Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Great Australian Bight

Everything about Stephanie’s house exceeded our expectations. Our stay was perfect, the property is breathtaking and Stephanie was great to communicate with. I highly recommend everyone chooses to stay at Dennington Farm when visiting Robe. We hope to come back one day!

A hidden gem that captures just how peaceful Denmark can be. The host was warm and communicative, making the whole experience effortless. The property has a creative, artsy charm while still feeling cosy, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything you need.

What a beautiful house! We had five adults and a dog in our group and there were plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and lounge areas. The area is beautiful and very private. There are so many beautiful personal touches throughout the house that made the stay feel extra special. We loved this house - probably my fave air bnb ever - and will definately look to stay again.

An absolutely stunning property, a view that is breathtaking every minute for sunrise, sunset, when all the local wildlife comes to visit and everything in between, an incredibly presented home with all the comforts you need and then some ! Excellent communication, easy access, we had a wonderful experience and stay highly highly highly recommend for your KI experience

Beautiful home, extremely well set up for guests, lovely rural views with some cute alpacas and sheep just over the fence. My 13 year old daughter and I stayed for a week of horse riding instruction nearby and felt so happy to be staying here in this gorgeous spot! We loved the kitchen and laundry facilities, and huge plus for the amazing hamper of breakfast goodies on arrival, as we had not been to the shops yet and has a lovely breakfast of bacon & eggs on first morning. Beds and pillows nice and comfy, and great amount of space in all the bedrooms and living spaces. Convenient to Meadows town with bakery, pub and cafes, and not too far from a supermarket at Mt Barker. We had a very comfortable stay, and would love to come again!

We had a great weekend at Jane's lovely cottage. Checkin was a breeze as we just walked in and the key was waiting for us on the kitchen bench. The interior was well designed and spacious with everything we needed for a quiet getaway. The cottage was just a short drive to Stirling and Hahndorf where we strolled through shops and tried their excellent restaurants under the autumn foliage. All in all, we felt like we have just spent a weekend in a friend's house.

We absolutely loved our stay! It was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. Great sunrises and sunsets with a very short walk to the beach. Thank you for having us!

Saltwater provides a private and serene environment surrounded by nature, wildlife and landscape appeal - with a glimpse of Eastern Cove. Wonderful place to be based in to explore the Island. We had a pleasant, comfortable and enjoyable stay - total of 5 nights. Modern and comfortable interior with a fabulous fireplace ! Thanks heaps Dave :-)

Ann Marie was extremely accommodating even extending our check out time without even requesting it. The place was just as the pictures showed and checking in was extremely easy. Much recommended for others to stay here

A perfectly located apartment to explore Hahndorf and surrounds. The accommodation was clean and well equipped, spacious and homely. Nelia was very helpful and responsive with any questions I had. I would heartily recommend this property if you’re planning to stay in Hahndorf. Quiet, well placed and still only a short drive to Adelaide (less than 30 mins).

Great location for an Airbnb, right by the sea front -lots of places to eat nearby and easy access to the tram (just use your debit card to tag on when boarding the tram -super easy for us visiting from WA) Everything felt very safe, which was great for us with 3 small kids. Playground & Beach House for kids entertainment within 5-10 min walk. Doughballs restaurant great for kids too! We found Julie’s apartment to be very clean, had everything we needed and more! Thanks for a great stay :)

Lindsay was a great host, gave us some tips of good places to eat and see. The air bnb was lovely, clean, had everything we needed and more, even a sweet welcome gift. Great, quiet location, easy to find. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

We had a great stay at the apartment, it was stylish yet cosy, and walking distance from all the amenities we needed on a family holiday! The place is a stone’s throw from Henley Beach, and we really enjoyed the lovely sunrise and sunsets from the balcony and dining area. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches from the host Lucy, the pantry and breakfast supplies were especially helpful as we got in late in the evening on the first day. The apartment is also equipped with a baby cot and high chair, and kid friendly utensils which made our mealtimes so much easier. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back very soon!

Well appointed apartment with large rooms. The greatest asset was its proximity to the beach. It was lovely walking along the foreshore. Wendy was very accommodating for our family and made our stay in Adelaide memorable.

Although quite rustic, the location and views are truly amazing. Even though the property is situated in a popular location, with a busy coffee shop across the road, once you close the doors it is quiet and peaceful inside. The welcome goodies were an amazing touch with fresh fruit, breakfast cereal, fruit juice and more! With the waters edge directly across the road, and endless beaches to stroll on in both directions, we had an amazingly relaxing and wonderful time away. We would definitely stay again when visiting Henley Beach. Lucy is an amazing host, always quick to respond to any questions or queries we had before and during our stay. Thanks for having us Lucy, your property is truly lovely and homely! :-)

Yael and Robert provided a gorgeous eco retreat on an amazing section of Kangaroo Island. All the local goodies and recommendations given was amazing. Super attentive and responsive throughout our whole stay. The villa was a great location for ‘home base’ to explore the island from. Lots of wildlife can be seen from the villa. Some special treats were a koala only one metre off the ground as well as a kangaroo with its Joey. Would definitely stay again!

The best Airbnb so far!! What a view. A must to book - don’t hesitate. Every morning my daughter and I would watch the family of Blue Wrens forage the garden and count how many frogs we could find in the pond. A place to reconnect with nature and switch off. We didn’t feel the need to leave once our entire stay.

My partner and I loved our stay in Ruhe for our anniversary. Aaron and the team have thought of everything, right down to the little details. Our highlights of the trip included soaking in the hot tub on the chilly afternoons, taking a walk down to feed the alpacas and sourcing some carrots for the beautiful boys, Harold and Earl. (We loved ‘The Paddock’ so much it has made it onto our Wedding list) Overall, we couldn’t recommend this stay enough and will definitely be back!

'The Nest' is a beautiful place to stay, not only for the stunning views but the amenities and finishes of the place were absolutely gorgeous and luxurious. We felt comfortable immediately. It is a perfect base for a few days of exploring KI while providing the perfect amount of relaxation after some exploring (or even just for a whole day of rest). We'd love to come back in the winter sometime to rug up near the fire with a good coffee from the coffee machine while enjoying more of the view.

What a wonderful weekend away. We watched the sunrise over the valley and enjoyed the serene surroundings. The villa was in immaculate condition and the hosts were very sweet. We will definitely be back. Thank you Briony and David, our little boy now wants to be a farmer!

A wonderful place to stay - easy walkable distance to both the beach and the Main Street for places to eat. Great indoor and outdoor spaces - Anne was a very welcoming and friendly host who made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommend!

The house was beautiful and in a relatively quiet area. Host was very quick to respond whenever we had a question and very quick and proactive to resolve a door handle that came loose. Will definitely consider staying again and recommending it to others.
