Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Granvin Municipality

we found villa tippetue easily, very nicely located with a view of the Sognefjord. we did indeed have to go through a piece of forest of about 70m first. unfortunately not much luck with the weather, we did see a little sun every day. the cottage has a very nice terrace with a view of the fjord and a cozy living room. there were maps available for walks in the area, also detailed laminated maps. unfortunately the very local part was not present, probably accidentally taken by a previous visitor. We downloaded the Norwegian maps app Norgeskart. The stupet naveset tronvik walk - on the flank there - is also well marked. There is a ladder and a section where ropes assist the descent (our dog could easily find his own way around). The ground was still quite wet and sometimes slippery (early June) in hoyanger also nice walking. To flam it is a good 3h drive. Recommended!

The location is amazing. Words can’t describe how beautiful the valley and farm are. Jannike was welcoming and went above and beyond. I highly recommend this Air BnB and hope we will return again!

Maria and Jarle were fantastic hosts! The Cottage by the Fjord is a charming and cozy spot that felt like home. We loved the cider walk and local hikes and maybe most of all, just hanging out on the water and in the backyard. On top of it, Jarle and Maria were quick to respond and assist. Thank you, Jarle, for telling us the history of your family home. So special! Fantastic and idyllic stay!

My mother and I had a fantastic stay! The house was very clean and in good condition. The view was spectacular, much better than expected from images. Would highly recommend to stay here. Would love to come back one day.

We had an absolutely awesome time at Espen’s place in Røldal. The cabin was super modern and clean and had everything we needed for an amazing couple of days enjoying the peace and quiet of Roldal. The view from the cabin is amazing from both inside and out, the beds were so comfortable and Espen was a brilliant host. He recommended great things to do in the area and was super responsive to any questions we had. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. We would love to come back!

WOW WOW WOW. I can't even believe we got to stay here. What a privilege! It looks even better than the pictures. The view is unbeatable. Marit was kind and warm, available but not overbearing. I mentioned we were doing the sauna in Aurland (recommend!! Aurland, not Flåm!) and she left towels out for us. messaged to ask how the trip was going and if we needed a shoe dryer. Richard and his family were outstanding hosts! Welcoming, caring, friendly, and just all one could wish for in a host. After a few minutes of chatting, we felt like we'd known them forever. A double rainbow adorned the sky after a storm, and thanks to Richard, we were outside enjoying it and marveling at it; otherwise, we would have missed it. Between the check-out flexibility and the offer to help with our car lockout situation in Flåm, Richard was just amazing. One of the best experiences ever. Thank you so much for having us! Very authentic renovated Telemark barn. Located on the Totak. View of the lake and the still partly snow-covered mountains. Berit and Knut are very friendly people and like to have a chat. All basic amenities are available in Rauland.

I can’t recommend this property enough, we felt right at home. The hosts are so attentive and hospitable, we even changed our plans to use the kayak and to appreciate the location. We spent hours just looking out over the lake at the stunning views. The pictures we took look photoshopped they are so perfect. Family have already asked for the property details as want to stay. Our only regret is we couldn’t stay longer.

We absolutely loved our stay at Anna’s place. The Airbnb was spotless and the kitchen had every utensil you could need. The beds were so comfortable too! The views right outside the Airbnb were breathtaking. The Airbnb is a short distance to downtown Flåm - perfect location for anyone trying to explore this area. Finally, Anna’s hospitality was top notch - we felt right at home the moment we arrived! Thank you Anna for being such a spectacular host! I give this Airbnb and Anna my highest recommendation.

Loved staying here! Perfect location that was quiet enough but yet super close to shops, bars, and restaurants. The hosts were great communicators and the Airbnb was set up nicely with very clear instructions for check in and out.

Mathilde was a wonderful host. She gave us great restaurant recommendations. The apartment was extremely clean and bright. The apartment is centrally located. It is close to great restaurants, coffee shops, etc. We absolutely loved our stay! We hope to be back.

I felt completely comfortable in the accommodation! It is very cozy, sparkling clean and a real little oasis of well-being. Everything you need was available – from kitchen equipment to loving details that made the stay particularly pleasant. The hostess was very warm and helpful. The connection to the city was also easily accessible by public transport. I can only recommend the place and would love to come back!
