House holiday rentals in Grad Korčula

This house is as generous as the people who built it. Lucija and Peter were perfect hosts, both before & during our stay. It is easy to see that they have carefully considered every detail so that all you have to do is settle in and enjoy everything you imagine a holiday to be. If you stock up on supplies en route there really is no need to leave. As much as we would love to keep it all to ourselves, I cannot recommend it enough. Enjoy.

One of a kind place on Korčula! The pictures don’t do it justice. Extremely relaxing and private - we pretty much lived in the pool. It does get hot and a bit buggy. There is no AC and you need the windows open for a breeze but there aren’t screens. So expect mosquitoes. The kitchen is small but functional. Keep the door shut and clean up counters quickly and the bugs won’t bother you in there… There are a couple of beaches nearby but there is hardly a reason to leave the pool :) There are some great restaurants nearby (drive) - we really enjoyed Bistro La Tache and Konoba Maha. Definitely recommend if you want something secluded, beautiful views and your own pool!

Absolutely stunning location, you are on your own with a superb pool with great views and a rocky beach with some of the best snorkelling opportunities. The terraces are brilliant, with nice shades and lovely wind coming from the sea. The road towards the house is a bit tricky, but nothing to be afraid of - I have fear of heights and here I had no issues to go back and forth. As mentioned in other reviews there is no WiFi so prepare for a digital detox - there is 4G but not the fastest one. Due to the solar panels electricity is limited overall, only 1-1 free electric socket on both floors and no aircon. We were in mid July when outside was 35-37, this meant sometimes 28-30 during the night in the house. Similarly to other beaches in Croatia there is a significant amount of mosquitoes, prepare for that. Other than that it was one of our best holidays, whole island is very nice, Korcula city is gorgeous. There are really great restaurants at 15-20 mins by car.

What an amazing place! Peaceful, private, with a wonderful view and your own beach. We took advantage of the paddle boards and had a wonderful time. As others have said, it’s some distance from town, so you’ll want a car or be prepared to bike a lot (bikes are provided). But that also means it’s very quiet. Lots of birds and butterflies. The accommodations are compact but clean and well-appointed. More than adequate, since you won’t want to spend much time inside anyway. We also appreciated the tasty snacks left for us. Hope to visit again!

Although the house was not modern and felt a little undermaintained, it was comfortable, and the outside space, pool and the location were perfect. It was great having the free use of canoes and bike too. A free ranging tortoise family in the garden was lovely too!

We absolutely loved staying here. A lovely house, with a nice warm pool that is bigger than it looks in the photographs. The view from the terrace was amazing, so much so we stayed and cooked every night on the bbq. The hosts are lovely people who cannot do enough for you and made us feel so welcomed. Even Ivan the neighbour Ivan dropped us off some fresh fish he caught that morning for our bbq. If you like peace and quiet in a beautiful setting and a cosy house that’s only 15 mins drive from shops and restaurants then this is the place for you. We will definitely be back!

It’s a really nice house, light and with plenty of space. The pool is lovely. It is two separate apartments which isnt obvious from the details but two kitchens, shower rooms in both so lots of space. The village is close, Korcula is accessible by bus/cab, a good beach is 20 minutes walk away. Stjepan was very responsive to any questions.

We had such an incredible family holiday here. It’s beautiful, the location is perfect, we hardly needed our hire car. We were so relaxed, the house was homely but not too cluttered, and so clean and well looked after. The kitchen, if you like to cook was good (sharp knives etc!). We loved the outdoor bbq. Lars was a great host, really helpful and easy to approach. Honestly, the best air bnb experience we’ve had in a long time!

This 17th century Castle once guarded the vineyards that surround it from Ottoman and pirate raiders. Now it's immaculately restored, and features a Bosnian theme in its art. It can take 500 years for that which was defended against to infiltrate that which was defended. Alex‘s castle transforms into a kind of opera set in the evenings, it’s easy to imagine elaborate plots unfolding across its two patios and stone steps--to say nothing of the three floors inside. We spent two weeks there in July, and had a great time. It’s true the stones gather heat in our anthropocene summers, butt that's now ameliorated by a couple roll-in AC units, thanks to Alex's understanding and action. Highly recommended.

Amazing stay. Don't waste your time with staying in the downtown location. Everyone we talked with was jealous of our location which was a 3 minute walk to town and had amazing water views. Quite, Clean and Peaceful. Just what the doctor ordered. - Thanks Niko!

Amazing house, beautiful location. We love walking so it was perfect for us to get into Korcula old town most days for the fish market (20 mins along beautiful coast) we used the BBQ and pool and felt like we were in paradise. There is also an amazing Konoba up the mountain road (25 mins or so) behind which we highly recommend.

Dario put a lot of effort into making the place completely up-to-date and modern. As much as we could say 1 million great things about the place, such as super fast ice maker, incredibly comfortable beds, lots of mirrors and great blow dryer ;) …. that balcony was one in 1 million. He was very responsive and even brought us local olive oil and offered great restaurant and beach recommendations! It’s a great central location on the island for everything you might want to experience!

Vi har varit sju vuxna och två barn i Ivankas hus. Alla är mycket nöjda. Vädret har varit mycket bra och vi har lagat all mat antingen i sommarköket eller på stekhällen vid uteplatsen. Alla måltider har vi ätit ute. Härliga sittplatser runt poolen. Vi har nyttjat pool, bordtennisbord, fotbollsspel. Vårt barnbarn på 3,5 år har hoppat studsmatta och tyckt om att leka i poolen. Vi har haft det fantastiskt på detta toppenställe. Ivanka svarar snabbt och är en mycket trevlig värd.

Nikolina a été une hôte superbe, très accueillante, gentille et attentionnée (nous avons eu plein de gentilles attentions de sa part). Le logement est calme, agréable et proche de toutes commodités (super marché, plages, restaurants, bars ). Lumbarda est un endroit merveilleux et la petite vue mer en prenant le petit déjeuner le matin est super sympa ! Nous recommandons sans hésiter !

Dit is gewoon een klein paradijs. Een fantastisch vakantieverblijf. Heel rustig en stil, met veel privacy, mooi uitzicht over zee. Een heerlijk klein zwembad. We hebben bijna elke dag vlees geroosterd op de grillplaats. De host was heel vriendelijk en hulpvaardig. Neem bij aankomst op het eiland gelijk contact op met de host, want met Google Maps kom je er niet.

Ivana was definitely the best host we've had at an Airbnb. She was extremely responsive and helpful with any request we had, be it about the apartment or generally about the location, things to do, recommendations etc. The apartment is wonderful, very spacious and feels very welcoming. Everything is as described in the listing and even surpassed our expectations. A great hot tub overlooking the nearby sea was a very relaxing way to begin and end the day! Perfect for a family of four. Nearby local beach is 300m walk, 15 minutes walk gets you to Lumbarda town and beaches with access to boat, jet ski and SUP rentals and lots of restaurants. Good Wi-Fi also meant we could do some work when needed. We loved every minute and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday. The house is beautiful, cool, comfortable and spotless. The location is perfect, right next to the harbour, bus station and a small supermarket, and a short walk to old town. Marija is helpful and responsive. The parking place is under a nearby shopping centre, which is secure and keeps the car cool, but a few minutes walk uphill. To take luggage to and fro, I recommend parking on the harbour side, as close as possible to the bus station.

Odličan, novoobnovljeni i dobro opremljeni apartman u Žrnovskoj Banji na korak do Korčule. Vrlo ugodan prostor niske prizemnice podijeljen u dva odvojena smještaja, svaki sa spavaćom sobom, kupaonicom i dnevnim boravkom i kuhinjom te velikim zajedničkim dvorištem i natkrivenom terasom. Sve je klimatizirano i vrlo privatno, bez znatiželjnih pogleda. Blizu mora i na samoj prometnici Korčula - Račišće. Vrlo preporučljivo mjesto za odmor.

Lovely little house on top of a hill in beautiful Racisce! Lots of stairs, outside and inside, so not for disabled or small children. House Zrno is a perfect getaway for a couple who love peace and quiet in a small but simple place. The village is a sleeping beauty where nothing much happens. Two really good restaurants (Konoba Vala and Bistro Cin & Cin) and a small supermarket. A lovely pier and a couple of small beaches. The house is surrounded by lemon trees, fig trees, grapevine and blackberry bushes. The best thing about the house probably is the outside shower which is a life saver on hot afternoons. Don’t go here to expect luxury or extreme comfort, but for the rare experience of tranquility and a very peaceful vacation.

We loved our stay here. Sadly it was only for one night as would have enjoyed sitting in the back garden or spending time at the beach just a few minutes away. Just a short walk to the old town. Korcula is an amazing place and would recommend Ivana’s as a great place to stay.
