what a wonderful stay in a beautiful little chalet, warm and comfortable with absolutely everything we needed. the proximity to the lake was fabulous and the garden and bird song was so beautiful. absolutely lovely and would stay again anytime. I highly recommend this place to anyone its fantastic

I stayed at Mark's incredible chalet for 4 weeks, and I couldn't be happier with the unforgettable experience. The location is even beyond what's described: the view of the Alps and the Rhone valley is so glorious it'll leave you breathless on a daily basis. So many properties emphasize a great view, but this is one of those rare times when reality is even better! The chalet itself is situated in a very quiet area and the house is virtually soundproof. Even with all the windows open, you'll rarely hear anything but the birds and the breeze. The chalet is very clean and modern, and the kitchen is a special treat -- experienced cooks will love it, nothing is lacking. It's also close to almost everything in Crans-Montana. Mark is a fantastic host. He was quick to answer all my questions, gave me recommendations, and was very easy and reasonable. That's a huge plus for any traveler. Overall, this was a memorable trip, due in large part to one of the best properties you will EVER rent.

Our week at Thierry's went very well with a very nice welcome and a flexible departure (Friday evening instead of Saturday) A very cozy accommodation in the center of Abondance with the convenience store 5 minutes' walk and a very good bakery also nearby (franco-suisse), many hikes accessible directly from the accommodation and many nice bike routes Thank you so much for this stay, we will be happy to come back!!

9.5/10 Review for Max Chalet Gimmelwald Max Chalet was perfect for our family of three—a fantastic base for a mountain getaway! Surroundings: Gimmelwald is stunning, with hiking right outside the door. We loved the Northface Trail and the easy gondola access to Mürren, Schilthorn, and the valley. Parking at Stechelberg was only $10/day. Entertainment: Hiking was our main activity—beautiful trails and mountain huts. Pension Gimmelwald and Mountain Hostel next door offer meals, drinks, and great pizza (8.5/10). Food: Dining options nearby, more in Mürren, and a grocery store for essentials to cook at Max. The House: Spacious, cozy, clean, with big windows framing epic views. Well-equipped kitchen, laundry room, and a great patio. Quiet at night (bring a fan for white noise). Floors creak but didn’t bother us. Host: Marianne was super responsive and helpful. Summary: We’d absolutely stay again—9.5/10! (We’ve never given a 10, so this is top marks from us!)

I can’t say enough nice things about Eric’s home! It is so close to the train station you can walk to / from with large luggage. The view is stunning, the house is pristine, and he has thought of absolutely everything and more than a guest would need. Everything is labeled and organized and I was impressed. He was so great to deal with and incredibly generous with his things (binoculars, chargers, phone, etc) I would say this is by far the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at.

We spent a weekend with the family and children and the chalet was perfect, large, several bedrooms and bathroom, everyone had their space. Very peaceful place in the middle of nature, a superb terrace and barbecue to enjoy the beautiful days, good amenities in the chalet and very clean. We recommend 100% 🙂

We had a wonderful stay with our 2-year-old daughter. The tips Marc has collected on his Airbnb page are great. We have made 2 beautiful walks. Cottage is equipped with all comforts and wonderfully private. And then that view!!

If you are thinking of staying here, do it! This is an amazing home and somehow even better in person. It’s very close to the train station (we walked it with a baby and luggage and had no issue. No steep incline and mostly paved). Jacuzzi spa, sauna and laundry in the basement. Tucked away on a quiet street but right in the middle of town (next to the oldest hotel in zermatt). Marc was extremely helpful, accommodating and friendly. This spot is more of a 5 star hotel with the extra space and private amenities. We would come back in a heartbeat. Beyond impressed. There’s a reason why the reviews are all glowing.

A great place for 2 families, or for a larger group, has everything you need and more! Fantastic views, peaceful surrounding and enough space to enjoy and relax. Nicole was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely recommend her place.

We had a fabulous stay and loved the beautiful village and surrounding mountains. We had an excellent time hiking, sledding and building snowmen. The home was wonderfully cosy and quiet.

We had a great time! The view was amazing, and we loved the jacuzzi and sauna. We grilled outside and enjoyed perfect weather. The best part was canyoning with the kids just 10 minutes away. We’ll definitely come back!

The highlight was the incredible boat ride they arranged on the lake—gliding across the turquoise waters surrounded by mountains was a memory we’ll cherish forever. Beautiful views over looking the lake and the mountains. The hike up to the place is totally worth it and Gerard was a star for bringing the quad bike and transporting the luggage up.

Very beautiful environment, between the lake and a really beautiful massif. The chalet has a beautiful, large, very pleasant plot in good weather. As for the chalet itself, no surprise compared to the listing, except that the bedroom with the 2 single beds does not have a solid door. It is separated from the corridor by shutters, the frame being too narrow to install a door. It didn't bother us, but it surprised us.

Charming accommodation in a great location. Everything you need is available. Ideal for relaxing and switching off. The region offers many opportunities for excursions, activities, walking and eating. Pleasant camping with friendly residents and helpful staff. Ideal for us as a family with two children! We also enjoyed the proximity to the lake to the fullest. Franziska was accessible throughout and supportive in all matters. Excellent! It was great, thanks a lot.
