Lovely unique place to stay. The stove kept the boat cozy even on a stormy night. Ger was very responsive to anything we needed. Fun exploring the canal and easy to get to site near. Groceries and restaurants walkable as well.

Princess Eve was a gorgeous place to stay, Paul was very helpful with meeting him with the key card for the marina etc. The boat itself is gorgeous, you can sit out on the front whilst having a drink and watching the sunset. Highly recommend. Archie

We stayed on the Gin Odyssey for the bank holiday weekend. Ric, the owner and host could not have been more accommodating. Clear instructions before arrival, all the information we needed for our break, wifi passwords, local recommendations he could not have been more helpful. The boat is located in a really good location, next to beach for fishing and crabbing and a 10minute walk from the harbour and restaurants. As a family of 5 with one younger child there was plenty for everyone. Highly recommended to anyone wanting something a bit different.

We had a wonderful time we was met by glen who was the perfect gentleman couldn’t have been more approachable and kind,made us feel extremely welcome and nothing was too much to make sure we had everything that we needed to enjoy our stay. Emma has a Beautiful boat and has gone to extreme lengths to ensure everything is to hand that you could possibly need to have an amazing stay.

Super ervaring! Toch eens wat anders dan anders. Duidelijke uitleg van Claire en instructies. De boot zag er gezellig uit en we hebben er heerlijk gekookt en buiten gezeten met ons wijntje. Alles werkt goed. Bed is niet bedoeld voor lange mensen, maar het lag heerlijk en lekker warm. Aanrader.

We had so much fun exploring Cambridge and Ely from the boat. It is a fantastic way to get to explore the area and have an adventure at the same time. The boat is lovely and was easy enough to navigate after getting a lesson from Gary. We would love to do it again and highly recommend!

Simon was a really lovely bloke and extremely helpful and attentive. The boat itself is gorgeous, spacious and relaxing. The local area is stunning and tranquil The boat house food was lovely and everyone we met was friendly and welcoming It felt like a lovely community of boat lovers and I really enjoyed being part of it for a night If you want a lovely couples get away from the stresses of family life then this is perfect A night felt like a week away and we will definitely be returning Thanks again Simon and Sharon for letting us stay on your beautiful boat. Excellent neighborhood and location and very easy public transport to all the things we wanted to do in London. Children loved the boat and very to close to restaurant options around Kew Green. Had such a lovely time!

We had a brilliant stay here, my 4 and 6 year old loved it, and we had a great time as a family, and then it was cost as a couple in the living space in the evening. Spotlessly clean and lovely extras like asking which toys and books for the kids. Amazing communication. Super convenient location for chelmsford, Colchester, Maldon, Hylands park.

Lovely and quite very tranquil place spacious clean had everything we needed .lovely cafe on site with great food well stocked shop in village good pub food This was something different staying on a boat I can’t recommend it enough . Definitely would stay there again
