Loved my stay, felt right at home straight away. Excellent hosts, very friendly, and pointed me in the right directions to make sure I got the most out of the local area. Culross is a very beautiful village full of historical character, close to Edinburgh, and gorgeous mountainous countryside. Great for anyone who enjoys the outdoors. The fresh eggs from the hens in the garden were a much enjoyed treat.

Jay's Nest it's a great place to stay. Friendly hosts, convenient location, close to the centre of the village and many beautiful walks on the doorstep. Perfect base for those who wish to explore Lake District. The flat has home from home feel. The kitchen has all essentials and no need to wash up, dishwasher does it for you. Clean, working washing machine with dryer if needed. The seating area very cosy with nice views through windows, you can relax after a long day walking. Big bedroom with comfortable bed and plenty of space for storing your gear/clothes etc. Again, super clean, couldn't ask for more. Fair size spotless ensuite with good size shower. Plenty of space to keep what you need in the bathroom. Sadly, due to the weather, we were not able to use the outside area where having a morning coffee or evening drink must be super enjoyable. It was our first time in LD and we will be back to Jay's Nest, that's for sure. Needless to say, we highly recommend Jay's Nest!

We liked here very much! Place was clean, Creydi helped us with clear instructions, many recommendations and quick responses. The location is right on point, very close to the beach but also in the heart of the city-party! We also enjoyed a smooth, flexible check-in. Highly recommend, especially that they opened another room nearby, in the same pretty style!

What a fabulous few days me and my boys had ..I’ve never seen them so relaxed (ages 35 and 37 )x I think it was the lovely energy we felt in the beautiful Nest xx looking out over the river each morning set us up for the day. Would recommend 100% , we had everything we needed ..I couldn’t fault it ..the bedrooms immaculate and the beds /bedding were soft clean and extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the gym and pool offer also x staff there were lovely at the Swan Hotel. Thank you xx

An absolutely beautiful little apparetment. Beautifully decorated, extremely well kitted out. High quality and definitely worth the money. First impression of the smell of fresh linen as we entered. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing place to stay while visiting Edinburgh. Located in a cute neighborhood where you can feel like a local. Very walkable. Excellent views in two directions, to the water in Newhaven/Leith and towards Arthur’s Seat/old town. Gorgeously decorated and also very comfortable. Anita shared super helpful recommendations that made our stay that much more memorable - even recommendations for our drive to and from London (to stop at Holy Island / Lindisfarne Castle which was a trip highlight). Kitchen properly outfitted for good cooking and grocery stores walkable nearby. So lovely - I wish I could live here.

How to start?? I would highly recommend Charles' place! When you get there and go up the stairs, you might think it's not going to be good. However, when you open the door you'll be taken back as to how beautiful his place is!! I felt right at home! Charles had wine, milk, OJ, bread and eggs. The sleigh bed was not only comfy but so pretty. He had great darkening curtains which also serve as a divider from the living room. The shower was welcoming. If I come back to London, I'd stay at Charles' place!

whoaw. What an incredible place to stay. Stunning cottage in an absolutely gorgeous setting with easy acces to many walks and places to visit. Spotlessly clean and a fully equipped kitchen with top-notch equipment with extra bonus of fridge and freezer. Jasper our dog was very well looked after and even Paula looked after him whilst we visited Chatsworth house. I loved the alpacas and their cute little voices. This little gem is a must if you vist the Peak District. one of the best if not the best Air B and B. we stayed in and we have been to many. Thanks Paula and Rob for looking after us. We didn't want to leave.

We had a lovely time at Sharon's place. It was clean and bright and suited our two couples nicely. It was walking distance to the royal mile in a quiet neighborhood. I would recommend Sharon's place to my friends!

Myself, my husband, our baby and mother in law all stayed here for a long weekend for a wedding in Kelham island. Khateeb was incredibly responsive, accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. The weather was particularly hot during our stay, which was a bit of a concern with our baby, and he dropped off a fan to help us cool the apartment down (which was massively appreciated). The flat was very clean and tidy and the sofa bed was set up ready for our arrival. The location was excellent, we recommend The Grind Cafe just across the bar. There was ample parking a short walk away and even though the apartment is in the heart of Kelham island, it wasn’t too noisy throughout the night. Would highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay here at Whitbarrow. The apartment was lovely, with the special addition of the balcony overlooking the beautiful views, which we enjoyed with a cuppa or two. Our boys loved the toys and the drawing that was available to play with but, of course, their highlight was the pool. Local distance to Lowther, buttermere, Penrith, pooley Bridge, Keswick etc so lots to do. We’ll be back soon! 🙂

Very happy stay! Small downside on the Velux blackout blinds that do not go down to the bottom. Very nice apartment, clean, close to the city center, the sea, shops. Everything is done on foot, even several playgrounds for children or walks. Simple and fast communication with Margaux. Perfect

Claire’s place was exactly what it looks like in the pictures. It is her home, so it is not clinical and soulless; it is homely and welcoming. It was spotlessly clean. Entry instructions were super clear. Claire was extremely helpful with bus/train details to get in and out of the city. There are tonnes of restaurants and coffee shops along Portobello High Street and also down onto the promenade. Being so close to the beach was an absolute joy - and The Beach House about a 10minute walk away did a terrific breakfast and lunch. Would totally recommend Portobello as a location and Claire’s place offered everything we needed.

Clare and Vanessa’s place was beautiful in a lovely cul de sac with t was very peaceful but a short walk to transport and great places to eat . The house was very pretty and comfortable with everything you need for a stay . The best bit was sitting in the gorgeous roof garden . I would highly recommend this lovely place

My husband and I are in our seventies and found the place very clean and well situated for what we needed we took our dog with us and the accommodation was spot on for him the local people were friendly and accommodating plenty of nice walks

Myself, my partner and our dog had a wonderful few days at Bridgefoot cottage, the photos don't do it justice is is bigger than it looks and so cosy. the garden is such a gem our dog loved it, fully enclosed and the hot tub was perfect after a long walk in the morning. Cottage itself was pristine, full of character and had everything we needed so we didn't need to contact the host for anything additional but I'm sure he would have been quick to help if we needed it. We cooked most nights but did order from the Indian (menu in the welcome book) which was a lovely change, we also walked into Calver and had some cake from the cafe there next to the Spar shop which was delicious. Great location with lots of beautiful walks nearby, one starting over the bridge and another if you turn left out of the cottage and continue down the lane you will pass through sheep fields and find yourself at Froggat woods. It truly felt like a home away from home and we would love to return in the future

The accommodation was very comfortable. Lots of cushions on the sofas and lots of equipment in the kitchen , good working space in kitchen and very nice dining table and chairs. Jo had left us so many extras - she really had thought of everything There were beautiful gardens to sit in with summer house and pond so peaceful and relaxing. Jo was very friendly and helpful Country side around was beautiful We were rather sad to leave

Absolute perfection- already trying to find dates to return. Beds were extremely comfortable, the place was completely spotless, property extensively spacious and the views! Oh my god, the views! Kitchen well catered for- Inc a Bosch coffee machine you should buy pods for. There is also a Webber kettle bbq outside. Hot tub was modern and just such a treat after the Glen Tarken hike. We had a delightful stay at Helen's place. Her charming home has lots of character and is located in a real neighborhood with a corner pub, and was cozy, comfortable and quiet. An off-street parking space directly in front of the house was a real plus. The kitchen and dining area were well equipped and enjoyable. The city centre took just a few minutes to reach on foot. We'll fondly remember our time spent in lovely Winchester.

We stayed overnight at Matthew's place to break our very long trip from Kent to Scotland. The house was large and cool on one of the hottest days of the year with a very pretty courtyard garden which was perfect for us and secure for our dog to relax in. The house was extremely comfortable with light airy rooms and a beautiful bathroom with a shower with excellent pressure. Matthew left us a welcome pack with bread, milk, tea/coffee, fruit and breakfast cereals which was really thoughtful as we were only staying the one night. Would 100% stay again and recommend Matthew's place. Thank you 😊
