We loved our stay at this charming lakeside cabin! The perfect blend of rustic appeal and modern comforts made it an ideal getaway. While it felt authentically cozy and tucked away, the thoughtful amenities—like reliable Wi-Fi, flatscreen TVs, and an easy-to-use coffee machine—made our trip stress-free and enjoyable. The outdoor hot tub was an absolute hit, especially situated right next to the fire pit—there's nothing quite like soaking under the stars after roasting marshmallows by the campfire. Mornings were just as memorable, sipping coffee from the swinging bench overlooking a truly stunning lake view. The location was also ideal, just a short drive from fun eateries in Bar Harbor and the beautiful trails of Acadia National Park, offering us plenty of opportunities for exploration. The hosts were fantastic, quickly responding to all our questions and making us feel right at home. We highly recommend this spot!

Paradise on the Lake was just that….Paradise. From Kayaking to swimming, Paradise on the lake was exactly what our two families needed. A great place to unwind before back to school. The beds were comfortable and the cottage was very cozy.

We had a fantastic stay at Ryan’s cabin! The place was cozy and very clean. Ryan was incredibly helpful and responsive, which made everything easy from start to finish. We especially loved the fire pit and the hot tub — perfect for unwinding in the evenings. Would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. Thanks again, Ryan!

We stayed at the Bambi Inn on Art Farm and loved everything about it! The space is thoughtfully designed with cheerful custom art and decor. The hosts designed a custom manual/booklet that blows the typical air bnb binder out of the water. The home was well equipped with everything you might need from extra blankets & towels, to kitchen and bathroom needs, first aid supplies, sunscreen, bugspray, and more. It’s impossible not to smile when arriving at the Bambi Inn. The hosts provide bicycles to use for the short ride to beautiful Lamoine Beach. We were able to get to Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, and other neighboring towns with ease. I’d highly recommend booking here!

This place is beyond words! Spent 4 days...booked 7 for next year. What a gem! Beachcombing, on your own private cove, the setting, the view... saw habour porpoise, seal, eagles and of course lots of deer. An incredible getaway to disconnect. Only wanted to stay longer! The place is simply perfect! Even the fog is fascinating and atmospheric. Never slept better! Thanks Ashley! Much appreciated...see you next year Deer Island and Chocolate Cove! This cabin is the perfect retreat when you need to get away! Cozy yet chic, it has everything you need for a relaxing weekend in the woods. We loved that we could bring our dog too!

The cottage was absolutely perfect. Cozy and comfortable with a great view. We went for a fishing trip and this location was ideal. Allison was a great host, very responsive and extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend and we will be back next year!

Probably my favorite bnb I’ve stayed at. Such a unique and peaceful place! The bed is a little small for someone 6ft, but that’s my only minor complaint. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay at Angela’s place. Her instructions for finding the cabin were very detailed, there were tons of amenities, and the cabin was set up for everything you would need. The view of the river was amazing, and the fire pit by the riverbank made for lovely mornings watching the sunrise. We’re usually not big fans of outhouses/porta-potties but the one at this cabin was frequently serviced and very clean! 10/10 would stay again!

Trevanna was so easy to communicate with. She answered all my questions so I knew exactly what I needed and what to expect. Her home was warm and welcoming and the perfect location for out family weekend. I look forward to going back someday.

The views were amazing!! We felt right at home! The linens were fresh and clean and because it is so peaceful there we slept great. Nice place to go for a morning walk with the dog; he was free to roam the whole deck because they have a gate on it. Kay was very friendly and helpful and responded to all of our questions quickly.

My husband, toddler, dog and I had a tremendous stay at Joshua’s camp. The description matched the photos exactly—and quite honestly, the camp is even better in person. We loved our time here, and wish we’d had longer! It’s in a gorgeous location with endless opportunities for hiking (even outside of Baxter SP 🙂) within a reasonable distance nearby. We found it rustic, but it had everything we needed to be comfortable (even when the power went out during a windstorm). Joshua was a very responsive and communicative host, and we would love to stay here again!

We had such an amazing stay at the Little G! The cottage was absolutely perfect: squeaky clean, peaceful, cozy/comfy, and had ALL the essentials. Terri & Tim truly thought of everything! Each time we opened another drawer or cabinet, we were surprised to find things we didn't even know we needed! We really enjoyed the tub for two and even the refreshing outdoor shower. Though it stayed in the 40s & 50s for our stay (brrrr), the shower was plenty hot! We are already looking forward to our next visit!

I cannot say enough great things about our stay here. The outdoor shower is absolutely incredible; so well crafted! If you’re looking at the listing and hesitant to book due to the toilet situation - don’t be! It was cleaner than quite a few other places we’ve stated that had “real” bathrooms. The cabin itself had everything we needed and more (comfortable bed, extra blankets, anything you’d need to cook simple meals, etc.). Everything was very clean and the rules & checkout instructions were very clear, which was great because that is definitely not always the case when you book a place. Bethany is a gracious and responsive host and the area is incredible. If you’re looking for a place in this area, I highly recommend staying here if it’s available for your dates!

Great location for our needs. Peaceful atmosphere, ambience. Nice hosts and other guests were also very friendly. The cook and community building was very welcoming. our tooms in the cabin were spacious and I loved the artistic touches. best of all, we slept very well. i nice comfortable early summer getaway. I think your cabins will be a perfect getaway during our New Brunswick Fall Foilage Season. Thank you for hosting us.

This was our second time staying at one of Bob and Deb’s properties and again it was wonderful! The place is beautiful, serene, and a short walk to the lake. There was even an AC, which is a luxury for a cabin in the woods. Also, Bob and Deb are such kind and responsive hosts. We will 100% stay at one of their properties again.

The cabin was very comfortable, quiet, and just as described. Everything you need for cooking is already there. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean, wifi was amazing. We went kayaking one day and it was beautiful. There are tons of rocks just below the surface of the water near the islands but you can see them because the water is so clear. The drive to the cabin is a long gravel road and thankfully we have 4WD because it might have been harder to get up the driveway from the cabin if we didn’t. There were loons on the pond every day and night but they were fun to see and hear. We also had some hummingbirds visit the feeder at the cabin and loved watching them our whole stay. The water from the faucet is from the lake but it’s so clear you almost wouldn’t know it. I would highly recommend staying here if you want a quiet, natural place to relax.
