or explore. The views over the River Lune were stunning from almost every room, and the peaceful setting made the whole weekend feel like a proper escape. Plenty of parking, great layout, and loads of thoughtful touches. Would 100% return—brilliant for groups who want comfort, a bit of luxury, and somewhere memorable.

Margaret's accommodation is simply fantastic: A beautiful location, spacious interior design and very nicely furnished. There was a delicious welcome in the fridge and in the kitchen, and fresh cut flowers in several areas. The fireplace also makes it cozy and warm on rainy days and the view in the conservatory is simply stunning. We can recommend the accommodation and the host in any case and if we come to Skye again, this is our accommodation. Thanks so much Silke and Roman
