Mario was extra nice and he even let us stay latter than the check-out accorded because there wasn’t another guest arriving. He even came to pick us up at the port. We really enjoyed our stay because the house was pleasant and the island beautiful! :)

Beautiful little house surrounded with lots of olive trees. It was very peaceful and the house was equipped with everything we needed (and more). We (and our dog) enjoyed our stay a lot.

Absolutely stunning location, you are on your own with a superb pool with great views and a rocky beach with some of the best snorkelling opportunities. The terraces are brilliant, with nice shades and lovely wind coming from the sea. The road towards the house is a bit tricky, but nothing to be afraid of - I have fear of heights and here I had no issues to go back and forth. As mentioned in other reviews there is no WiFi so prepare for a digital detox - there is 4G but not the fastest one. Due to the solar panels electricity is limited overall, only 1-1 free electric socket on both floors and no aircon. We were in mid July when outside was 35-37, this meant sometimes 28-30 during the night in the house. Similarly to other beaches in Croatia there is a significant amount of mosquitoes, prepare for that. Other than that it was one of our best holidays, whole island is very nice, Korcula city is gorgeous. There are really great restaurants at 15-20 mins by car.

What an amazing place! Peaceful, private, with a wonderful view and your own beach. We took advantage of the paddle boards and had a wonderful time. As others have said, it’s some distance from town, so you’ll want a car or be prepared to bike a lot (bikes are provided). But that also means it’s very quiet. Lots of birds and butterflies. The accommodations are compact but clean and well-appointed. More than adequate, since you won’t want to spend much time inside anyway. We also appreciated the tasty snacks left for us. Hope to visit again!

Although the house was not modern and felt a little undermaintained, it was comfortable, and the outside space, pool and the location were perfect. It was great having the free use of canoes and bike too. A free ranging tortoise family in the garden was lovely too!

We loved our stay here. Sadly it was only for one night as would have enjoyed sitting in the back garden or spending time at the beach just a few minutes away. Just a short walk to the old town. Korcula is an amazing place and would recommend Ivana’s as a great place to stay.

It is said that nothing in this world is perfect, but our experience here was absolutely perfect. From beginning to end the hospitality was intuitive and generous, and the space was curated beautifully. That’s without even mentioning the location. The serene setting is the chef’s kiss. So good!

Best airbnb we've been! We were a family of 4. Nice And comfortable apartment on great location. Big 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen And living room. It has 2 terrase on which You can enjoy all day because they are in shade most of day... Close to sea And only 5 minutes walk from supermarket. It has everything that You need for Your holiday, extremely well equipped. It was very clean. Željko And his family are very Kind People. They are all great hosts! Lumbarda is beautiful place. On Korčula You have lot of taxi boat which You can GO to many Small nearby islands. Would recommend this apartment to everyone 100%

A great apartment located in the centre of Orebic, close to the beach and shops. Very large and nice garden and we felt welcomed by Emil and his family.

I rented two units at Tanya's lovely ecohotel for a 3-night stay with my daughter and two other friends for our time on Korcula. It was wonderful. First, Tanya is a great host. She arranged for a taxi to come get our luggage from the ferry so that we could explore Old Town before our rooms were ready, she provided restaurant and activity recommendations, and she even gave me a birthday present! Second, the property is beautiful with a gorgeous west facing view of the harbor so you can see the sun setting. The decor is bohemian beach chic and it's immediately evident that this is Tanya's passion project. The bedding was wonderful and our unit had a useful kitchenette with a Nespresso maker, kettle and fridge. Third, the property is right on the main street (a small dead end street to noise is not an issue) within walking distance to the water taxi dock that takes you to Old Town, Vrnik, and Badija as well as vineyards. Tanya also has a SUP to use right across the street!

Great place in Lumbarda, great for a couple. Would highly recommend having a car to get around and see the island.

We had a fantastic stay at Mirjana and Teo's apartment in Korcula. Warm welcome by Teo, with fruit and drinks awaiting us, and insightful info about beaches and restaurants. The apartment has great character, with its beautiful furniture and art pieces, and particularly comfortable. The location is great just footsteps from the old town. Thank you for a lovely time, we would come back anytime!

Wir waren zu Dritt und haben 4 Nächte in Georgs Wohnung verbringen dürfen. Vom Anfang bis am Schluss einfach sensationell. Georg war sehr gut erreichbar, hat für uns noch einen Parkplatz in der Marina organisiert und wir wurden bei unserer Ankunft dort bereits von Deni erwartet. Sie hat uns dann zu Wohnung begleitet und uns alles erklärt. Die Wohnung liegt in der Altstadt in der Fußgängerzone und ist über ein paar Stufen sehr gut erreichbar. Restaurants hat es also gleich um die Ecke. Die Wohnung ist wunderschön renoviert, ausgewählt eingerichtet und sehr gemütlich. In der Küche und im Badezimmer hat es auch alles, was es braucht, um ein paar Tage dort zu verbringen. Georg hat sich auch die Mühe gemacht, verschiedene Restaurant- und Ausflugtipps aufzuschreiben und wenn wir etwas nicht wussten, war Deni gerne und schnell bereit, uns mit Tipps zu versorgen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt jede Sekunde genossen und können die Wohnung wirklich empfehlen.

We stayed with family and friends for a week and loved the beautiful house, the view over the sea from all rooms as well as from the pool! The house was spacious and was nicely furnished and decorated with a luxurious feeling

This is our second stay and was even better than the first. There was amazing communication and flexibility for check in/check out. We were greeted with a fridge full of fruit, milk, juice and snacks. The pool had an issue and it was resolved immediately and host kept of checking in to make sure all was ok. Very helpful local tips for eateries nearby as well as clinics on a Saturday. They were accommodating when our friends arrived and brought over an extra set of linens. The house itself has very comfortable beds, plenty of bathrooms with enough space to feel together but separate all the time. We had family meals prepared in the kitchen and the exterior table was perfect for games and watching the night come in. We cannot say enough positive things and will probably be back for a 3rd visit next summer.

We spent 7 beautiful days at Maja’s Villa. The view was always amazing, the house itself was comfortable and clean. The location was isolated enough to feel peaceful, with a couple of excellent restaurants and easy walk away and a short drive of many several beautiful villages. We had some unusual circumstances, a power outage on the island, followed by a power outage for the region the next day. There was a heat wave so being without the air conditioning and refrigerator were a bit unpleasant. But the pool and ocean a few feet from the house helped us cope. Throughout, Maja and a local manager were in constant contact, keeping us informed and updated. They made great recommendations for a fishing/snorkeling trip with a stellar picnic. They also found cooking equipment for us so we could try making a Peka on our last night. Would recommend Maja’s Villa with no reservations!

We had an amazing stay at the villa. Beautiful house and grounds which suited our family perfectly. Loved the BBQ and outdoor seating area. Spent a lot of our time around the large pool. The house was beautifully decorated and very well equipped. Thanks to Dasa and Mira, we couldn’t have asked for better hosts.

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt, die Woche verging leider wie im Flug. Die private Lage inmitten der schönen Natur ist einzigartig und den liebevoll bepflanzten Garten von Antonija und Ante kann man nur lieben. Die Aussicht und die tägliche Erfrischung im Pool sind unbeschreiblich. Die Unterkunft bietet alles was man braucht, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Man fühlt sich schnell wie zuhause. Die Insekten haben nicht gestört, es war eher interessant das Leben zu beobachten. Die Wespen kommen nur zum Trinken und interessieren sich nicht für uns. Beim Essen hatten wir immer eine Zitronella Kerze angezündet und somit keine Probleme mit Insekten. Wer die Natur und einen privaten Ort zum Energie tanken sucht, ist hier gut aufgehoben! Gordan is an amazing host and his house is even nicer than the photos. He was extremely helpful with great local recommendations, available whenever we had questions and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. The area is quiet with beautiful views, a really nice small waterfront town with good restaurants, cafes and wineries within walking distance. Highly recommended and will definitely be visiting again.

My selfish goal with this review would be to prevent you from making a reservation for this place - so that I would have more options to use it in the future! The reality is that I cannot be that selfish and that this slice of heaven should be shared in such a way that the most people possible can benefit from its exceptional nature. Never have I been more comfortable or at ease in nature than at Marko’s family house. My family knew from the moment we started down the driveway - that we were in for a life changing experience. The amenities were perfect for the environment. Please don’t consider this place if you need your hair dryer, washer/dryer, or infinity pool - you wouldn’t understand this place and all that it can do for you and your family if those are vacation requirements. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to Marko and his family for creating such an EPIC experience. We will be back!!!
