Holiday rentals with a kayak in Gravenhurst

One of the most incredible stays I’ve ever experienced in Ontario. This cottage is even better in person; beautifully decorated, impeccably clean and absolutely stunning and serene surroundings. Retreat 82 has all the amenities you could ask for and more, and our dog loved every minute of our stay too. We can’t wait to come back!

we had a concert at Casino Rama and this was a great place to spend the night. it was very quiet, peaceful and close to the casino.

The rental place is clean and well organized. Nina is quick to respond. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place in the area.

Sooper awesome and amazing host Valeriya!! Valeria’s river house is an extraordinary getaway. She was really awesome and friendly, and was available for us when we arrived even during bad weather and patiently gave us a tour of the house, hot tub and everything available in the vicinity. Valeriya was quick to respond to all our queries and provided flexible check-in time. The place is really awesome with clear instructions. The hot tub was clean and had all amenities next to it. It’s an amazing experience during the night. We enjoyed it. All cooking utensils were neat and clean, we loved cooking and felt right at home. The house was really cozy and comfortable having a fireplace.If you are planning for a sunbath that’s even available with beach view, bring your beach blanket! Our stay here was fantastic. The house is big with plenty of rooms for a big group. It was clean and orderly. There is a beautiful dock with a canoe, kayak and life jackets. Our host Fred was very kind and accommodating. I would recommend this to anyone looking a cottage getaway.

We absolutely loved our stay at Maya & Greg’s cottage. We spent the May long weekend here and loved the peaceful environment and beautiful surroundings. The cottage was exactly as pictured, there was lots to do, and the hosts were very friendly. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay! Our host Dylan was very quick to respond and extremely accommodating. The home fit our large group comfortably. The home was spotless, beds were very comfortable and we appreciated all the little extras (lots of towels, warm blankets, coffees, teas, little treats) Hot tub was very relaxing and clean. Lots to do, we all enjoyed ourselves and we’re already planning our return stay!! 😊

The property was absolutely beautiful with lots of space to roam around and fish. Overall it was a splendid experience. Dave and Linette waited for us during check out as we were late. The instructions were absolutely clear and Linette responded within minutes for any questions that we had during our stay.

Beautiful, clean cottage on a beautiful lake! Loved the sauna and the deck down by the dock. Was the perfect size for the 6 of us. Kitchen was great, beds were super comfortable. Would come back for sure.

Susan is a great host, very responsive and accommodating. The home was fully equipped with everything you would find in your own home, as well everything was clean. Beautiful sunsets on the dock on a peaceful lake. Highly recommend renting the extra kayak and SUP boards.

This place was perfect for hosting our group of 10. Large living room space, clean bathrooms, plenty of bedrooms including a separate bunkie room for those wanting some peace and quiet, beautiful view of the lake, large kitchen for prepping food. I would definitely recommend this spot.

What a dream of a trip to Muskoka! Eight of my friends and I stayed at this lovely cottage and had the most amazing time. The cottage itself is absolutely gorgeous and felt so welcoming, providing the perfect backdrop for our long-overdue get-together. Our host Ashley, was an absolute gem – always quick to respond and incredibly accommodating. We were so touched when they offered us an extra night because of some minor issues that were completely out of their hands. It just shows how much they care about their guests' experience. We're already dreaming of our next visit; this cottage is definitely the place we'll return to!

We were there for the huge snowfall mid February, never left the property and we were never bored. Spent hours creating a toboggan run around the cottage, it was so quiet outside, lovely. The hot tub and the sauna were a huge hit. Inside there is a cupboard full of games and puzzles and lego and a large bookshelf but the prize goes to the karaoke machine, that was a blast for young and old. The communal space was wide open and so bright, enjoyed creating meals and still being part of the fun. The beds were comfy, clean and there were full heating pads on the beds, loved it. Local store had the coffee we forgot and lots of firewood. Steven made sure the driveway was ploughed for us early the day we were leaving, no problems on the main roads. Loved the location, perhaps one day we will get to come in the summer and check out the waterfalls and restaurants. Thank you Steven.

We had a lovely stay at James' cottage, the view is stunning, the place is very spacious and the kitchen is fully equipped. My favorite is to enjoy the view on the hammock or the swing in the living room. The location is very convenient, only a short drive to town. We would love to be back for the fall. Thank you for hosting us.

Lovely little getaway. Beautiful views. Very clean and well appointed. Great communication with Janna and fast responses. Welcome booklet was very helpful and we even ordered pizza for delivery on our arrival (as recommended ).

We loved our stay here! The house was spotless and had everything we could’ve needed and more. The dock and watercrafts were our favourite daytime spot, and the dining table was perfect for groups games in the evenings. We didn’t get to use the fire pits but there were two of them! We’ll definitely be back!

We had a great stay at Lisa's place. Our family spent a lot of time on the water exploring the lake in the available canoe and kayaks and really enjoyed the sauna and hot tub in the evenings. The outdoor space is setup perfectly for living outside on those sunny days and inside the cabin is cozy and has all the amenities you need if the weather isn't great.

We booked the airbnb very last minute and Lixin reached out to us promptly and gave us clear instructions. The cottage is stunning , it actually looks better than the pictures. overall, we had a wonderful weekend over there.

This was the best way to experience the beauty of Ontario. The rusty cabin is clean and warm, with many old records and fascinating books when it gets dark, and well maintained kayaks for daytime. Bill is an amazing guy, holding some of the history and knowledge of the place in his heart and he is so willing to share it with the others. Book this place to get a sweet taste of Algonquin and Little Hawk lake.

Brendon’s place is truly a gem. Cozy cottage with a beautiful lakefront dock and beach. We didn’t get the best weather but can tell this place would be amazing with the sun shining during the summer months. Overall we still had a great time here and plan to return hopefully. If you are considering coming here, don’t hesitate. You won’t regret it.

We stayed at cabin #1 during October 11-13 weekend. We loved this place. Very clean, cute cabin, worth the price. Amy was very quick to respond. There are kayaks, canoes to use, firepit, bbq grill. We had awesome experience. I am looking forward to book it again. I highly recommend this place for with kids trip. There is beautiful playground by the beach.

I highly recommend the Lake House in Dorset/Raven Shores. This cottage was perfectly situated and close to scenic attractions and many trails. The property was picturesque morning, noon, and night. The perfect spot with easy access to the lake. Their customer service and attention to detail is second to none, exceeding my expectations every time. The hosts were readily available and responded quickly. The cottage was warm and Cozy "just like home." It was equipped with everything a family would need and more. We would stay again.

Our stay at Otter Lake was relaxing and enjoyable. Photos don't do this cottage justice, it was extremely spacious for us (4 adults and 1 pet). We spent most of our time swimming in the lake, bbqing, sitting on the dock or around the fire pit. The lake is soooo peaceful and when we arrived we were greeted by a loon 🥹. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat, thank you for your hospitality, Taylor!
