Holiday rentals with lake access in Grand Bend

Cozy place for a holiday getaway. Close drive to restaurants and town of Lexington. The lake was beautiful and stars at night were very visible, a huge plus for us during the evenings to use the telescope we brought along for the trip.

Stayed here with three girlfriends for a weekend and loved Shay's place! The information that Shay provided was clear and she was very responsive. The house is beautiful - lovely design and decoration, well stocked kitchen and comfortable areas to lounge and relax. The location right on the water was so pretty. If I wanted to host a family gathering, I would definitely want to come back here. Well worth the money and highly recommended.

Just returned from a 3 night stay for a lady's getaway. Trudy's place is just perfect inside and out. We enjoyed the numerous deck spaces, the view by the water, the firepit outside and even the live leafs game outdoors on the projector screen set up. So many amenities which is fantastic not to have to bring. Tons of sleeping space, open kitchen area with very large dinner table to accommodate a gathering. The house was perfect for our two families to share while in town for a hockey tournament. The place was nice and clean and had everything we needed. The place looks even better than in the photos. Would definitely return

This Airbnb was nothing short of amazing! The location was stunning, overlooking the water. The Airbnb itself was bright and spacious, with everything you needed to feel right at home. The sunset view was absolutely breathtaking every night and the hot tub was such a nice treat after long days. The only 2 things that could make it even better: First would be having hand towels in the bathrooms (George did tell us we had to bring towels, but we figured he meant bath towels and didn’t think to bring hand towels too). Second, the stairs to the airbnb door are quite steep which was fine for us, but worth making note of if anyone has mobility issues. Also, the private beach access is borderline dangerous, with broken steps and uneven ground. However, it did look like there was construction underway for new stairs, hopefully! Overall, George was great and we loved this place. Looking forward to booking again in the future!

Jason was an excellent host and very responsive to any questions we had. The house was perfect for us and had everything we needed The area is quiet with lots of nice spots to walk and amenities close by

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was great for our group of four couples. Everyone had their own room, bathroom and plenty of space. The kitchen was large and had plenty of cooking utensils. We enjoyed sitting on the deck during the day and using the fire pit at night. It is in a walkable location close to many restaurants. I appreciated how communicative the host was during our stay. If we are in the area again, we would definitely stay there again.

Good cottage and very aesthetically pleasing, great location, failed to let us know his daughter stayed in the room upstairs but thankfully she had a separate entrance. He was still there upon our arrival but left shortly after. Dirty floor and cob webs but other than that very clean.

We had a wonderful stay at Grant and Jane’s suite. We visited Port Stanley for our little one’s first Mother’s Day, and had an amazing stay. The unit is located bang on top of the Port Stanley marina with breathtaking views of the pier and Lake Erie. It is located very close to a number of nice eateries, and everything you’ll need at a quaint tourist town. To help us out, the owners were sweet enough to arrange for a booster seat for the baby. The house was extremely clean, with an abundant supply of extras and toileteries. The checkin and checkout processes very super smooth, and they happily agreed to let us take the time to checkout with the baby’s nap schedule. Port Stanley and the surrounding Lake Erie coast is a beautiful trip down from Toronto, and we’re extremely grateful to Grant and Jane for letting us celebrate a memorable mother’s day weekend! A+++ and Highly recommended!!

It’s a cute little rustic spot right in the heart of downtown Stratford, emphasis on rustic but that’s the vibe. I wouldn’t book if you have mobility issues but otherwise it’s worth the stay in this historic loft style apartment. Host was helpful and instructions were very clear. I’d stay again

Patricia's place was super clean and was very responsive to me when I had questions, since I've never stayed at an Airbnb before. Was very homey and such a great location, I'll definitely have to come back again!

We travel to Stratford every year and have done so for about 30 years. We have stayed in a variety of accommodations over the years! We prefer Air BnBs over hotels, and because we travel in a group (we were 8), this location matched our needs perfectly. We like to park the car when we arrive and not use it again until we leave (Stratford is fantastically walkable) -- no problem! We like to try different restaurants -- the location is perfect for that (and for attending theatre). We're close family, but we also like some alone time -- with four bedrooms for 8 people, this apartment offered that! The apartment was large, open and bright with basic amenities suitable for our 2 night stay. The beds were comfortable, and the shared areas were roomy enough for us to gather. The hosts were amazingly responsive -- they provided detailed and accurate info ahead of time, and quickly answered our questions.

This is a basement apartment Airbnb, which I usually try to avoid, as we have experienced a basement Airbnb where we could hear every word the owners above us were saying. But this basement Airbnb we could not hear anything above us, so it was private. There is a soaking tub/shower with a rain shower shower head. The tub/shower, being a soaking tub, is high to get in and out of. But it has excellent water pressure. The bathroom is not right next to the bedrooms. We always bring our own nightlights in case this is the case. So, with the tall tub and bathroom not near the main bedroom, I am not sure I would recommend it for older people such as ourselves, but for a younger person, it would be perfect.

This was the nicest Air Bnb we have ever stayed at. Very clean and homey. It was fully stocked with all of the things you could think of. It’s beautifully decorated, has lots of towels and blankets available and makes you feel right at home. Nina was super responsive and kind. I would highly recommend staying here and will definitely choose this place when I’m back in the area. This place is a gem!

Had a great stay here! It’s very clean, modern and has everything you need. Olivia was great at responding to my questions and providing some local recommendations. Cant forget the amazing view of the St. Clair river as soon as you walk out your door. Highly recommend!

If I could leave an infinite amount of stars I would. My boyfriend and I had an incredible stay and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Wendy is a fast, reliable, and great communicator. We were welcomed with a homemade charcuterie board, wine, and it was so appreciated after a long drive. Her and her husband are some of the most down to earth and genuine people I’ve met, and we are grateful for their kindness and hospitality. They are super knowledgeable about the area and had plenty of recommendations and suggestions so we could make the most out of our trip. The neighbourhood is safe and was easy to locate. The space was clean, easy to navigate and everything we could have needed was provided. We felt at home and never wanted to leave. Signing the guestbook on the way out was a sweet end to an amazing weekend - definitely hope to be back soon! Our first time in Bayfield was a treat and we will remember this weekend forever ❤️ Thank you Wendy and Rocco x

Such a great place to stay when you are in the area. This is the second time we have stayed here. Everything is as described and very clean. The property is equipped with everything you will need. The small extras like coffee were truly appreciated, especially when getting in late. By far my favorite place to stay in Port Franks.

Great cottage! Perfect for a family getaway. We enjoyed the beautiful beach which was a short walk away and the lovely yard. We had several bonfires and enjoyed the cozy cottage environment. Wonderful stay!

This gem of a cottage is a great value for the comfort, location and amenities. Felt right at home yet had beach front access to Lake Huron (Bright's Cove) in just a stone's throw. Jayson was super responsive to any questions and answered any queries in a timely manner. The cottage had adorable touches, including some old-school games (we enjoyed a Scrabble game while listening to the antique-looking but bluetooth accessible music player). Would highly recommend if you're in the area, or looking for a beachy getaway in a quiet, safe and cozy neighbourhood.

This experience was wonderful! The house was not only very quirky with unique furniture and cute pieces, but it was very well stocked. There were endless towels, amenities, games and books, and a helpful book was included that had all relevant information regarding the house and the surrounding area. Although it was too cold to stay at the beach for long, the sunset views were beautiful, the towns around were fun to explore, and the Glen Rock Conservation was a great hike. Overall, great experience and I would definitely go again in the future! :)

Beautiful place and a wonderful stay. An issue outside of the host's control came up but they were proactive, kind, and helpful in addressing it.

Cam was unbelievably accommodating and communicative, always responding to my chats and queries within a short period of time. The place was beautiful and exactly as he described. With all the knick knacks, it really made you feel like you were staying in a rustic cottage. The hot tub was an awesome addition, especially since we didn’t have the best weather conditions for our stay. We stayed there for me and my girlfriend’s 4 year anniversary, and I’m so glad we got to stay at Cam’s place. If I could give it 6 stars I would. If you’re considering staying here, I recommend it highly! Bayfield is also so beautiful and theres so many boutiques and cute shops to shop at!

I would say the listing undersells how awesome this place is - The virtually private beach, beautiful sunrise view and complete privacy is unparalleled for the price. The cottage is perfect for a couple on a getaway. We enjoyed ourselves immensely and would absolutely come back. If you go, flip through the history book in the cottage! Thank you! Kyle and Jess
